En un camino menos transitado, este retiro privado de montaña de Catskill está a solo minutos de esquí, senderismo, pesca, natación, restaurantes, clubes, paseos en bote, tubos, etc.

A solo dos horas y media de la ciudad de Nueva York, a ocho millas de las estaciones de esquí Hunter y Windham y a 18 millas de la estación de esquí Belleayre, esta casa se encuentra en la ubicación correcta. Fun Catskills Visit

Nice property with plenty of amenities to host us and our two grandsons. Comfortable beds. Pool table and air hockey table in the basement were very popular. Pretty well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was nice but most of the jets weren’t working. Quiet setting but close to Prattsville and Hunter. We had a nice stay.

Great stay

Rick was super nice and easy to get in contact with. Everything went super smooth! The house is great and was clean when we arrived and the kitchen is full of cooking equipment.

Perfect base for ski weekend

The house was clean and cozy and a perfect base camp for a weekend of skiing at belleayre. It’s about 20 min from the mountain and had a cozy couch to relax and watch a movie on after a day on the slopes with kids.

Super fun, kids loved the game area

Kids (6, 8, 15) loved the game room, hot tub was great, and it was clean and well kept. We did have trouble figuring out the door but thats about it. Owner is very good with communication. Totally recommend it!

Perfect Getaway

Great Location for Ski Trip

An amazing place to stay for a ski trip. The house is close to both Windham and Hunter Mtn (about 15-20 min to either). Rick was super responsive and the house had everything to make our stay comfortable!

Was perfect for kids of all ages. Well kept, clean, organized. Gorgeous property. Owner, Rick, was available throughout our stay for any questions, and knowledgeable about the area. Our stay was nothing short of amazing with a perfect place to stay for our family! We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Cozy Clean mountain House

This house was the cleanest house I have rented. It made my husband and I feel right at home. There were plenty of seating areas inside and out. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Rick was a great host and very communicative.

Mini - moon stay

We loved our stay at Ricks place! We went after our wedding to get away and unwind for a couple days. The house was great! Lovely view, hot tub, plenty of space and things to do. It was exactly what we needed and wanted. We were sad to leave and were talking immediately about when we could return to take advantage of the location since we didn’t do much exploring this stay

Amazing getaway from it all with spectacular views and lots of stuff to do and relax

This way an amazing getaway to chase last snow of the season. The place is secluded and close enough to everything. You don’t event have to leave the place if you want - you have a huge terrace with a beautiful Mountain Views, hot tub, jacuzzi, games, grill and welcoming home inside. We will be back in no time ti explore spring and summer in Catskills.

Peaceful location to relax

Peaceful relaxing stay in a beautiful area with all the amenities you need , This place had Everything!!! TV in every room, Alexa to play music, Hi speed internet, games , Hot tub , deck with lots of chairs and even a grilling table , fully stocked kitchen , condiments, I could go on and on ! Books Dvds you get the idea . Definitely the best Vacation rental in the Catskills ! Love this house and will definitely stay again even had a Frog Pond

Very relaxing

Location was great, lot's of ski resorts close by. Communication with Rick was great. Bedrooms were just a little small, with no closets. But the hot tub & comfy couch, & large dining table for puzzles & games & dining was great. Plus the basement game room was a bonus.

Fun Birthday

We went just for the 3 day weekend. Our host was nice enough to set up a birthday surprise. Complete with table cloth, signs and other fun stuff. Sadly it rained the whole time. But luckily we still enjoyed the hot tub and the other fun games and activities available at the house. We also drove through the countryside and admired the changing leaves and the nearby falls. The brewpub up the road was wonderful too. With live music and a roasting fire. Even our pup was welcome. Turned out to be a lovely weekend despite the weather.

The door to the basement was broken at the hinge that made going in and out of the basement challenging. There is a window IN the shower. The hot tub did not have lights that we could find. Overall just an eh stay

Nice holiday getaway in the Catskills

This place was nice and well stocked. We enjoyed our 4 days there recently for the purpose of a ski vacation. The only things I would say is that the basement, which has great games, is really a garage in the process of being refinished, not a finished basement. Somehow I did not realize this when booking. The other thing is that it about 20 minutes from the nearest gas station/store so if you run out of anything it is not a quick trip to pick anything up. The hot tub was great though and made the place totally worth it.

It was an overall positive experience, but it came with several negatives

It's a nice house, but, during our stay, we experienced a couple of issues: the hot tub took too long to heat up, and it cooled back down after just a half an hour of use, making the hot tub unusable; there were cobwebs in the kitchen; and the garbage canister outside the house was full, and we couldn't put our garbage in it. Fortunately, the owner was very accessible via phone--during New Year's weekend nonetheless--and helpful with resolving the issues, but I found it annoying to have to call the owner several times to report issues with the house. Additionally, the property owner left an old refrigerator next to the new one in the kitchen that made it difficult to go in and out of the back door where the hot tub was located. The owner told us that the refrigerator would eventually be removed, but I found it unacceptable that, considering how much we paid for the house, we had to deal with such a nuisance. The owner is very nice, and I'm sure will be dealing with these issues soon. I encourage anyone looking into a place near Hunter Mountain to explore this house and reach out to the owner about these issues, if they are a concern for you. I would also like to note that, in hindsight, we would have preferred to stay closer to the Hunter so that food shopping, restaurants, and Hunter Mountain were a little more accessible.

Great Holiday Getaway

This home was perfect for our family weekend trip. It was clean, had plenty of room for us, and was conveniently-located close to Hunter Mountain and local restaurants. Rick was easy to get in touch with and was very responsive. The family especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub as the snow fell.

Perfect stay

We stay at this property every year. It’s in a perfect private location and has a hot tub. We brought our dog so the enclosed deck was perfect. Hunter only 15 minutes away and hiking and west kill brewery not too far down the road. The house is spacious and clean we will be back next year!
