Breitbrunn, one of the oldest towns on Lake Chiemsee, is located on the lake’s northern shore, boasting one of the longest stretches of shoreline among all the communities around Lake Chiemsee and a wonderful view across the lake toward the mountains. A beautiful beach area and an extensive network of biking and hiking trails await you. The surrounding countryside also has plenty to offer, such as the Eggstätter Lakes Region and various smaller lakes, as well as numerous monasteries and museums; the Romans and Celts have also left their mark here.
