In a hamlet, a veritable balcony overlooking the sea at an altitude of 450 m, facing the Italian islands of Elba and Montechristo; large village house co-owned with another family, 20 minutes from the beach.A haven of peace and greenery in the heart of a Corsica different from the major tourist sites, the Castagniccia, ferns, chestnut trees, waterfalls, rivers, paths, free-roaming animals, etc.This house is on 3 levels.REDUCED RATE after 15 daysThis 3-storey house is co-owned with another family whose apartment is on the second floor.The flat is on the 2nd floor, only the entrance is shared, our neighbours only come for a month in the summer but there are no problems with neighbours and you can also enjoy a stay on your own.We can provide sheets, bath and beach towels etc... The house is very well equipped.For outside also tables, chairs and deckchairs, barbecue, parasol etc. ...It is a small hamlet, little inhabited in winter, a little more crowded in summer, no car access to the house!The car park is 60 m away, and there are no cars in the village.It's a very old Corsican house, a family heirloom, authentic and full of charm, furnished and decorated with all its family souvenirs and those we've found. But you will also find all the comforts of today, although this house still has its requirements: staircases, several levels, you can sleep 9 people or more, but the living rooms are small, as in many old Corsican buildings.)Pets are allowed.Terrace overlooking the village with sea view. It is lit in the evening and there are many candles and candle-holders to create a warm atmosphere.Walks depart from the house, either on the road, which is not very busy, or on signposted footpaths.In the house you'll find lots of guides to Corsica and magazines to help you find your way around. There's a whole range of Corsican literature too, from novels to comics, books on Corsican history, traditions and recipes. There's also a notebook with everything you need to find your way around the house, restaurants, shops, places, beaches and visits we recommend.Also at your disposal for the beach, games for children, parasol, masks, hats, flippers and beach blankets. This 3-storey house is co-owned with another family whose apartment is on the second floor.The flat is on the 2nd floor, only the entrance is shared. Our neighbours only come for a month in the summer, but there are no problems with neighbours and you can also enjoy a stay on your own.There are 4 double bedrooms.The first bedroom has a double bed (140cm) and a bathroom on the 1st floor.Then you have access to the living areas: dining room with a very large table, kitchen and lounge where you can also eat. Sofas for relaxing.Then, on the 3rd and top floor, there is a large lounge with 3 bedroomsbed 140 with bathroom WC , another possibility of sleeping in 120 in the living room. All the rooms are very bright.2 bedrooms have an extraordinary view of the sea and the Italian islands. A sight to behold at all times.The other bedroom has a mountain view.You are 450 m from the house and benefit from the coolness, even though the sea is only 8 km away! The roads are magnificent but remain Corsican mountain roads, climbing through chestnut trees and ferns. There are many walks from the house where you will come across rivers and waterfalls where you can swim.We have itinerant traders, the "tragulinis" in Corsica, who still pass through the various villages, small shopkeepers and butchers. And at the bottom of the village, 50 m away, there is a small integration company to which land has been lent and where you will find all the seasonal and organic vegetables every morning.In the next village, 2 km away (a very pretty walk), a baker has taken over the communal oven and bakes a variety of organic breads and delicious biscuits.
