Frees Moi, which means “wonderfully beautiful” in Frisian, is the house built in 2023 in the region’s typical style, which houses this ground-floor vacation rental. Characteristic of a traditional East Frisian captain’s house are the red clinker bricks and the striking third gable, through which you enter your elegant vacation home.

Inside, too, the tasteful, high-quality, and beautifully Frisian style is consistently carried through. The apartment is located directly behind the dike and yet pleasantly away from the hustle and bustle, nestled in an established neighborhood. This location offers peace and relaxation without sacrificing convenience: local shops and numerous restaurants are within easy walking distance. The Neßmersiel harbor and beach are about three kilometers away and can be easily reached on foot or by bike.

The vacation apartment—one of two units in the building—is very well equipped. From an egg cooker to a coffee maker, dishwasher, and washing machine, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay. Frees Moi features a modern kitchen-diner with high-quality built-in cabinets, a cozy dining area, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer direct access to the patio. Enjoy your dinner here in nice weather while breathing in the fresh North Sea air—that’s what a vacation on the East Frisian coast feels like.

The spacious, fully fenced-in communal garden invites you to spend relaxing hours outdoors and also offers plenty of safe space for your dog to roam. For relaxing wellness moments, the four residential units have a total of two saunas and two outdoor hot tubs available for shared use. Use is coordinated with the other guests and organized amicably on-site. It is available daily between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. and offers the perfect opportunity to wind down after an eventful day of vacation.

You have the option to customize your stay with a selection of convenient additional services. These include, among other things, laundry packages, a bread roll service, and other practical offerings that will make your vacation even more enjoyable. These services are optional and not automatically included in your booking, but can be easily added after you book via our guest app—subject to availability, of course.

Our tip: A challenging mudflat hike from the Neßmersiel harbor to Baltrum, followed by a few relaxing hours on your terrace—or, if you prefer, in the hot tub or sauna—with a nice cold beer or a good glass of wine. That’s how a single day can feel like a whole week of vacation.
