The Störtebeker has been anchored in Prerow since 1973. Between 2010 and 2013, it underwent a comprehensive and eco-friendly renovation. Sustainable materials such as hemp insulation, clay plaster, and clay wall heating systems were used, ensuring a particularly pleasant indoor climate. In 2017, a sauna was also added; it is accessible via the aft deck and, on clear nights, even offers a view of the starry sky above the Baltic Sea.
The kilometer-long, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach in Prerow is just a few minutes’ walk away. Its unique waterfront location, sustainable construction, and exceptional atmosphere make the Störtebeker a special place to stay on the Darß Peninsula—ideal for anyone looking to experience an extraordinary vacation on the Baltic Sea.
