Welcome to Mainz
If you’re looking for a cozy, bright, and clean apartment in Mainz, you’re in the right place.
Location:
This attic apartment is located in Mainz’s green belt in a quiet area, very close to the university and just a few minutes’ walk from the hospital. It takes 25–30 minutes to walk to the city center/main train station; by bike, it takes about 5–8 minutes, as does the bus, which departs right around the corner.
Layout:
The apartment is located on the top floor of a three-family house. It measures 54 square meters (sloped ceilings are already factored in) and is flooded with light when the weather is nice. It features a bedroom with a 160x200 bed and a second small bedroom for one person with a 90x200 bed.
There is a small bathroom with a window and a glass shower, as well as a spacious living-dining room with an open kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, microwave and oven, ceramic cooktop, and dishwasher.
A coffee machine, coffee, filter bags, sugar, and tea bags are always available—at least for your first breakfast.
Since this is an attic apartment, I should mention that the ceiling height is very limited at 2.20 meters. Taller guests should keep this in mind beforehand!
Additional important information:
The beds are freshly made, and clean towels are provided.
A free parking space is available in front of the house, on the property.
The apartment is located in a purely residential neighborhood. There are no supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. To get to one, you’ll have to walk a bit or take the bus (2 stops)!
The apartment is particularly well-suited for a visiting professor at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz—it’s really just a few steps away—or for a temporary employee at the university hospital, or for patients’ relatives.
Good to know: As of July 1, the city of Mainz charges a lodging fee per night for all guests.
