Surroundings
This typical Fischland vacation home, with ten units, is situated in a dream location—right behind the dune and just 50 meters from the white Baltic Sea beach. Thanks to the small side street, you can enjoy peace and relaxation here, away from the bustling main street. The town center, with its shops, restaurants, and cafés, as well as countless art galleries, is also just a stone’s throw away and can be easily explored on foot. A special highlight is the fish market on the beach. Here you can buy fish fresh off the fisherman’s boat right on the beach—provided the wind is blowing at less than three knots.

About the Vacation Rental
This cozy one-room apartment was furnished with new furniture in early 2024. It’s located on the first floor of the house and is decorated in wood and light colors to match the beach. The living and sleeping area features a small seating area, a double bed, a mini-kitchen, and a dining table by floor-to-ceiling windows. The separate bathroom with a shower and toilet is adjacent to the living area.

A small west-facing balcony is also part of the apartment and offers a stunning view of the dunes. Here, you can enjoy your vacation while listening to the sound of the sea and watching breathtaking sunsets. A parking space is included with the vacation rental.

Special Features
There is a communal sauna* in the building that operates with coins.
One token is good for 90 minutes, costs 5 EUR, and is available at the Meerfischland office.

Just a few meters from the fine Baltic Sea beach and situated as the last house before the white sand dunes is the charming thatched-roof vacation complex “Strandhaus Claassen.” The idyllic location, with views of the sea, the dunes, and the picturesque countryside surrounded by traditional thatched-roof cottages, is truly one-of-a-kind. You can’t get any closer to the sea when vacationing in Ahrenshoop. And the town center, with its many cafés, restaurants, art galleries, bakeries, fish shops, and the supermarket, is just a stone’s throw away on foot. It’s the perfect vacation complex for leaving your car behind and exploring all the sights on foot or by bike.

To the vacation complex
There are a total of ten vacation apartments in the complex, all with thatched roofs. Although similarly equipped, the cozy vacation apartments vary in size, capacity, and whether they feature a terrace or balcony with a garden view or the popular ocean view. Inside the building itself, there is a communal sauna with a relaxation room, offering a soothing break from a long walk on the beach—especially during the colder months. Strandhaus Claassen captivates with its traditional Darß-style architecture; just the sight of it radiates the joy of vacation. A stone wall runs around the property, blending harmoniously with the beachfront surroundings. Incidentally, all ten vacation apartments have one thing in common: the melodious sounds made by the sea and the seabirds. It’s the perfect place to unwind from everyday life, enjoy the view of the sea, and let your mind wander.
