Villa Nerea is a small and charming property located in a quiet neighborhood of Los Narejos, just a 3-minute walk from the restaurants on Oasis Bulevar and a 12-minute walk from the bars and restaurants at 525 Plaza in Los Alcazares. The beaches of Mar Menos are a 20-minute walk away.
The property features a private pool, a private rooftop solarium, and a large, shaded patio.
There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a smaller second bedroom with bunk beds suitable for adults or children. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher. The living area features a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with internet access—including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more—along with comfortable seating.
The pool measures 6 m x 3.5 m and features steps and seating areas. The deepest point is 1.6 m and the shallow end is 1.2 m. Around the pool, there is space to relax on lounge chairs. There is a shower to cool off; Villa Nerea is undoubtedly a relaxing vacation home year-round.
The solarium is accessible from the rear terrace of the property. The back terrace seats 4 people. The large awning provides protection from excessive sun. This is a lovely spot for evening barbecues or for enjoying the sunset on the rooftop terrace.

Los Alcazares is a little gem. You can walk along the waterfront promenade for about 7 km from one end to the other. There are bars and cafés along the way, so you’ll never go thirsty or hungry! In the evenings, there are dozens of restaurants and bars at 525 Plaza, on Oasis Bulevar, and in the Old Town. During the summer months (May through September), take the El Habanero Tren Turistico train from 525 Plaza to the Old Town and back for just a few euros.
Los Alcazares is worth a visit all year round. There are a number of festivals you can attend—Easter, the Semana Internacional de la Huerta y el Mar (the Festival of Orchards and the Sea) in August, and a major festival in late October—El Caldero. Cartagena has hosted an annual jazz festival in November for more than 35 years. Los Alcazares has lovely markets that you can visit on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
There are plenty of outdoor activities—tennis, paddle tennis, windsurfing, kitesurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, cycling (bike rentals available in town), and hiking—you can do all of these things right here in Los Alcazares. There are several golf courses near Los Alcazares. Las Colinas was voted the best golf and country club in Spain, and all golfers will be familiar with La Manga, which is a 20-minute drive away. Some golf courses are located in Roda and Serena, in the area surrounding Los Alcázares.

If you’d like to go shopping, La Zenia Boulevard—Europe’s largest open-air shopping center—is just a 15-minute drive back toward Alicante. You can reach Cartagena in 15 minutes by car. A Roman city brimming with culture and sophistication—be sure to visit the amphitheater and the beautiful downtown area. If you prefer a mud bath for your complexion, the northern part of the Mar Menor is world-famous for its nutrient-rich mud—many people visit, and it makes for a hilarious day—and it’s just 10 minutes from the coast of Los Alcázares!
Do I need a car? Absolutely not; there’s plenty you can do without one., However, if you rent a car from either the Alicante or Murcia airports, you’ll have greater access to areas further inland or along the coast, though it’s not strictly necessary. Los Alcázares (and the house) are just a 20-minute taxi ride from Murcia International Airport (Corvera), where Jet2, EasyJet, and Ryanair operate flights from many international and regional airports in the UK. Alicante Airport is an easy 50-minute drive on the AP7; all of the airlines mentioned above fly there, as well as many others from European countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden.
