Relaxing family time at the Smoky Mountains

Cabin was great !! Nice decoration, cozy and with all the we need. For sure I would go back again to the same place.

Garbage and Bears

Inadequate amt of dumpster space caused garbage pileup and a bear problem. Bears spread garbage and were a hazard for us and dog.

Beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful. The kitchen lacked a few things (spatula, salt and pepper, extra trash bags and paper towels, extra dish cloths and dish towels, dish soap). the microwave stopped working, and they fixed it right away. Washer didn't work and they couldn't fix it until after our stay. all they could do for us was tell us where the nearest laundry mat was. We packed according to having a washer and dryer, so this was very very inconvenient. also we could not wash the one dish cloth and towel they provided. However we did have a great stay and enjoyed the property. We would stay there again but would make sure everything worked before hand.

Peaceful

We had a great stay. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the hot tub jets didn’t work and the space for it was tiny with spider webs everywhere. Other than that, the check in process was super easy and the cabin was nice.

Mountain of GARBAGE views (literally)

The first thing we noticed as we pulled into the property was the huge mountain of GARBAGE sitting next to the EMPTY dumpster! I figured maybe it was a busy cleaning day and they would pick it up..... NOPE! The smell gradually got worse, to the point we couldnt even enjoy the porch, balcony and even the pool. I messaged the "help" line and got a generic response but nothing was done. The cabin itself was decent. The master is a loft with no door. Water pressure was good, hot tub was hot when we arrived, there were plenty of bath towels for the 5 of us. If it wasnt for the view and smell of the garbage my review would be higher.

What A/C?

Cons- 78 degrees upon arrival. 82 degrees downstairs & over 90 upstairs. That night. Went to dollar general and bought 3 fans ($120). Just to stay alive. Refrigerator set at 39. Couldn’t change. Front door lock was all jacked up. Sometimes taking 5-8 minutes to lock & remove key. Excessive Dust & food crumbs on floor. Can smell overflowing community dumpster from cabin. Pros - minutes from everything. Nice pool. Hot showers. Good parking. Lots of TVs.

Shower not good, bugs, few maintenance issues and Mountain view is below average

Check in time was 4 PM and We were not revealed the address until the last second at 4 PM. Management was not that polite in sharing us even a tentative time by when the room would be ready which really gave us a scare. Found few bugs on the plant based decorations hanging over the window. Shower head needs replacement. Dryer was not usable due to lint filter being broken . Bedroom light was not working. Hot water was not sufficient for 4 people. Mountain view was not that promising as the description says.

Spacious loft

The cabin was beautiful and the location from the entertainment district was great. Our girls loved having their own personal space up in the loft with their own bathroom. However, it’s right off a busy road and was very noisy at times.

Just ok for a short trip

Downstairs bed is very unstable. This place is not bad, decorated nicely, but could use a good cleaning. Lots of dust on the furniture and dirty appliances. The outside railings and banisters are kind of scary. They move and don’t seem sturdy at all. We didn’t get in the hot tub. The enclosed area that it’s in, is very dirty and has spiders. As far as location, it’s close to town and the attractions but is also so close to the road that you hear everything that goes by. It’s close to the pool but that means that you hear all of that too. I wouldn’t care so much about the noise but when it’s late at night, that can be an issue for some. These are things that I wish I had known before I rented.

I Will Remember This Amazing Stay

Breathtaking views and came stocked with the things you need away from home. Perfect location many attractions and extra things you may need to buy. The WiFi was ok but got better reception from my AT&T 5G. A couple trash cans were not completely empty and there were a few signs of the last person who stayed there but nothing crazy. I would stay there again and I already miss the cabin.

Cabin 221

The property was beautifully built and the view and location very nice. But I found it difficult not to be given the address until less than two hours before accessing the property, and locking and unlocking the door with the keypad took several tries. Kitchenware was adequate, the beds were comfortable, and the sofa less so. There were several areas where maintenance was required or needed ( a clogged bath drain, refrigerator leak, dirty windows in the doors leading to the balcony, dishwasher door that was very hard to close), but we nevertheless enjoyed our stay.

Cozy convenient getaway

Cleanliness

Renting was convenient. Cabin was ready promptly. It could have been cleaner. Area rug in living room was pretty dirty. The small deck area where hot tub is, was full of leaves. There is a vine growing on the ceiling above the bed in the loft (that may cause problems in the future). Kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The location was pretty good. The pool was great with a beautiful view.

We did not stay at the cabin due to a spike in covid cases

We were not refunded our money or given a chance to stay at a later time when it was safer. My city issued a travel ban to Tennessee 5 days before departure. Aunt Bugs was unwilling to work with us.
