The village of Baabe lies at the "gateway" to the Mönchgut peninsula on both sides of the B 196 main road. Its location on an isthmus gives it an interesting alternation of "four faces" in a narrow landscape. A long walk along the Baltic Sea is not only very attractive, but also healthy.
