Guest room Africa - Mühlbachhof

A cozy, comfortably furnished double room with an African flair, also available for booking as a single room. A few safari photos taken by the owner give this guest room a special atmosphere. A small sitting area is perfect for relaxing after a strenuous hike. You can also make yourself a cup of tea there. A kettle and a variety of teas are provided.
The bathroom is tiled in white and equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet. All the essentials for a spontaneous overnight stay—no need to bring a toiletries bag—are provided.
Wi-Fi is, of course, available free of charge.
The room entrance is located directly in the courtyard, with no steps.

Our Mühlbachhof is located in the idyllic village of Berg, on the edge of the Mühlbach Valley in the “Blaues Ländchen”—a place full of peace, nature, and warmth. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and meadows, our farm is the perfect starting point for excursions, hikes, and bike rides.
Experience nature and animals—enjoy freedom
Wonderful hiking and biking trails start right outside our door. Just a 20-minute drive away, the Upper Middle Rhine Valley—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—awaits you with its impressive castles, palaces, and the legendary Loreley. In just 10 minutes, you can reach the romantic Lahn Valley, which enchants visitors with its natural beauty.
Ponies, sheep, and chickens live on our farm. You can buy fresh eggs right here on the farm.
Children can interact with the horses under supervision. You can also book guided horseback rides on our Shetland ponies (max. 25 kg body weight) on-site.
The sheep—Heidi, Holly, and Hannes—always love to be petted. 
Accommodations & Comfort
We offer a lovingly furnished vacation apartment as well as two cozy double rooms—ideal for business travelers, couples, or families.



On-site costs: Payment must be made via advance bank transfer at least 14 days before arrival. Vacation Apartment: Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations made between 14 and 7 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the total cost; cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the total cost.Room: Cancellations up to 5 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations within 5 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the total cost. Check-in is available from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this if necessary. Keys are handed over in person on site. Pets are allowed in the vacation rental for a fee of 25€ per Aufenthalt.In; pets are not permitted in the two guest rooms.Note: Access to the vacation rental is only possible via a very steep staircase. No smoking—there is a strict no-smoking policy throughout the entire property, including our vacation rentals and guest rooms (fire hazard in the hay and straw storage areas)
