Nuestra recientemente renovada Paradise Farmhouse del siglo XVIII en Aquidneck Island combina comodidad y funcionalidad con una ubicación espectacular. The Farmhouse ofrece una ubicación única para retiros de vacaciones en la naturaleza ubicados en el Santuario de Aves Norman de 325 acres con 7 millas de senderos, jardines y campos ondulados. La propiedad está ubicada entre hermosas playas, viñedos locales, puestos de granjas, y está a solo 5 minutos en coche del histórico Newport y todas sus famosas atracciones.

La granja está en el registro nacional de lugares históricos. Esta estructura de 6,000 pies cuadrados tiene seis habitaciones y 7. 5 baños (2 habitaciones con camas matrimoniales, 1 habitación con literas para 6 y 3 de las habitaciones se pueden configurar con 1 cama king o 2 camas individuales). Paradise Farm house

Staying at the Paradise Farm house, it was so easy to imagine you were living there. Fourteen of us, including seven children, found plenty of space to talk, play games and enjoy big meals. This is a jewel!

Beautiful property and grounds w/ access to kid friendly beach or another w/ waves on the coast. Every bedroom had its own shower and bath which was key bc we had 3 generations of family w/ 9 kids ranging from 1-10. Would love to go back again!

Wedding in New port with door county twist

The Norman Bird sanctuary and Paradise farm House worked out perfectly for our son‘s wedding in Newport. Being from Wisconsin and summering in door County wi . It gave us a feeling of home too . The farm house was especially nice for the groomsmen to get ready ready there . Grounds as well as the restoration of the property/farmhouse is exceptional for family gathering . The only element guests need to be aware of is the rooster in the garden and shortage of dish towels for the kitchen . Overall Fun was had by all thank you .

Family and Friends, New and Old

Outstanding! The amenities include everything one might need to cook in, entertain, and simple be comfortable!! Every room in the house has a special feel. The grounds are beautiful and inviting for many a walk. Lovely landscaping and beautiful stone walls. The location is a walk to the beach. It's a perfect place to relax and be with those you love!!

Amazing house and location!

This farmhouse is aptly named...Paradise! The old charm combined with fresh new amenities on a gorgeous expanse of land is just picturesque and perfect! Everything was in perfect order and so right for our whole family including my 85 year old parents and my siblings and our older children. We could all be together in the same home for a family weekend wedding in Newport.

Stay at Paradise Farm

This has become our second "home" for our annual family gathering. We first chose it because it was equidistant for folks coming from NY, MA, NH . . . but it is so much more than that! The 6000-feet of space is perfect for our half dozen kids, who love the bunk room and all the hiding places to be found. The large dining area is perfect for the big meals we cook, and each bedroom is its own oasis. Trails, the beach, the views--everything is ready for you to have a visit that builds memories.

Serene, Comfortable Stay

We traveled to Rhode Island as a family group of 12 (ages 11- 82) and so enjoyed this charming and truly special home. It was clean and comfortable and fit us all in with ease. The amenities were closer to those of a hotel than a rental home with the bathrooms full of fluffy towels and delightful local soap, lotion, and shampoo. The huge dining room was especially wonderful, and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. We cooked a ton during our stay. We got mostly clouds, drizzle, and grey skies, but the beauty of the area shone through, and we enjoyed the property, trails, and surrounding towns. It is a historic, somewhat delicate house, however, so maybe not the best fit for those with toddlers or younger kids.

The name says it all!

Paradise Farmhouse is a charming, practical house in a spectacular setting. We particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, the ample dining room, the quiet bedrooms, and the ocean view (in winter!). Our family had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas here! We look forward to returning in warmer months when we can take better advantage of the outdoor opportunities.

Clean and spacious farmhouse with beautiful view

We had a great time! The Farmhouse is clean and beautiful. The rooms are large and each one has it's own bathroom. There is a great yard with an amazing view. Beautiful short walking trails around. Would definitely come back!

Family vacation

Beautiful, expansive property offering room for all to sleep w bathrooms in every bedroom, plenty of room to cook, dine, entertain in this historic, well maintained, comfortable house. The property consists of acres and acres of trails leading to all kinds of adventures w lots of wildlife, beaches, pond and more. Our family consists of 13 members ranging in age from 72 to 9 most, with others visiting at times. We were all comfy and happy w plenty of room to spread out for privacy or communal dining, visiting, etc. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Great experience

Stayed over 4th of July week with family. The house is large. Bathrooms in every bedroom. Communication with property manager was great. The property was large and access to the walking/ hiking trails was convenient. I would recommend the place to friends and we would stay here again.

Perfect girls weekend spot!

The house was amazing! Gorgeous location and views all around the house. House was super clean and furniture was up to date & comfortable. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom! Jeannie was great checking us in and helping to answer any questions- also loved the tour she gave us of the house and hearing about the history of the house & sanctuary. Overall, we had a great experience at the house and would definitely recommend it to any large group!

Pristine, quiet, relaxing bit of paradise

I stayed at Paradise Farmhouse with 8 women for a weekend away. We were all charmed by the simple elegance of the property, the comfort of the rooms and the beauty of the landscape. We saw many wild deer as well as birds on our numerous walks. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and upbeat. I would recommend it to anyone.

Outstanding views and trails. Great house and comfortable

Outstanding in all ways. Jeannie is superb. Had 15 people for wedding. All enjoyed hiking and we put on a dinner for 18 and everything we needed. Coffeemaker has a problem on first morning and it was replaced in less than 15 mins. Nice Empire coffee provided. Great views, beach access all you need. Highly recommended

Paradise Farmhouse exceeded every expectation. Very clean, tastefully decorated, spacious, charming, comfortable. We rented the farmhouse for our annual family reunion. We're a picky group, having stayed in great hotels all over the world, and everyone was wowed by the Farmhouse. The house in any setting would be a delight, but surrounded by the bird sanctuary grounds, not far from the ocean, and just a short drive to Newport made it a dream come true. Great views from the upstairs bedrooms, birds chirping in the morning, a lovely garden, a great outdoor patio for gathering, an inside dining room that comfortably sat all 14 of us. The property manager Jeanne was terrific--very helpful, clear, responsive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone . No matter how long you plan to stay, I suggest you double it. You won't want to leave. The only thing we wished for was a tv ---there were some significant sports happening while we were there, and it would have been nice to watch them at the Farmhouse vs. having to go elsewhere. Overall though, the place gets an A+. It's a lovely house in a beautiful setting. Book it.

Wonderful family retreat

The Farmhouse is a true joy - clean, modern yet spare, retaining all original flooring and unique features with thoughtful upgrades and pristine baths for all rooms. The kitchen is well-appointed and there are rooms for small groups and larger family gatherings. The grounds and views are the real assets though - walking and hiking on the trails in the bird sanctuary with views of the ocean are amazing. The Farmhouse is tucked away, quiet and peaceful yet so close to downtown. We were ages 6 months - mid-fifties and we all loved it. Make sure you bring food because you will not want to leave!

Family reunion

Our family of 14 (including 6 children, ages 6-15) spent the Labor Day weekend at Paradise Farmhouse. It was, indeed, paradisical. The bedrooms were comfortable, with en suite baths. The central air conditioning/heating was very effective (but we didn't need it). The common areas--two sitting rooms, two dining rooms--allowed different groups to form and interact (and play non-stop card and board games). The kitchen was ample. The walks in Norman Bird Sanctuary (right from the house) were inviting and perfect for all ages (6-75). Third Beach was a few minutes drive (and a few more minutes by bicycle, which avoids parking charges) and perfect for the younger children; and the older ones enjoyed surfing. It was relaxing, informal, comfortable. We had our dinners catered (multiple alternatives in the Newport area) and let the four families arrange their own breakfasts and lunches. We hired a photographer, who made excellent use of the beautiful outdoor backgrounds. I recommend it unconditionally.

If I could give the Paradise farmhouse six stars, I would!

We rented the farmhouse for three nights to accommodate extended family during our son's wedding weekend in Newport. We had 13 people in the house and it was VERY comfortable - definitely did not feel crowded. We used the grill and the outdoor porch, made several meals for 13+ people in the kitchen, took walks on the trails and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this beautiful place. The views from the house are gorgeous. It is quiet, clean and refreshingly simple. Our son and his groomsmen "got dressed" at the farmhouse and it made for a spectacular photo shoot. There is wifi, and we did not miss having a television - because it gave us more family time. Jeannie was very helpful and responsive if/when we had questions. This was beyond excellent for our family. We hope to return.

Paradise Farmhouse is a part of Norman Bird Sanctuary, a private nonprofit organization that maintains the largest open space area in Newport County. Established in 1949 at the bequest of Mabel Norman Cerio, the Norman Bird Sanctuary, under the charge of her will, was to maintain the land “for the propagation, preservation, and protection of birds, and where birds and bird life may be observed, studied, taught, and enjoyed by lovers of nature and by the public generally so interested in a spirit of humanity and mercy.”

NBS is a mature nonprofit that has maintained steady growth throughout its history. Over the years, NBS has grown to include more than 325 acres of diverse habitats, and its mission remains true to Mabel Norman Cerio’s original vision. The Sanctuary is a community organization that has impacted the quality of life on Aquidneck Island and across the state for over sixty years.
