Vacation where Picasso lived:The modern holiday flat with 81 m² living space (including 15 m² covered terrace) and 130 m² private garden (not "dog-proof" enclosed) is part of the wonderfully green residence Les Bastides du Golf. Both the tennis court and the large, very well-maintained swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds, parasols and showers are only a few steps (< 30 m) away from the flat.The residence is situated between the fashionable film festival city of Cannes and the more tranquil Mougins with its spectacularly picturesque old town and first-class restaurants. Pablo Picasso lived in both towns for many years, which is why Mougins "vieux village" is adorned with a large Picasso sculpture and an art museum, in addition to countless works of art and galleries. The beautiful sandy beach of the Bay of Cannes is only 5 km away, as is the vibrant (night) life of the coastal city.Above and next to the flat are also flats with guests or owners who want to relax in peace, especially in the evenings and at night. Therefore, please understand that we cannot accept groups of young people. Please state the age of all travellers when making your booking so that it can be answered quickly. The deposit (see prices) must be paid in cash at the Royal Real Estate Agency and will be returned immediately upon departure if everything is in order.It is located five hundred metres linear distance and within easy walking distance, right next to the chic clubhouse of the award-winning Royal Mougins Golf & Spa Resort with wonderful views. This is open to all for a visit to the spa or restaurant in a relaxed atmosphere (without "dress code" or similar). Tenants of the holiday flat with a good handicap (see pictures for details) can even play at the golf club at reduced rates.How you reside:The flat offers comfortable space for a holiday for four people in two bedrooms with double beds; the blue sofa bed in the living room offer space for two more. Due to the generous furnishings and a private area of over 210 m² including the garden, a holiday for six is also possible.It has:1) a spacious covered terrace (15 sqm) with a large natural wood dining table and comfortable sun loungers, as well as an electric awning that can also provide shade far into the garden on particularly hot days.2) a 34 sqm living room with kitchen, TV and pull-out sofa bed for two persons3) two bedrooms with large bed (200 x 200 cm each) and built-in wardrobe4) a new, well-equipped kitchen with bar, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator incl. freezer, bar, induction cooker, coffee machine, toaster, microwave etc.5) all rooms can be completely darkened with electric shutters6) a bathroom with shower, WC and window as well as a separate WC with washbasin7) free WLAN / internet access in all rooms8) The flat has no cooler, but if needed two mobile tower fans in the sleeping rooms (which have their windows to North-east) provide a soft breeze and can also be placed in the living room. For the colder season, there is of course also heating available.The living room and terrace open in a south-westerly direction to a private garden with Mediterranean vegetation (approx. 130 m²), the bedrooms to north-east. This offers peace and relaxation, but also plenty of space for enjoyable rounds under palm trees: a great oasis of well-being! How to enjoy:In addition to your private areas, the holiday property with relaxed noblesse has direct and free access to1) to the spacious pool (about 20 by 12 metres) - partly shallow, partly long lane for swimming. Wonderful views of the surrounding mountains2) to the spacious pool relaxation area (> 500 m²) with comfortable equipment: sunbeds, parasols, reading tables, fountain and separate shower house3) the tennis court surrounded by trees, which our guests can also use free of charge and without registration.Even in high summer, the communal areas are easily accessible and seldom heavily frequented, often even free for sole use. The pool and tennis court are protected by a fence suitable for children. The private area is surrounded by a hedge (but which can be bypassed by dogs).You can move around the 20,000 m² park-like area of the residence undisturbed and safely. There is no flowing car traffic. Residents and guests enter the holiday complex via an access code. Views of the opulent nature & foothills of the Southern French Maritime Alps open up everywhere from the complex. The residence is serviced all year round (concierge & gardening team on site).
