You live in a holiday home completely renovated and modernised in 2016 with separate bedroom, large living-dining-kitchen with additional usable fireplace, bathroom (WC) and anteroom of approx. 70 m². The garden is located directly behind the house. Our holiday home is located in the climatic health resort of Carlsfeld at 848 m above sea level in a quiet yet central location, ideal for 4 to 5 people. Our non-smoking house has a fitted kitchen (large ceramic hob, large fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle), satellite TV, DVD, CD radio, lockable bicycle and ski storage, charcoal grill, outdoor seating area, cot, high chair, children's toys, board games. Location:The holiday home is located in Carlsfeld, one of the most beautiful places in the upper Erzgebirge, which is also considered the most snow-sure. It is located directly on the high cross-country ski trail and has direct access to the Kammloipe. The Vogtland, Eibenstock, the Auersberg and Johanngeorgenstadt, with a motorway border crossing to the Czech Republic, are all within 10 km of the holiday home. The municipality of Carlsfeld lies between 840 and 920 metres above sea level in a hollow of the West Erzgebirge ridge landscape. It is located directly on the border with the Czech Republic and the Vogtland region. Due to its geographical location, Carlsfeld is one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Free State of Saxony. guests can enjoy 50 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, a 400-metre double drag lift with snowmaking facilities on the floodlit ski slope and a ski school. The annual ski carnival is an exuberant event. A small ski museum provides insights into the origins of "Schneeschuh" and the history of skiing in Carlsfeld. In summer, well-marked cycle and hiking trails reveal the rugged charm of the tranquil landscape. Cosy inns invite you to linger. The Trinitatis Church - the oldest sacred circular building in Saxony - is a well-known sight, and since 1930 the highest drinking water reservoir in Germany has been located in the former forest settlement of Weiterswiese.
