Estamos ubicados a una cuadra del centro de La Jolla Shores (Avenida de la Playa) y a una cuadra más para colocar los pies en la arena y jugar en el hermoso Océano Pacífico. Das Haus ist architektonisch wirklich beeindruckend und liegt in einer sehr guten Lage. Umso enttäuschender ist der Zustand, in dem es sich präsentiert. Ein Haus dieser Qualität und Preisklasse sollte selbstverständlich sauber und gepflegt sein – das ist hier leider nicht der Fall.Der Klodeckel ist vergilbt, die Küchenmöbel sind fettig und deutlich abgenutzt, die Einrichtung wirkt insgesamt abgewohnt. Draußen sind die Sitzpolster verschmutzt und von Mäusen angebissen, und der Gasgrill wurde offensichtlich als Kohlegrill benutzt und funktioniert nicht mehr.Schade, denn das Haus hätte enormes Potenzial. Mit mehr Pflege, Sauberkeit und Liebe zum Detail wäre es ein außergewöhnlich schöner Ort. So wie es aktuell ist, stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis jedoch nicht.

Perfect La Jolla Getaway

The home was absolutely lovely. Comfortable, thoughtful, well-stocked and beautifully designed and decorated. Jill was so helpful both in the planning stages as well as throughout our time there. Staying there was a true treat and we hope to be able to return soon!

Perfect in every way

We were in LaJolla for a family wedding There were 7 adults and 3 kids under 3 We were able to keep the sliders to open porch open all day long. Walk to beach where there is a playground and the village where there are stores and restaurants is literally a block away! Would definitely recommend 100%

Perfect location and Great owner to work with

We are repeat guests and will continue to be for several reasons; Location of the home is ideal given it is one block from several breakfast, lunch and dinner places, inclusive of small markets with basic grocery items. The beach is a couple of small blocks away and easily accessible. The home itself is kept very clean, well stocked kitchen if you plan to cook, beach items if you plan to go to the beach. Each bedroom is ensuite which is great for privacy, the indoor/outdoor areas are perfect for lounging, especially downstairs since the entire glass "wall" folds open creating an inviting and private space to spend your time. The owner Jill is wonderful to work with, she is efficient in her communication and wants to make sure you have a comfortable stay, you can feel the pride of ownership and care she has for her home and guests.

Great Location

Our group enjoyed the great location of this home. Easy walk to beach, restaurants and market. The home embraces outdoor living with its large glass retractable wall. Only downside for our group was the downstairs lacked comfortable seating both inside and out. Outside had pads on cement block bench seating and two folding lounge chairs only. Inside sofa accommodates only 3 so others must use the plastic dining chairs. Otherwise, home is well stocked and layout accommodates a group well. Bathroom with each bedroom is a plus.

Great house and awesome location

The house was exactly as advertised. It was very comfortable and is in the perfect spot! So much fun to be so close to the beach, wonderful restaurants and coffee shops.

Beautiful home with a perfect location

This home was a perfect match to what we were looking for in our stay! It had everything we needed and the location is perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants and the neighborhood is pleasant. The home is exactly as it is pictured but better! You cannot go wrong booking and staying here l I hope to be back soon! Five stars all the way!

2nd Stay Just as Good as the 1st!

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as good as the first. The location is ideal and the house is the perfect set up for a group. We love the indoor/outdoor kitchen and dining. Looking forward to a 3rd visit in the future!

Amazing property.

We had the best stay at this property. The location is fantastic. So close to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. Very walkable etc. The house was very clean and well organized and spacious. Had tons of room to spread out. The outdoor space was also so great. An amazing rental. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful, Comfortable, Relaxing, Spacious!

This modern, beautifully designed beach home is well laid out and allows for both time together and time apart. Just a few minutes walk from the beach, we loved that there were no beach access stairs for my elderly Mom. The indoor/outdoor space allowed us to have a lovely socially-distanced dinner with local friends without ever leaving home. And did I mention that it’s a “green” home? We loved everything about this home, it’s location, Jill, and the entire experience. Jill has created a luxury yet homey feel with a well appointed kitchen and a nice little library. It’s a home with a great view and just steps away from coffee, pizza, ice cream, surf shops and a few restaurants. We can’t wait to come back and spoil ourselves again next summer!

Perfect Home Near The Beach/Town!

This house was perfect for our family of five. Great indoor outdoor space for our summer vacation. Loved how you never had to get in your car. Everything is within walking distance. The home had great size rooms for everyone! Jill was very responsive! Definitely check this place out!

Beach House Bliss

The house is modern and beautiful! 6 of us stayed here and were very comfortable. The glass wall opens to invite cooling ocean breezes all day. Jill is very helpful and responsive. 5 min walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We would not hesitate to book here again!

Lovely family vacation home

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home close to beach and to restaurants. Outdoor patio and decks were great for relaxing and fun for toddler to play. Jill was great responding to questions and requests. We hope to come again.

Hi! My name is Jill. I am originally from the Midwest. I moved to California in 2008 and absolutely love it here! My kids and I like to surf at La Jolla Shores and Scripp's Pier and love that we can walk to the beach from our house. We live one block from all of the wonderful shops and restaurants in the Shores. We are regulars at all of the establishments here in our neighborhood and can recommend great places to dine, shop, and learn to surf. We occupy this home most of the year, but rent it for a few select weeks during the year. We can help you find activities that your whole family will love...just ask us!

This home was finished in April of 2013. The home is LEED Platinum Certified and has received architectural awards and considerable press due to the beautiful and simple design and it's sustainability. It is the home of my dreams and I know you will love it as much as I do! The glass wall, which separates the inside from the outside, completely retracts and allows the two to merge. This makes the house wonderful for entertaining and enjoying the gorgeous weather here in La Jolla.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Everything is within walking distance of this lovely home! You can go for a run on the beach in the morning, learn how to surf in the afternoon, and have a gorgeous dinner with fine wine in the evening....all at your doorstep! This is truly the best location if you are coming to La Jolla to enjoy the beach. If you have kids, it's possible for the kids to do surf camp right on this beach (ask for recommendations). In addition, there are bike tours, kayak tours and rentals, and scuba diving one block from the house.
