Perfectly located apartment on the island and with a great view of the harbour from the sun terrace on the roof! Well furnished and equipped with anything you could need. We would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful yet busy holiday break!

Perfect Lindau Apartment

This is a perfect apartment to stay in when visiting lovely Lindau. The location is superb with easy walking to the station, ferry’s, shops and restaurants. It is extremely well furnished and supplied but the best thing about it is the owner, Michael, who was the perfect host. Do take his recommendations for cafes, restaurants and activities which were all wonderful. Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment with perfect location

The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you could possibly want. We cooked in the apartment once and appreciated having oils and spices. There was lots of useful information on things to do in the area and Michael recommended a restaurant that was so good we ate there 2 nights. Lindau island is beautiful and the perfect place to wander and sit outside cafes watching the world go by! We'd love to return one day and we would stay in the apartment again.

Great apartment, great location, great hosts

This is a lovely, comfortable, and well equipped apartment in the heart of Lindau. Michael and Susanne have paid so much attention to detail that every corner you turn and every door you open is a new adventure. Michael is an excellent source of information about the area and his suggestions should not be overlooked. If we could have changed anything about our stay in Lindau it would have been the weather and a longer stay. My husband and I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful town and this accommodation would be hard to beat. Lynda and Jim

Great discovery

Wonderful little apartment - spotlessly clean and so comfortably and tastefully furnished that it feels like home. We were there for 3 months and could have stayed longer. The location is perfect - right in the heart of the island next to the Town Hall and main street (no traffic) and 130 yards from the small port with its cafes and spectacular views. The island itself is a vibrant place with its cobblestone streets and unspoilt medieval architecture. Michael and Susanne are wonderful hosts - generous and hospitable. They run their cheese and wine shop nearby and are full of information about the area. We had great conversations with them and hope to return again one day. Great experience - highly recommend a visit.

Fabulous 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Lindau on shire of Lake Constance.

We chose Lindau for a weeks downtime between a walking and then bike tour. If you like the outdoors this a lovely area to spend time and Michael & Susannes 3rd floor apartment provides everything you need. We were able to catch up with the laundry and prepare a couple of homemade meals. The apartment comes with access to a lovely rooftop space up 2 flights of stairs from the apartment. There is hardly any traffic noise and only minimal noise at night from restaurants in the lane below. Above all Michael was extremely helpful in providing excellent tips on things to do in Lindau and beyond.

Location Location Location

2 adults spent 4 amazing nights at the inselgluck. You cannot beat the location- so close to everything and it really felt like we we living like the locals. Michael & Sussane have thought of everything. Kitchen has everything you need and we enjoyed evenings on the rooftop with a glass of wine. There is so much to do nearby - the book in the apartment gives great suggestions. We loved the scenic bike ride around Lindau, pfander, trip to Zeppelin & Meersburg. There are also plenty of museums and beautiful buildings all around. This is a hidden gem! The apartment is on the 3rd floor with stairs (no elevator) so some may not be able to manage them. Communication and directions from Michael were great. Thanks again for sharing your paradise.

A Great Break on the Island

We had a great time on Lindau Insel and Michael and Susanne's apartment is an ideal base. The flat is extremely well appointed with everything (and more) that you would need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen which is packed with crockery, cutlery and utensils plus washer and dishwasher. Newly refrubished bathroom and nice living room with CD, DVD and TV. Bedroom also good. The roof terrace is a great place to sit with a drink and look at the views. Michael and Susanne could not have been more helpful with directions and tips on things to do. We explored Lindau, Bregenz and Friedrichshafen. We also discovered the Furst weinerei at Nonnenhorn, which has some lovely wines. Lindau Insel itself was a joy and sitting with a cold beer in one of the bars on the harbour or a coffee from Hensler on Markplatz were great ways to pass the time. We will hopefully return at some point. Roger Adey

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf der Insel. Die Wohnung liegt mittendrin, von dort lässt sich alles zu Fuß erreichen. Die Ausstattung ist prima- alles, was man täglich braucht. Michaels Tipps zur Insel waren eine Bereicherung!

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, ist super-geschnitten, bietet eine vollkommen eingerichtete Küche, in der man auch sehr gut mal zu hause kochen kann. Sehr viel Stauraum vorhanden, auch mal ausreichend Bügel in den Schränken. Zusätzlich eine Gardrobe und einen Schuhschrank.Die zur Wohnung gehörende Dachterrasse ist das Tüpfelchen auf dem I. Mit tollem Ausblick über die Stadt und auf den See und die Berge. Der Gastgeber hat uns persönlich und sehr freundlich empfangen und so hatte man auch die Gelegenheit noch einige persönliche Tips zu erhalten. Wir komme gerne wieder!!!

Unser Gastgeber Michael hat uns freundlich und sehr persönlich am „Inselglück“ in Empfang genommen und uns mit einigen nützlichen Tipps zu Erkundungen in und um Lindau versorgt. Die Wohnung ist gut und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und hat uns trotz oder vielleicht gerade wegen der sehr zentralen Lage eine entspannte Woche in der angenehmen Atmosphäre Lindaus ermöglicht.Die unmittelbare Nähe zum Hafen macht den Besuch der Bregenzer Seebühne sehr komfortabel. Das „Gesamtpaket Inselglück“ können wir absolut weiterempfehlen!

Tolle Wohnung mit wunderschöner Dachterasse

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung"Inselglück". Der Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und gab uns viele Tipps und Empfehlungen für verschiedenste Aktivitäten in und um Lindau herum.Die Ausstattungen der Wohnung lässt nichts zu wünschen ubrig.

Lage!Lage!Lage!

Sehr liebevoll im maritimen Stil gestaltete, geräumige FeWo. Perfekte Ausstattung incl. Bademäntel, Waschmaschine und wirklich allem, was man braucht. Mittendrin und doch ganz ruhig. Da nimmt man die dritte Etage ohne Aufzug gern in Kauf. Ich komme gern wieder.

Kleine Auszeit

Ich durfte ein wunderschönes verlängertes Wochenende im "Inselglück" verbringen und habe mich einfach nur wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt so toll, dass man direkt im Geschehen ist und in zwei Schritten am See ;) Ich war zur Zeit der Lindauer Hafenweihnacht dort und hatte den Christkindlmarkt quasi vor der Haustüre, was sehr praktisch war. Alles hat prima geklappt, von der Anreise übers Parken und auch bei checkout war es toll organisiert. Die Wohnug war sehr nett und einladend hergerichtet bei meiner Ankunft, so dass ich mich sofort "daheim" gefühlt habe. Ich werde ganz sicher wiederkommen, vielen Dank an Michael und Susanne!!!
