Este es dos lindo, divertido, recientemente remodelado, muy bien amueblado y convenientemente ubicado. Son un dúplex y se adjuntan con una pared común para que pueda escuchar a sus vecinos de vez en cuando. Cocina completa y dormitorio separado con una cama cómoda tamaño KING en una casa (unidad A) y una reina en la otra (unidad B)! ¡Disfruta de la lavadora, la secadora y la parrilla de gas en ambas unidades! La calle de enfrente tiene tráfico.

Autopista cerca, 10 a 15 minutos del zoológico, la Universidad Estatal de San Diego (a 4 millas), el centro de San Diego, y 15 minutos de Coronado y las playas. También permitimos mascotas y ofrecemos un servicio de cuidado de mascotas si necesita dejar a su perro en nuestra casa mientras visita la ciudad. ¡Estas casas tienen una cocina completa que ahorra dinero al comer afuera todo el tiempo! ¡Hay un pequeño patio trasero cerrado en cada hogar para 'colgar, barbacoa o un lugar para que su mascota pueda pasear! Sí, somos aptos para mascotas después de la aprobación! El estacionamiento está justo en la puerta de entrada y la tienda de comestibles está a un minuto en auto o a pocos minutos a pie. Como propietarios, vivimos a unos 2 minutos y esperamos hacer que su estancia sea IMPRESIONANTE !!

Un viaje corto (5 minutos?) es el corazón de la aldea de La Mesa, un lugar histórico conocido como la "joya de las colinas". Hay excelentes restaurantes, cafeterías, tiendas de antigüedades y especializadas. Las noches a menudo se llenan con el sonido de la música de los locales. El Friday Farmers Market bulle de actividad durante todo el año. Hay sol, puestas de sol, vistas montañosas y brisas del océano.

Pero puede que venga a San Diego por las famosas atracciones: las playas, Sea World, el Zoológico de San Diego, la Isla Coronado, la Bahía de San Diego y eventos en el Estadio Qualcomm. Todos esos lugares están a más de 10 millas de La Mesa y las autopistas que lo llevan allí están a solo 800 metros de este dúplex. El carro es práctico y proporciona un fácil acceso al centro de San Diego y todo lo demás. ¿Visita la Universidad Estatal de San Diego? ¡El tranvía es la mejor manera de llegar porque te deja justo en el campus!

Had an excellent stay again, Linda and Bill are great hosts. any problems that came along they handled immediately. I can't say enough about the location, easy access to any place in San Diego. Lat year we stayed in the B unit and the A unit this year, while they are pretty similar, the B unit has sliding doors and a concrete patio whereas the A unit has a walk out door and no real formal patio. Still all said this is an awesome place to stay and you won't find better or more responsive hosts than Linda and Bill.

wonderful affordable accommodation!

Our stay at Linda and Bill's duplex in La Mesa was lovely. Linda was very quick to respond to our inquiry and made last minute arrangements to ensure we had a short term place to stay after we sold our home. We own two small dogs and this duplex is perfect for those traveling with animals. The unit is pet friendly which can be hard to find. It has a small secure yard in the back for the dogs to get some fresh air and hardwood floor throughout the unit. During our several week stay we were able to cook meals and utilized the new 42" television they installed. There is no dishwasher but the soap, towels, and drying rack were easy to use. Also if your stay is extended there is no washer and dryer but there are laundromat's nearby. The location is very convenient close to the freeway, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Parking was easy and never an issue. I would suggest this accommodation to those that will a vehicle during their stay because it is a 10-15 minute drive to attractions. The owner was helpful and available!

Nice little place - perfect commuter location

Perfect little place for our extended stay in San Diego, excellent commuter location. Little bit dated but clean, nice kitchen, nice comfortable bed in bedroom. The owners were great with excellent and quick communication and swiftly addressed an issue we found the first night. Had a great stay. Would definitely use again.

Great yard space!

I rented this home for an extended stay while in San Diego as a travel nurse. This unit was fantastic and at such a great price! Fully furnished and stocked with everything you need from kitchen supplies to cleaning products. I stayed with my two dogs so having the yard was a huge bonus! Fully fenced with a grill to cook out in a nice quiet neighborhood. We spent a good amount of time relaxing and soaking in the sun. Linda and Bill are fantastic hosts as well. The check in process was easy and they respond quickly to any questions you may have. Highly Recommended!!!

If you are looking for clean, quiet and comfortable, this isn’t it.

First off let’s start with the positive. The bathroom was modern and there was plenty of hot water. There was an excellent set of washer and dryer they were large and worked well. The kitchen was plenty big enough and was well equipped. Unfortunately, that’s it. This was situated between an incredibly noisy street, so noisy we couldn’t leave the door open, and hwy 94 which was constant noise. It was over 100* every day and there was a tiny AC in the bedroom which did not cool down the living room AT ALL. The windows where the AC was placed buzzed loudly and gave a bit of a boom when it turned off. I had to stick tubes of medication in the window along with cardboard to get quiet.There was a floor fan that did not help. I’m disabled and spent most of my time in the house with sweat rolling down soaking my clothes. The bed, even with the thin mattress topper, was horrendously uncomfortable and the pull out couch was worse. My granddaughter slept on 2 blankets and a comforter folded up which was uncomfortable in its own right. To top it off the sheets on the couch were dirty and had hair and makeup on them, JUST GROSS!! When the couch was folded into a couch, it was STILL hard as a rock. The kitchen and living room floors were so filthy that our feet were constantly black. It was gross. I feel as expensive as this was I could have stayed in a nice hotel, but chose this to have a kitchen. All in all this was expensive to start with but REALLY expensive for a terrible stay. I was insulted at having to pay a cleaning fee when I had to stay in a dirty house. I feel like they should take my Very expensive fee and get a decent mattress and sofa. I had a pull out couch for years and it was comfortable so I know it’s possible.

The place was great, roomy, clean and well furnished. Location is awesome, centrally located.

My wife and I stayed for 2 months (1 Feb thru 1 Apr) and had a blast, Linda and Bill are great hosts who do their best to assist you with anything that comes up. I can't emphasize enough on the location, you are within 15 - 20 minutes from almost everything and with the 94 a minute away access is easy. Home had total package of furnishings a person could walk in with their clothes and have all you need. Parking was always easy and accessible. I would recommend this for everyone and we will definitely be back. Easily a 5 star stay. We both feel like we hit a home run with this choice. Thank you Linda and Bill.

Everything We Needed for a Wonderful Summer Getaway

My fiancé and I stayed here for a month with our pup and we absolutely loved the place! We had everything we needed and Linda and Bill were always available when we had any questions. The property is close to the city and all other major attractions. Full kitchen enabled us to make meals and we used the grill most nights. Linda and Bill keep the place very nice and clean. The neighbors are all friendly. There is a fenced in backyard so Zeke was able to go outside back with us. We were also able to host 2 additional guests for a few nights. I highly recommend Linda and Bill's place and would most definitely stay again!

Amazing stay!!

Linda and Bill were extremely helpful during our stay. We ended up needing to extend two separate times and they were absolutely accommodating. The house was exactly as described and fully furnished with everything we could need during our stay away from home. Our puppy was also welcomed with open arms which can be hard to find. The fenced in area in the backyard allowed us the option to let her out without worry! We would absolutely recommend this property to all family and friends! Thanks Linda and Bill!

Perfect longer term stay!

Our stay here was exactly what we needed. We were relocating to the San Diego area and needed a place to move to while we found a longer term lease. We stayed here for about 2 months and it was a great place. Communication with Linda was fast, easy, and consistent. They also checked in with us through out our stay to continuously make sure we were doing alright and didn't need anything. The house itself is exactly as advertised and was perfect for us and our lab that moved with us. Easy accessibility to the 94 freeway which can get you anywhere and allowed us to get to know San Diego but come back to comfort every day. The house is indeed a duplex but the next door neighbors were never an issue and we often grilled in the backyard. Kitchen had everything we needed and like other reviews said the bed was super comfortable. Plenty of street parking at all times during the day and very close to grocery stores and everything you'd need. We also stayed during an uncharacteristically hot period in San Diego and it's common to not have air conditioning in this city. There is however a super cold AC unit in the bedroom and a fan and we were fine through all of it. If you're needing a place for short term or for longer term this is a great option and I highly recommend it! Thank you Linda and Bill for a great stay!

Wonderful experience

It is so hard to find a place that allows three dog, but to find a place that is so friendly toward pet owners is damn near impossible. Linda was so welcoming and helpful, she even left a little toy for a dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone! Huge plus, the bed is amazingly comfortable!

Your unit was perfect for February in La Mesa. It has all the essentials - nice appliances including washer/dryer, Wi-Fi and TV and a fenced back yard for our dog. It's less than a mile from the trolley station, so it is easy to ride downtown without worrying about parking in the city. Stores & restaurants were close and freeway access is nearby for trips to the ocean. All in all a very convenient location, with nice neighbors & no problem parking on the street. All this and the nicest landlords we could ever hope for...Thank you Linda and Bill for a great stay. We'll definitely stay here again if we're back in the area.

Perfect!!

We loved our stay at this adorable little place in La Mesa! This rental is a much better alternative to a cramped hotel room! The house was very clean and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. It was so great to have our own place complete with a full kitchen! We loved grilling in the back yard and enjoying the beautiful weather. There were restaurants and stores within walking distance which made it great for us since we didn't have access to a car. The owners were friendly and very accommodating and we can't wait to stay here again!!

Perfect Couple's Getaway, Perfect Location.

I almost hate to write a review because then everyone will know how great this place is and it might not be available the next time my husband and I want to come out and spend another month or so! This little condo is bright and cheery and very clean with one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Very inviting, and Bill and Linda made sure we had everything we needed. Having our own washer and dryer was a big plus being there for a month, and the little back yard was great for an evening wine for me and scotch and cigar for my husband. The neighborhood is friendly and very safe; I had no hesitation walking my dog at any time of the day or night around the neighborhood and it was a great way to meet the other neighbors and dogs nearby. The street is pretty busy during the day but gets more quiet at night. The location is so perfect that we could get to any of the many expressways easily and within minutes, and to any of the grocery stores that we needed, especially Sprouts and Trader Joe's. Personally, as a foodie, having a gas stove/oven and a full functioning kitchen and fridge was a real plus because we didn't need to go out to eat unless we desired, and I was able to do lots of baking and cooking, much to the delight of my kids and grand-kids. Not having a dishwasher may be an inconvenience for some but it's definitely not a drawback to staying there again. Also, having a secure internet connection I was able to work as a telecommuter without compromise of my computer data. We look forward to our next visits to San Diego and staying in this condo. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Bill and Linda are wonderful hosts, and I would stay in any of the VRBO's that they own.

We loved staying in Linda and Bills vacation rental. Its the perfect place for a couple to stay. It felt just like a little home away from home and made our vacation that much more relaxing. The bed is SUPER COMFORTABLE, there's all the amenities you need; including cable TV & washer and dryer, an area in the back to hangout and even a grill! My boyfriend and I were there for a week and I was able to cook the whole time we were there :) VERY comfortable stay and super affordable opposed to a hotel. Also, the location of the rental is GREAT!!!! We were literally 15 minutes away from everywhere that we went. Your near the grocery store, Walmart, Target, different restaurants and much more. Overall it really was a wonderful stay and we enjoyed ourselves. If your looking for somewhere to relax and just having a place to wind down after a long day this is definitely the place to pick. Some days we just stayed there to kick our feet up and enjoy the sun because its that comfortable. I recommend this rental to anyone. You really feel at home while your there. We will be looking forward to working with Linda and Bill again :)

Some days we just stayed there to kick our feet up and enjoy the sun because its that comfortable. I recommend this rental to anyone. You really feel at home while your there. We will be looking forward to working with Linda and Bill again :)

A week in La Mesa

We loved the stay in the Bill and Linda's wonderful little house in La Mesa. It was very inviting, and full of anything you would need on vacation. The bed was the most comfortable bed I had slept in on vacation! The house is centrally located, the neighbors are very nice, and it is in a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of room for all of your guests and does not feel like you are living in someone else's house. They have made it so welcoming and Bill and Linda checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything and they we were enjoying our stay. We had a late check in and an early check out, and it was very easy. I would recommend this place to everyone! We plan on visiting San Diego frequently (about twice or three times a year) and this will be the ONLY place we stay. This is San Diego's best kept secret!!!

Convenient location with a comfortable feel!

I had an excellent stay at Linda and Bill's La Mesa apartment this past Labor Day. It was during a heat streak and my husband loves to cook, so at first he felt frustrated at the lack of ac in the living/kitchen areas and basic cooking supplies; however by the next morning, he was lounging in that comfortable bed and sofa. The bedroom has ac, so I immediately found that I agreed with the claim of not wanting to get out of it. The bed is super soft and though my husband typically prefers a firm mattress, I noticed that simply one night's sleep improved our overall moods. I even felt energized enough to go for about a mile walk to a discount shoe store in neighboring Lemon Grove. Our dogs loved the small yard and enjoyed walks to a nearby store. For the value, it's the absolute best of what it has to offer. I believe that the owners may also rent out the two bedroom with fenced front yard next door....if the bed is like this one, I can't wait to try it out or return here for sure! Linda and Bill were available for questions or assistance. Check in/out were a breeze!! Thanks Linda and Bill! BTW, I am recommending for romantic getaway as that bed is soooo relaxing. I recommend for tourists/sightseeing because if I can make my walk, almost anyone could likely walk a little further to the Lemon Grove trolley station and get around SD without a car.

SDSU visit

Beautiful place! very cozy, clean, bright, safe, close to everything and the owners are wonderful hosts. We were very lucky to come across this rental at the very last minute; Staying at this wonderful place made the visit to our son at SDSU a wonderful experience, we will definetely rent it again.

Fun Trip To San Diego!

The owners Linda & Bill have just went above & beyond for our family! They where able to fix up the place with 12hr notice! We love the the big open kitchen! Staying over a week it has saved us some funds cooking ourselves! The king size bed is so comfy! The place is on a busy street but it quiets down at nice. The house stayed pretty cool inside. Short car ride to major grocery stores & restaurants. There's a pretty big back yard, just needs a little TLC & it will be perfect! We will stay here again when we are back in town!
