Naundorf is part of the municipality of Struppen and is located in the centre of Saxon Switzerland.The holiday home at the Bärenstein for two to eight people has been lovingly renovated with a total living space of more than 140 m². On the ground floor there is a large entrance area with a sitting area, a large bathroom with two showers, two washbasins and WC, as well as a 55 m² living room with kitchen, wood-burning stove, large dining table, a bar and a cosy sofa corner. The kitchen is also equipped with a 4-burner ceramic hob with oven, large fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. The living room has a TV, DVD player, radio and CD player as well as a DSL 6000 wifi internet connection and a wood-burning stove. The entire house has central heating. The lower part of the house is also equipped with underfloor heating. The central heating is included. Firewood at purchase price. On the top floor there are two 2-bed rooms, one 4-bed room and a toilet. There are a total of three bedrooms available.The holiday home has a terrace with barbecue area and approx. 200 m² of lawn, which offers plenty of space for the children to run around.The holiday home is suitable for larger families, families with friends and holidays with four-legged friends (who are expressly welcome). Landlord does not live on site. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep due to the construction. This is a non-smoking holiday home and pets are welcome. A sauna is available in the large bathroom. The sauna can be booked on site per day.The Malerweg trail leads directly past the house. The Königstein Fortress, the town of Wehlen, the spa town of Rathen and the beautiful Renaissance town of Pirna are in the immediate vicinity. A special attraction is the Robert-Sterl-Haus. The famous painter lived and worked here and is now commemorated by a small exhibition. There are also two restaurants in the town itself. Sports options in the area include hiking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking and boat trips. This house is also suitable for a family holiday with culture and sightseeing, a hiking and climbing holiday or a holiday with pets. The city of Dresden is 25 km away and the nearest railway station Wehlen and landing stage for the paddle steamer fleet is approx. 1.5 km away. Ascent via the 110-metre-high foot slope and a 70-metre-high set of steps to a heavily disintegrated summit plateau, which reveals the remains of a 14th century castle complex. The Lilienstein is a control point for the "Eisenach-Budapest International Mountain Hiking Trail".Cowshed (Neuer Wildenstein)The Kuhstall is a gateway to nature! The striking rock massif lies in the middle of a densely wooded area. A short climb from the Lichtenhain waterfall on well-surfaced paths. Its treasures: the largest layered joint cave in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Bronze Age ring wall, 43 metre high rock needle in front of the southern tip - called Barbarine, goldsmith's cave, around 30 climbing rocks. After the steep ascent through the eye of the needle, you can enjoy a marvellous panorama. Magnificent views of the surrounding rocky landscape await you: Schrammsteine, Großer Winterberg - the highest mountain in Saxon Switzerland, Zschirnsteine and Bohemian Switzerland.Bielatal valleyDreamy, sunny meadows, healthy mixed forest, gently babbling brooks, lined with lush ferns, mosses and grasses, and unusually delicate rock formations. Hiking and climbing here is a pleasure! An extensive network of paths opens up the area around the villages of Bielatal and Rosenthal all the way to the Czech border. Bold rock towers such as the Pillars of Hercules, the Abandoned Wall and the Leaning Tower offer sporting challenges of all levels of difficulty.
