Acerca de este alojamiento
109 Gudrun by Interhome
tipo de edificio: Bungalow. superficie del terreno: 550m². año de construcción: 1981. no es posible una reserva de grupos menores de edad.
Permitido máximo 2 mascotas / perros. The house is situated in a small bungalow estate near Oostmahorn on the Lauwersmeer. The house is almost at the end of a cul-de-sac (only 7 houses follow) and opposite the former North Sea dyke. The holiday home has a living space of approx. 100 m² and has three bedrooms. The furnishings have been chosen so that even 5 people can spend a relaxing holiday here. The two bedrooms are located in the attic. On the ground floor there is a small room in which a two-person bed has been installed, bordered on three sides by walls and closed off at the front by half-height doors. The bathroom has a shower, WC and washing machine. There is double glazing with fly screens throughout the house. Guests have access to a well-kept garden and a terrace with garden furniture. The house can be rented all year round, but is also used regularly by the owners. In houses that are only rented out, small items such as can openers, corkscrews or scissors are often missing over time - to name just a few examples. In 1969, the dyke lost its direct protective function because the Lauwersmeer was closed off from the North Sea at that time.As the crow flies, the North Sea is only 3 kilometres away and the Lauwersmeer (now fresh water) only 300 metres. The site also has a playground with 2 football goals, a basketball hoop and a volleyball court.Oostmahorn is a fortified village from the early 16th century with an extensive history on what was then the Lauwerszee. Today it is an attractive tourist destination on the edge of the Lauwersmeer National Park and has two holiday parks. The lake and its immediate surroundings are a paradise for nature lovers, fishermen, water sports enthusiasts, hikers and cyclists. Dog lovers and their four-legged friends also get their money's worth here. Lauwersoog has a dog beach, for example, and you are very welcome in the Ballastplaat forest, among other places. There are various play options for children within a few hundred metres of the chalet, including a climbing frame on the beach, a playing field at De Skâns holiday park and a playground with a bouncy cushion in Esonstad, which is located behind the beach. There is also an indoor play paradise in the old Frisian-style fortified town, which is open for much of the year, and you can play a round of golf or footgolf at Pitch & Putt. A bicycle or e-chopper can also be hired here. For your daily groceries (a large supermarket is a few kilometres away in Anjum) you can also go to the local supermarket in Esonstad. Other facilities include a restaurant, a pizzeria and a snack bar. Even closer to the chalet - in the marina and on the dyke - there are also 3 excellent restaurants with magnificent views over the Lauwersmeer. You are in the right culinary spot on this former arm of the Wadden Sea. In the harbour of Lauwersoog you will find a variety of fish restaurants and the former seaport of Zoutkamp on the other side of the Lauwersmeer also offers a wide selection of restaurants. Finally, a visit to historic and picturesque Dokkum with its fortresses, shops and terraces is highly recommended. To discover the national park from the water, you can of course bring your own boat, but just around the corner from the chalet you can also hire various sloops, sailing boats or canoes from Paviljoen La Barca. A round trip, a trip to Dokkum or a birdwatching excursion on the former cargo ship Vlinderbalg are also possible, and a ferry to Schiermonnikoog departs from here several times a week. From Lauwersoog, you can take part in seal and mudflat walks and, depending on the tide, enjoy the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site on the dry Engelsmanplaat. The Lauwersmeer is a favourite with fish lovers. Lots of bream and roach swim here, but you can also fish for zander and perch. You can buy a fishing licence at the reception of Holland1.Do you like walking and want to relax? For example, visit the fishing village of Paesens-Moddergat on the sea dike with its museum 't Fiskershúske. You can also go on various daily mudflat walks in this authentic double village. Or simply stay at home in and outside your chalet. Don't forget to look up on a cloudless late evening and enjoy the starry sky and the Milky Way. It is not for nothing that the Lauwersmeer area (together with the Boschplaat on Terschelling) has been declared a Dark Sky Park by the International Dark Sky Association. In short: a special place in a unique environment!
