Family vacation

Property is in a great location. It was clean. Beds are horribly uncomfortable!!! It would also be great to have access to clean towels and washcloths and not have to reuse day after day. We were there Sunday- Thursday. Unit has a great view from the 5th floor balcony. The pool area is great. Tiki bar is great! The Hawaiian Inn is in need of a remodel overall. BUT We would stay again. Myself, hubby, 21 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter.

Great View

Pictures & listing were as described. Price was good for an ocean view. The condo was clean with a great view of the ocean & waves. We were seeking a somewhat off-season time for peace & quite. The convenience of food & bar on location was a contributing factor in the decision to stay at this condo. It was also close to other restaurants &/or entertainment me were interested in. It was a good time if your planning on the Daytona Beach area.

Definitely not like the the photos. But the price was right.

We did not realize it was a party place and not a family atmosphere. The staff are not very friendly and the the first answer to any question is what room number. “Oh, that’s a private room, we don’t do that for you” no matter what the question. I brought a 12 & 14 yr old and was not impressed with the casual anyone come and party here. Which they did in fact come and party at the Hawaiian Inn. The beds could be more comfortable and the towels a bit bigger.

Loved the view

We enjoyed are stay and loved the view but the first night there we seen a roach, they had just sprayed so that could be why but other than that it was great.

Building remodel led to poor stay

We were woken by loud work outside the 5th floor patio on the first morning. I attempted to ascertain the extent of work and how much of our trip would be impacted, but even after a few attempts I never received a response from the host. Also never got a response on towel exchange for our extended stay. Turns out there is no towel service. This wouldn’t be so bad if we could wash and dry ourselves, but alas the unit does not have a washer/dryer. Perhaps the building has a laundry room, but again our host was completely unresponsive once we checked in. We will avoid this unit and building in the future.

Just ok…

Upon arrival we quickly noticed dirty and poorly lit hallways. Entire resort could use a facelift. They were working on the outside rear of the building. Pool area was beautiful and clean. Apartment was clean just dated it could also use a facelift. The description, amenities described “beach chairs” for use. There were no beach chairs, in the unit, only ones by the pool that couldn’t be moved out to the beach. This was a pretty big deal for us since we were flying into town. We had a great time and enjoyed the area, it could just use some updates. Thanks for such an easy process and good communication.

Super Clean with a Beautiful View

Would highly recommend this unit and the owner was wonderful to work with!! Super clean, updated unit that has everything you need for a great stay. The view of the ocean and pool area was amazing!! We definitely will rent again on our next stay.

Our Vacation

We love this property and it is just what we wanted to stay in. The bedroom, living room and kitchen were great. It is so close to all the things we like to do and the access to the beach and pool were great! We will definitely be back for our vacation again.

It’s okay, but things you need to know

The sleeper sofa bed is really hard and uncomfortable. You could feel the rails and there’s nothing the owners can do about it. I asked. You can’t get new clean rugs or towels from down stairs, so bring your own. Other than that, it was a okay stay. The location, the pool, the beach, the bar, and the food. If you say here I recommend going to the Luau Dinner Show downstairs. It was a great experience.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is an older building with older elevator but the room is very nice and nicely decorated. The furniture and beds were quite comfortable. Check in was easy. Nice balcony overlooking pool and beach. It’s a small kitchen but was what we needed for long weekend. I would love to go back anytime.

I highly do not recommend

So I had issue after issue with certain things like the stove heating up when going to the pool when it was off. The women that owned the property never reached out to me after repeadtly texting her on Vrbo and text message. It was not very well cleaned. And outside of the place reaks. The beds were already full of sand when we arrived late Saturday. I usually check for bed bugs stuff like that and when I lifted sheets full of sand. Make sure you bring a lot of your own supplies from home. I had certain questions to ask her and she would never respond to anything I asked her. She did once it took her two and half days. When I asked her some other things I never got a response. Never seen a more unprofessional person in my life. The only good thing about the hotel is the bar and the view but I recommend checking out the hotel instead. Good luck. Worst experience I’ve ever had in Daytona Vrbo wise.

Great place to stay!

Loved staying here! My family stays at the Hawaiian inn every year. This was my first time renting this room and we loved it. Very clean, spacious and a great view. Also, check in was a breeze and the owner was pleasant and gave me all the information in advance. The only tiny thing was 4PM check in was a bit late but I understand that's pretty typical. Definitely will be staying here again!!

Great property for the price

The property was as stated. It is an older property, but I was expecting it to be. The room was clean and accurately described. We only stayed for 3 nights, so it was perfect. With no washer and dryer in the room, it would have been hard to stay longer. Pool was very nice and cleaned daily. You can sit on pool deck and still have a great view of the beach.

This condo should be adequate for any ones needs (no more than two people) don't expect Conrad Hilton. The location, balcony views and pool are what make this condo better. The grounds are kept up and clean. The lobby area and the elevator you will use are old and have seen better days. Info update; Two beds in the bedroom are doubles against the wall makes it difficult to get in and out of bed this would be very difficult if there were 4-people. No place to put your suitcase unless it's on the floor or you keep moving on and off the bed. The mattress's are uncomfortable for two people not very supportive any longer. One dresser with mirror. One closet (broom closet with hangers) vacuum, brooms, books and beach chairs. No dishwasher or disposal. Bathroom is small difficult for 2-people to move around unless one is in the shower. Allow lots of time for the water to get hot or boil on the stove for dish washing.

Another visit to the Hawaiian

This was our 3rd trip to the Hawaiian and it won’t be the last. We have stayed in this unit twice but have worked with this owner for all 3 visits. Can’t wait to return next year!

Our Vacation

We had a great time on our vacation! The property was just what we wanted. There was plenty of room in all the rooms. We made breakfasts and some suppers. The kitchen had room for all the family to cook and eat. In the living room there was room for all of us to sit if we wanted to. In the bedroom we were comfortable and had room for our things. The balcony was great for just sitting and enjoy the ocean. We loved it and will definitly book it again.

Communication was terrible, property was great.

Check in information was not listed. We arrived after the 4pm check in time and could not get Ana to respond to any phone calls. Finally after about 30 minutes she updated the check in information. She still did not return any calls or have any contact with us at all. Besides that everything was great and we had a wonderful time.

Vacation after Xmas

Nice condo on ocean between Daytona and Port Orange. Spectacular view of ocean. Nice location, Hot water took a little time to heat up and internet was very slow. All in all had a very nice stay.
