The property was exactly what we wanted. It was in close proximity to the beach, had all we needed for a comfortable stay, and was in great condition. Also, the State Park Pass was a terrific extra feature. We have visited Harbor Island many times for our summer vacations and think it is a wonderful place. We hope to return to this property for our next visit.

Early Beach Season

We enjoyed the property ver much. We love history and the beach. This area provides both in a quiet serne atmosphere. Beautiful weather as well.

Good value for the money

Clean , close to the ocean but not oceanfront, thoughtful touches , comfortable king bed, perfect for a couple but tight for a family. The complex is dated, grounds well maintained, in need of repainting and caulking , if someone is above you it’s very noisy.

Perfect getaway

The condo was immaculate and kitchen was completely stocked. Everything a cook could possibly want (even down to disposable containers to pack up your leftovers). The community grill was convenient and visible from the porch and LR. Short walk to the beach boardwalk and the view overlooking the marsh was peaceful. Not sure if it is always so quiet there but it was delightful. We lucked out to sunshine and 78 degrees in February! Walked all over Hunting Island State park and had the best time. Can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful Get-away

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa! The view of the marsh with the ocean and Hunting Island in the distance is beautiful and ever changing. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was one of the best equipped of any place we have stayed! We prepared almost all of our meals for the week at the villa. The pass to Hunting Island is a bonus you don't get with most Harbor Island rentals! The only thing I would mention that wasn't perfect... you can sometimes hear noise from the upstairs unit, such as heavy walking, but that's something the villa owners have no control over. We would definitely rent this place again!

Beach Access = Primary Reason

When we arrived, we were so impressed with the proximity to the beach/ boardwalk! The beach was also so great-not too packed and saw so many Pelicans over at Pelican point which was fun to watch from afar. Downsides- everything inside was covered in dust (night stands, night stand lamps, dresser). I wiped it down myself. There is also a sink in the master bedroom which you can’t tell from the photos that it is in the bedroom (wasn’t a huge problem for me, the other 1/2 bath looks recently done). Also, if you are taller than 6ft, the shower head will be difficult to use as it is very short and doesn’t have a removable arm. I would also bring your own towels, the ones they had there did not smell good. The proximity to the beach is amazing, and the overall price of the place is worth it!! There are lots of places to stay on this island, drive to Beaufort was about 25-30 min. Closest gas station is about 15 min, so pack up before you come! We definitely had a great time and relaxed. We really enjoyed the pool at the club as well, but the food available for purchase there was out of personal crockpots… Overall the place has some quirks but I would recommend!

Wonderful first floor condo

We have returned to Harbor Island several times. This condo was pretty perfect for us. We love to go to Hunting Island State Park. We love the beach and the free pass that you all provide. Very well stocked kitchen and we just cannot say anything negative about this condo. We will stay here again. Highly recommend Seaside restaurant and picking fresh strawberries at Dempsey Farms.

Escape from northeast snow

Nicely furnished and comfortable for 2. Beach walks are wonderful. We always feel safe and secure here. Even saw an alligator in an inlet here. Beaufort is one of our favorite towns with so much to offer.

Harbor Island At Its Best

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving week at this property, near to our family in Beaufort. The condo served us well. It was just right for two people, and was well maintained and attractively decorated. We would be delighted to return next year if we were to celebrate with family again for the holiday.

Great property

This was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. Close to Hunting Island State Park, and a short drive to Beaufort waterfront. Great view of the marsh. Highly reccomend.

Great location, Great view! I love this villa!

This 1 BR villa is first floor, so only a few steps up from parking immediately in front, Multiple trips to carry in those groceries and belongings are no problem. You are just a minute’s walk to the beach boardwalk, and can take advantage of a hose and shower head to clean off sandy feet and beach toys on your way back. This villa has an unobstructed view of the marsh leading out to the Atlantic. It can be seen from the kitchen through the pass-through to the living room, and through the "back" porch. The king bed is comfortable, the linens are good quality, and there's a well equipped kitchen including W/D. Good A/C, good Wi-Fi. Quick response from owners. Thank you!! We’re looking forward to our next stay!

Relaxing

We had a wonderful one month stay in this unit. Bed is comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Short walk to the beach or the pool. It was our first time in this area and we loved exploring. Historic Beaufort is a treat. Can't wait to return.

Aside from the obvious; the sun, quiet beaches, local amenities, great fishing and golf. The very first time we stepped foot on Harbor Island we encountered many turtle nests! What's not to love about Harbor Island?!

Relax, relax, relax....Life is good when you can start your day off watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee, relax on the beach while watching the local wildlife, cook up some fresh local seafood for dinner and end your day with a glass of wine listening to the breeze rustling through the palm trees while sitting on the bungalow's back deck.
Really, does it get any better than that?
