Hiking & Mountaineering: The Chiemgau and Bavarian Pre-Alps are right on your doorstep. Discover popular destinations such as the Wendelstein (accessible by cogwheel train or aerial cableway) or the Kampenwand with its breathtaking panoramic views. The trail network offers everything from leisurely alpine pasture hikes to challenging summit tours.

Chiemsee—The Bavarian Sea: As Bavaria’s largest lake, it’s a must-see! It offers not only great swimming opportunities but also sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and the famous islands of Herrenchiemsee (with King Ludwig’s castle) and Frauenchiemsee.
