The Accommodation
*Räuberhöhle Apartment in the Witch’s House*

Not really suitable for tall, heavy people due to the low ceiling height, especially in the shower—please ask if you’re unsure.
Equipped with everything you need—and it’s got charm.
The “Räuberhöhle im Hexenhaus” apartment is located in Weilerbach, a small town with just under 5,000 residents—manageable in size but still offering excellent infrastructure, surrounded by fields and forests.
The apartment itself features an approximately 18-square-meter living/sleeping area, a small, separate shower/bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Two people can sleep comfortably in the 180x200 bed.
It also features a small sun terrace in front of the entrance and a larger outdoor seating area with kitchen herbs and grapevines (depending on the season).
Restrictions:
We want to be transparent and fair, so please read this carefully and refer back to it if necessary—thank you.
-The doorways in the apartment, especially the one leading to the bathroom, are lower than what you’re used to—taller and heavier guests may find them somewhat restrictive.
-Likewise, due to its location on the 1st floor and the long staircase, the apartment is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
-The apartment is located on the first floor of an annex—you’ll be sharing the annex with the “Hexenhaus Apartment,” which is also listed on Airbnb and available for rent. Due to the building’s design, the apartments are not suitable for party guests, as you might disturb the residents of the other apartments.
-The front door has a special locking mechanism. To lock the door, you must first press the door handle upward once. This may take some getting used to.
The nearest outdoor pool is a 5-minute drive away, and there’s an Italian restaurant about a 5-minute walk away.
Kaiserslautern, a small city, is just a 10-minute drive away (with bus service every 30 minutes) .
It’s about a 15-minute drive to the edge of the “Pfälzer Wald” forest. The wonderful Gelterwoog (a great swimming lake with a small sandy beach) and the Bärenloch in Kindsbach (a small forest pond—free admission and refreshments) are each a 20-minute drive away.
Both swimming lakes are surrounded by hiking trails.
