There is a cool and dry atmosphere, pleasant in the summer nights.LANDSCAPE AND VEGETATION A forest area is around the property, covered with maple trees, oak, wild pistachio, almond trees, shrubs and aromatic plants such as oregano and thyme. There are no commercial farming activities, no greenhouses, vegetable crops, fruit tree plantations or olive trees cultivations - it is unspoiled nature. Walking options range from gentle strolls through the nearby villages of Amygdalia, Pigadi and Peleta to more energetic hiking along the old shepherd paths to the beaches of Poulithra and Fokianos.The location also provides a very good base for road cycling along quiet roads in excellent condition with best of both mountainous terrain and coastal riding. MORPHOLOGICAL CARACTERISTICS - after a recent restoration the houses retain their main morphological traditional characteristics; the stone walls, the fireplace and their typical local Arcadian architecture.
