Acerca de este alojamiento
Altstadthus - gemütliches Ferienhaus mit romantischem Garten by Interhome
tipo de edificio: chalet adosado. superficie del terreno: 90m². año de construcción: 1872. no es posible una reserva de grupo.
The romantic, cobbled lane leads to the left to the Treene (200 m) and to the right to the Stadtfeld (park with playground). After a 2-minute walk you are already on the market square. With many shops, restaurants and cafés. The large natural outdoor pool on the Treene is a 5-minute walk away. The canals run through the whole of Friedrichstadt. Whether a round trip on the large canal boats (also covered) or a tour on your own with a rented pedal boat, paddle boat or electric boat... Exploring Friedrichstadt from the water is a special experience. A large Edeka supermarket is also just a 5-minute walk away.FriedrichstadtFriedrichstadt is known to many North Sea fans as the "Dutch town" or "Little Amsterdam". The Dutch townscape with canals (canals), many picturesque bridges and dead-straight, cobbled streets is now a landmark. The city was founded in 1621 by members of the Remonstrant religious community who had been expelled from Holland. The religious freedom granted to them by the duke led to Friedrichstadt being known as the "City of Tolerance". The town's image is still characterised today by its remarkable Dutch Renaissance houses and stepped gables. The former garden was provided with a permanent roof directly adjacent to the kitchen. The guest toilet and washing machine are housed in the adjoining building. This creates a covered, wind-protected seating area with lounge furniture. From this seating area you can access the small but lovely garden. In summer, you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the bistro table surrounded by fragrant roses.Charming old town house from 1872 in the historic centre of Friedrichstadt. Completely renovated in 2019. Large, bright living room with dining area and open-plan kitchen on the ground floor. From there you can access the conservatory with lounge furniture and the utility room (with guest WC). The adjoining garden is small but nice. A new wooden staircase in the entrance hall leads to the upper floor with a reading corner, a modern shower room and a spacious, bright bedroom. State-of-the-art kitchen appliances, fly screens, satellite TV, WLAN (50 MBit), Internet radio, towels and bed linen are all part of our standard equipment. Our typical old town house is not only in the best location to explore Friedrichstadt, but also offers the ideal starting point for your North Sea holiday away from the tourist strongholds. Friedrichstadt is located on the "Green Coastal Road" between the Eider and Treene rivers. Our "Dutch town" has a lot to offer, you don't really have to go on any excursions, but if you do, we have put together a few tips here: The old farming villages of Seeth, Süderstapel and Bergenhusen with their beautiful thatched roof houses and many stork nests are close by and easily accessible by bike. You can even reach the idyllic climatic health resort of Schwabstedt by boat across the Treene or on a half-hour bike ride. St. Peter-Ording and the North Sea islands and Halligen are ideal for swimming and mudflat walks along the longest sandy beaches on the German North Sea coast. Tönning attracts visitors with its old harbour and the Multimar Wattforum. Husum, the "grey city by the sea" with its Theodor Storm House or the cultural city of Schleswig with Gottorf Castle are within easy reach. Friedrichstadt also has a railway station with hourly connections to Westerland on Sylt (around 1.5 hours by train). Flensburg and Denmark are not far away in the north.Youth groups and partiesThis property is planned and designed for a family holiday or for 2 couples. We cannot expect the neighbours to have a permanent party either. Please understand that we CANNOT accept youth groups and party parties.Electricity & gas costsDue to the uncertain energy prices, we have decided to charge a flat rate for electricity and gas. The future development on the energy markets cannot be estimated by all of us. Bed linen, towels, sauna sheets, tea towels, rubbish and water, as well as the basic equipment with dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, kitchen roll, shower gel and shampoo will of course remain free of charge. Please be careful with the resources of our planet.
