The holiday farm is situated in an area lying on the slopes of the Chianti Montalbano hills, a natural terrace overlooking the Valdinievole, with Pescia, the city of flowers, Collodi famous for the Pinocchio park and the Fucecchio Marshes, a nature reserve of great interest.The countryside surrounding the agritourism, very green and undulating thanks to the gentle rolling hills, is mainly cultivated with vines and olive trees, and is characterised by hills that are not very high, with the exception of the Chianti Montalbano hills. The conformation of the land and the vitality of the countryside have led to the emergence, over time, of many small centres rich in: Artisan Shops, Small trades, Typical restaurants, Markets.Thanks to the privileged geographical position, it is possible to make tourist and cultural day trips to the art cities of Tuscany: Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Siena, S. Gimignano, Volterra , Arezzo, Cortona, Lucca and the sea of VersiliaThe Master House is situated within the property " Agriturismo Poggio alla Cavalla ". The Master House (approx. 120 sqm / sleeps 7 - 1 double bedroom plus single bed, 1 double bedroom and 1 double sofa bed)The house is on two floors and has: independent entrance, private garden, independent heating, air conditioning, Internet wifi, 3 TVs; the house is situated inside the property which includes the garden, the swimming pool with a large panoramic terrace, and private parking.The ground floor is an open space composed of:- Large kitchen area with a 5-burner hob, convenient sink, dishwasher, electric oven, coffee machine, 8-drawer freezer column, 320lt refrigerator column, column with electric oven and microwave oven, complete with kitchenware for cooking and all utensils, plate and glass service for 12 people, table and chairs, tablecloth and kitchen linen.- Living area with TV and DVD, internet and comfortable two-seater sofa bed.- Space with washing machine and dryer.On the first floor are:- two large double bedrooms, one with terrace, and both with the possibility of adding a cot; furnished in modern style with 6-door wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables, tv with dvd.- Comfortable and functional bathroom equipped with bathtub and shower, washbasin, toilet, bidet and hairdryer, supplied with a set of towels for all guests. All accommodations also have a clothes rack, ironing board and iron; the farmhouse also has a washing machine and washhouse. Each accommodation also has a private outdoor area equipped for outdoor dining, with table, chairs and gazebo or sunshade, barbecue, and its own parking space in the private courtyard of the farmhouse. The swimming pool for farmhouse guests only (12x6 metres, open from 30.04 to 10.10) is equipped with a gazebo, parasols, sunbeds, deckchairs and shower.EXTERNAL DESCRIPTION : The Poggio alla Cavalla farmhouse is surrounded by a garden, inside which there are the tourist accommodations, the swimming pool with a large panoramic terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside and the private parking for guests.All the accommodations are independent and are located inside the tourist structure, all of them have a private garden with gazebo or sun umbrella and equipped for lunches and dinners in the open air; they are all equipped with table, chairs and barbecue.THE SWIMMING POOL (open from 30 April to 10 October), is reserved only for the guests of the holiday farm; it is built in an open and sunny area; it has a large terrace for sunbathing, equipped with a gazebo, shower, deckchairs, sun loungers, parasols and tables; from its terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.The car park is private, fenced off and closed by a large automatic gate which is controlled by a remote control given to guests staying at the holiday farm.The owner, Massimo Camelli, and his son, Alessandro, welcome guests to the agriturismo and ensure that they have a pleasant holiday. They also take care of the farm's vineyards and olive groves and the production of wine and oil, according to the method of Organic Farming. This type of farming allows for the production of quality Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil, which are not only healthy and genuine, but also evoke authentic flavours and are a guarantee of care for the environment and the wellbeing of consumers.OUR ORGANIC PRODUCTS ON SALE ARE:- CHIANTI D.O.C.G. wine obtained from selected Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Syrah and Malvasia vines, recommended to accompany Tuscan-style appetisers and main courses of roasts, game and grilled meat. - VALDINIEVOLE WHITE wine, obtained from Trebbiano and White Malvasia grapes, served at a temperature of 8°, is recommended with hors d'oeuvres, crustaceans and fish dishes. - EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL FROM TUSCANY obtained from Leccino, Moraiolo and Frantoio olives using only cold mechanical procedures. The gentle temperature of the water in the swimming pool and the slow rise to 34° C in its grottos makes the "thermal steam bath" enjoyable, even in winter. Staying inside them helps eliminate toxins and all traces of stress.- The thermal town of Montecatini, about 9 km away, is a tourist centre famous for its beneficial thermal water. The town is full of entertainment venues and shops of all kinds for shopping.- Montecatini Golf: about 6 km from the Agriturismo, the Montecatini Golf Club is immersed in the green Tuscan countryside. It is an 18-hole course designed in such a way as to be able to integrate the hilly landscape with the game course, enhancing its beauty.- In the village of Lamporecchio municipal tennis court, approx. 3 km from the farmhouse. The tennis court is also open in the evenings.- Pistoia Zoo: the park, approx. 20 km from the holiday farm, covers an area of 7 hectares and is home to around 400 animals belonging to the mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian and insect classes. In addition, a few kilometres from the farm holiday centre is the town of Collodi with the Pinocchio Park, an absolute attraction for children.- For those who love nature and beautiful landscapes, the nearby Fucecchio Marshes Nature Reserve and Park, where it is possible to go birdwatching- For sports enthusiasts, in Montecatini there is the Sesana Hippodrome with night-time trotting races and the sports shooting range.
