The village of Lido delle Nazioni is characterised by wide streets, lots of greenery and many shops for the pleasure of a few purchases after a day at the beach. The beaches are easily reached from the seafront and are ideal for children's fun with slides, swings, and swimming pools.For a wellness holiday, there is a modern spa facility that uses salso-bromo-iodine water, with massage centres and relaxation areas. For a plunge into the past, at Lido delle Nazioni you can visit the Capanno di Garibaldi (Garibaldi's hut) where the hero of two worlds landed fleeing with the dying Anita on 3 August 1849.
