Gulf Shores Plantation Resort, uno de los mejores lugares de la región, agradable durante todas las estaciones, de enero a diciembre.

Situado a 12 millas de distancia de Gulf Shores en la tranquilidad de la península de Fort Morgan, el complejo cerrado de 40 acres ofrece 5000 pies de playa privada en el Golfo de México, seis piscinas al aire libre, una gran piscina cubierta climatizada con sauna, baño de vapor, bañeras de hidromasaje y sala de ejercicios.

¡Se incluyen varias canchas de tenis y voleibol, putting greens y salas de juegos para niños y zona de barbacoa!

El campo de golf de 18 hoyos Kiva Dunes está a pocos metros de distancia. La pesca es excelente, ya sea directamente en el golfo o al otro lado de la calle en Mobile Bay.

Nuestro condominio de dos dormitorios y dos baños está situado en el tercer piso superior. Ofrece una hermosa vista y no hay necesidad de ponerse los zapatos: puede caminar desde nuestra puerta por el pasillo directamente a la maravillosa playa, las piscinas o la piscina cubierta, sauna, ¡todo a solo unos metros de distancia!

El dormitorio principal y el segundo tienen camas extra grandes. Para invitados adicionales, la sala de estar tiene un sofá cama doble. Tenemos un gran televisor de pantalla plana en la sala de estar y otro televisor en el dormitorio principal. Ambos televisores tienen reproductores de CD.


La cocina totalmente equipada se abre al comedor y cuenta con electrodomésticos nuevos. Tener una lavadora y secadora en la unidad aumenta su comodidad y conveniencia.

This is our third time in 3 years staying on the property. ( different facility each time) and we've loved it each time. Absolutely love how laid-back it is, the beaches are clean and not overcrowded, the sassy bass has great food, and we love how close to the ft morgan fishing beach it is, its aslo a short drive into the actual ft at ft morgan. Overall its a great place and would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the hustle of the world.

The heated pool is not warm at all infact the room that it is in is heated but not the water in the pool. It was in the mid 50s outside and the water in the "heated" pool was not approximately 70deg. The room it is on was approximately 75 deg f. We could not use the heated pool because it was easy too cold. Many complaints from other vacationers as well.

Lovely Location

We had a wonderful stay. Wish the laundry machine was in the unit and wasn’t coin operated. Loved being so close to the beach and so many pool options.

From start to finish this property & condo pleasantly surprised me! Check in was super easy, was sent instructions and code to the door a couple days before literally showed up a little after 4 typed in code went right in. Condo was just as pictured and described was plenty big enough for me, my husband, my mom and our 2 kiddos 6 & 9. Air conditioner in condo worked amazing, the heat and humidity outside the week we was there was crazy but it stayed really comfortable in the condo. Condo was very well maintained and clean as was the entire property itself, dumpsters for trash was easily accessible. Easy beach access and kids really loved the huge pool. Very laid back and probably one of the most stress free vacation we have ever taken. Was our first time to the area but will be back for sure! Condo is about a 20 minute drive to get to most of the shopping and food locations, which we didn’t mind.

Location, location, location

The location at this property is ideal. Private beach, tucked away gems of restaurants, sunrise/sunset visible from outside condo at one end or other of outdoor walkway railing. Lovely scenic drive back and forth to public beach area with touristy attractions. Clean, well-stocked. Washers/dryers only use quarters. Bring rolls with you. They’re hard to get locally. Sassy’s and Southern Grind are our favorites. Enjoy!

Great resort and condo

This listing had everything you could need and more! The beach was beautiful and had lounges with umbrellas for rent by the day or week. There is an adults only pool that was nice to have since we had no children with us on the visit.The onsite restaurant was pricey but the food was excellent! The kitchen in the condo was fully stocked with anything you could need. We had plenty of towels and bedding for our stay. The living area only had room for 4 average sized adults, we had two men over 6’4 so it was a tight fit if we all wanted to watch tv but we didn’t do much of that so it was no big deal to us. We were very happy that this unit had two king beds which is very hard to find! We had a great time here and hope to stay here again next year!!

Peace and Quiet

We have stayed on the Plantation twice now. I would say before a holiday and after a holiday this would be a great time to stay. We left two days before Memorial Day early Saturday. When we left the parking lot went from mostly empty Friday night to almost full Saturday morning. The main pool was out of commission and had been out of commission for several months talking to a resident. It was supposed to be back in service in April, but as of Memorial Day, it was still not operating. A major disappointment here.

Thank you very much for your review! We are really glad that you have enjoyed your stay at our condo. The delayed opening of the pool was disappointing for us as well and we felt bad that you experienced that. The pool was completely remodeled and required a lot of special materials which were often delivered later than planned. However, the good news is that the pool finally opened and looks great, ready for your next vacation!

Family vacation

We really like the resort. We have always stayed here in the past. We like being away from the noise and crowds of Gulf Shores. You will have to drive everyday if you want to go out and get anything. We just wished the water was warmer. We will visit the resort again next year.

Great area to stay!

The weather and area were great the week of August 27-September 3. The availability of pools, restrooms and having an ice machine available on the grounds was great! It was a bit further from Gulf Shores than expected but we did adjust after a few trips back and forth! You are going to want to allow a 15-20 minute drive into Walmart or anywhere to eat dinner! The size of the condo was manageable for us and another couple however the cleaning staff just cleans minimally—- hand prints and smudges were on the backside of the main door into the condo, the floor needed a good sweeping and it wasn’t sandy it was just dust and hair, the mirror, TV, and sliding glass door all had smudges and handprints as well! We had to cover the furniture with sheets that were for the fold out bed/sofa because the fabric just felt dirty. The beds were uncomfortable. There are a few things that could be updated within the condo— furniture in living room, beds in both rooms along with bedding/pillows, ceiling fan in master bedroom and outlets. We had to hold in the plugs of our blow dryer—either ours we brought or the one that was supplied in the condo.

Great Fort Morgan condo

We had a wonderful time in Fort Morgan. The condo was just as described and full of amenities, several pools, hot tub, workout facilities, restaurant, beach chair and umbrella rentals to name a few. The beach was a short walk away. We stayed in middle May so it was kinda quiet, which was nice. Would definitely come back.

Finally! Worth the wait!

We had to reschedule a couple of times due to COVID issues, but Pia was very nice and accommodating and we finally got to enjoy our vacation to the Gulf Shores area. Very neat and clean unit, although smaller than normal for a 2/2. Worked fine for the 2 of us. Some construction noise repairing the next building, but was not too bad. Beautiful pool and gulf beach!

You won't regret it

Before leaving for this trip I tried to cancel due to Tropical Storm Cristobal, but I am so glad we were unable to do so. This property has plenty of room, the beach is so convenient to the condo, and is well stocked for cooking. I was happy to have a washer/dryer so that today I am returning from vacation with no dirty clothes. The condo is also very affordable. It is a bit of a drive back into town, but it's an easy drive. I like that the beaches aren't as crowded here as if you were in the main part of Gulf Shores. I would come again if possible.

Fantastic location, comfortable stay

This was our second year at The Plantation, and we had a fantastic stay. The location on the beach is excellent, and the condo was comfortable and well appointed. Our owners had clearly taken good care of the property.

Relaxing Stay

The communication before the stay was always informative and prompt. The condo was as advertised, comfortable, and cozy. The owner provided a nice selection of utensils and cook ware for the kitchen and extra pillows and blankets for the beds. Overall nice stay, would stay again.

Relaxing stay off the beaten path

The condo was lovely and has a well stocked kitchen, DVD's, Puzzles, and a few buckets etc for the kids which is great! Beds are clean and comfortable also. Any minor issues we had were not enough to impact our stay and Pia was very gracious when we notified her. Minor to us means things like the master bedroom did not lock and we wanted to have a little privacy. The washer/dryer is ok. It will dry about 1/2 of what you wash. So, it's easier to use the driers by the pool. Those do take credit cards. It's primarily populated with the retired crowd and their kids/grandkids so things are calm and generally well kept. I think the pools looked amazing and if it were summer we would have tried them all. The complex itself is closer to Ft Morgan and off the beaten path. If you like to go to restaurants etc, plan on a 20 min drive back into Gulf Shores. That is what we wanted for Spring Break with pre-teens (to avoid the college crowd). There are several pools on the property, but only one outdoor pool is heated during the spring. This was just "ok" because the pool was often crowded and sometimes not quite warm enough to get in. The indoor pool was having trouble with the lights popping out of the wall and they were trying to fix it each time. So, not sure what's up with that. It looks like the complex may be more "alive" in the summer or in its hey-day. There is no towel service, but several bins that look like they are there for guest towels for example. The condo itself was the right size and everything we needed and I would book again or recommend to a friend. The complex itself, make sure ti fits your personality and needs

Great condo!

This condo had everything we needed! Pia was quick to respond to any questions and the condo was exactly as described. The main bedroom could use a new mattress but we managed to sleep okay. Nice quiet area with few people on the beach. Easy walk across the boardwalk and you are there! Area was clean and well kept. Will definitely book again!

Nice place to stay

Condo was clean and beds were comfy. Beach was really pretty. This area is pretty issolated which is good if you like quiet and not crowded beaches. Overall pleased with the stay. Owners are great to work with and quick to respond to questions or issues.
