Bosau, a recognized climatic health resort, is located on the eastern shore of the southern part of Lake Plön and is surrounded by the typical rolling hills of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park. Hardly any other place in Holsteinische Schweiz combines the feeling of country life, family vacations, art, and culture quite like Bosau. Of course, cultural attractions such as Plön Castle, Eutin Castle, or the Eutin Festival are true tourist and public magnets. You can spend your vacation relaxing or staying active—hiking, biking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), canoeing, and much more are on the list of favorite leisure activities here. Bosau’s 600-meter-long, 10-meter-wide natural swimming beach—free of rocks—invites people of all ages to swim and relax.
