This unique apartment is individually furnished and extremely charming. When furnishing it, we placed great emphasis on reusing old materials.
The vacation rental is just a 4-minute walk from Borby Beach and offers you a deeply relaxing and cozy stay!
The Accommodation
The apartment stands out for its high standard of living. High-quality materials were used during the complete renovation of a former residential building. From the exterior insulation and thermal insulation system and triple-pane windows to elegant wood-look tiles in every room and integrated radiant floor heating. Even in winter, you no longer have to worry about cold feet.
Great care was also taken with the furnishings to make the vacation apartment as cozy as possible.
The table and bench are each one-of-a-kind pieces that we crafted from 200-year-old wooden floorboards and old cast-iron sewing machines. The bed is also a solid wood bed, 1.40 meters wide, fitted with a comfortable mattress.
Whether you’re here for a short stay or a longer vacation, the kitchen offers every convenience. With all the necessary appliances (refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, oven and glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle), you can confidently prepare a delicious meal right in your “home away from home.” If you don’t feel like cooking, the city center is just a 9-minute walk away, where you can choose from a wide variety of restaurants and snack bars.

Of course, Wi-Fi is available.

You’ll be moving into a brand-new apartment that stands out for its unique design.

Guest Access
This apartment has access to a small terrace where you can enjoy a cozy breakfast or sit together in the evening sun.
Access is via self-check-in using a key box.

Additional Important Information
A mandatory visitor’s tax must be paid for overnight stays in the Baltic Sea resort of Eckernförde. This fee is collected upon arrival and forwarded to the city of Eckernförde.
In return, you will receive the Ostseecard, which offers discounts in Eckernförde.
Travelers staying in Eckernförde for business purposes are exempt from the visitor’s tax.


Due to its proximity to the boat ramp at the Eckernförde Sailing Club and the possibility of parking a trailer (including a boat) on the property, this accommodations are also ideal for anglers.
Tickets for access to the boat ramp can be purchased from me for a fee.
