Situado a 11 millas de la entrada de Big Oak Flat de Parque Nacional de Yosemite, Lilliskog está enclavado en la cima de la montaña serena rodeada por el Bosque Nacional Stanislaus, Lillaskog Lodge es ideal para reuniones familiares, fiestas mayores y eventos especiales, tales como retiros, bodas, etc. Es un lugar maravilloso para empezar nuevas tradiciones de la familia!

Lillaskog Lodge se encuentra a 11 millas de la entrada de Big Oak Flat de Parque Nacional de Yosemite. Ya se encuentre en Yosemite, el entretenimiento de la familia o un grupo grande de alojamiento, Lillaskog tiene algo para todos.

El 5000 pies cuadrados Lodge está labrado con un endeudamiento estilo sueco de ascendencia sueca de la familia. El nombre Lillaskog (pronunciado Lillaskoog) es sueca para "Pequeño Bosque".

Después de un día explorando Yosemite, barbacoa en el patio o cocinar platos favoritos de su familia en nuestra cocina grande, totalmente equipada. Relajarse en la gran sala espaciosa, o leer un libro de la biblioteca desván y acurrucarse junto a la chimenea de piedra.

Lillaskog tiene conexión Wi-Fi y pantalla plana, satélite TV en la gran sala y todos los dormitorios.

La planta principal de la casa de campo es totalmente accesible en silla de ruedas y se compone de una gran cocina, totalmente equipada y la gran sala con ventanas de piso a techo y una chimenea de piedra. Un piano está disponible en la zona de comedor junto a la gran sala, para aquellos que son inclinada a la música. Este piso tiene dos dormitorios y tres baños, uno de los cuales es totalmente adaptadas para personas minusválidas. La zona de loft superior cuenta con la biblioteca y un dormitorio principal en suite con balcón privado y baño.

El nivel inferior incluye un cuarto extra que puede ser configurado con 6 camas individuales o como una sala de conferencias / reuniones. El nivel inferior también tiene tres dormitorios y tres cuartos de baño.

Todas nuestras habitaciones están equipadas con sábanas suaves, cama de calidad, control de temperatura individual, plancha y TV vía satélite de pantalla plana.

Los cuartos de baño están equipados con grandes y esponjosas, toallas, secador de pelo suave y jabón de cortesía, champú y acondicionador. El baño media bóveda en la planta principal está en silla de ruedas accesible de la ADA con una silla de asiento del inodoro y ducha extraíble elevada.

Los jardines que rodean la casa de campo tienen dos zonas de césped. La, zona de césped grande inferior cuenta con el mirador con una vista increíble como telón de fondo. Esta área se utiliza a menudo para bodas.
La zona de césped superior es uno de los favoritos para la observación de las hermosas puestas de sol o asar malvaviscos sobre el pozo de fuego. También es adyacente a nuestra amplia zona de adoquines que se pueden configurar con mesas para comer al aire libre para nuestros grandes grupos para disfrutar. Nadar o pescar en la cercana piscina del arco iris, ir rafting por el río Tuolumne. Wonderful Lodge near Yosemite

The lodge was everything we were looking for. Beautiful location and removed from high traffic areas of Yosemite. Took my HS cross country team there for the week and it was a perfect base camp for all activities in the area. Hosts were exceptional.

We really enjoyed our time at Lillaskog Lodge. There was plenty of space for our group of 9 and we enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen including grills and blackstone, board games, and meteor showers as watched in the Adirondack chairs. The swimming pond and waterfall only five minutes away were amazing. The temperature was over 100 while we were there and would have appreciated additional AC and ventilation, specifically in the downstairs bedrooms. There were hair driers missing in at least one bathroom and the drier was working intermittently. The dishwasher also stopped working and the owners responded quickly. Scott the groundsman was very attentive to our needs and was always happy to answer any of our questions. There was grocery shopping close but restaurants are limitted. The Park entrance was 15 minutes away but hiking and many attractions required drives of 1-2 hours. Overall it was a really great week in a beautiful part of the country. We would give a 9/10 rating.

Perfect for large families

We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view, the large, well equipped kitchen and the multiple BarBQs. Also very nice to all have a bathroom. The kids room was perfect!

Excellent for large families; amazing views

The lodge had more than enough space for our family of 17 plus a small pup. Not a 5-star hotel but it had everything we needed to make our two-night stay comfortable and the great room had holiday decorations which was nice. The wi-fi was spotty at times but that was expected given the location. Our favorite parts were the amazing mountain views and the proximity to Yosemite National Park. We had 3 SUVs and also appreciated the plenty of parking space inside the property. Liza and Tom were incredibly responsive when we had questions and we also met some of the staff when we were departing who were very nice! Our group enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here again.

So beautiful!

The cabin was so gorgeous, as well as the view! My husband and I stayed to host our wedding and everyone kept talking about how incredible the cabin was! Liza, of course, was great as well, she responds to texts and calls super efficiently and made sure the cabin was ready for us!

The views are beautiful and the proximity to Yosemite is great. VRBO indicates the property has a hot tub but there is no hot tub on the property so that was disappointing. That needs to be removed from the listing. There was a mouse in the house but that is probably to be expected based on the location of the property. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect stay.

We had a great stay Lillaskog lodge. The place fit our large group perfectly. It had everything we needed and was a short drive to Yosemite. The views are amazing and we spent the evenings watching the sunset over the mountains. The kids loved swimming at Rainbow pool which is only a mile down the road. Liza the owner was really nice and made everything so easy. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Yosemite or just want a place for some peace and quiet.

The property was great for our high school classmate reunion: plenty of space to cook, socialize and enjoy the surroundings. The house was well-equipped for gatherings like ours (10 guests). We're already talking about scheduling another trip there next year.

Beautiful property with amazing views

We had a family reunion and there was plenty of room for multiple families to have their own space. I would caution anyone traveling with a small car to be very cautious on the 1/2 mile trek from 120 to the property as it is a pretty washed out dirt road.

Life-long friends reunion

A group of 12-15 childhood friends get together every few years and this year we chose to be near Yosemite NP. We could not have picked a better location or space for our get together. The accommodations were more than enough to keep us all under one roof. And the views were fantastic too! I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone who asks.

Great Family Gathering

This was the third time we gathered our clan at Lillaskog for a Holiday get together. As usual, all had a great time. I highly recommend this place if you need a large clan to gather and it has a great view. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The only very slight negative is we had to wait 10 minutes to get into the house as they were finishing cleaning. On the other hand, it was Christmas Day and we understand that everyone was with their family in the morning. We will be back -- again!

Spectacular time with my families at your cottage.

The cottage has great views that you can not describe until you are there. It has everything you can imaging. Like the owner say, just bring food and your camera. He really meant that because the cottage provide you with everything you need. The fruits from the garden and the eggs from the hen was a bonus. Our kids and adults loves it. It was a great location from the entrance to Yosemite. Had a great time there also. The only thing I hope the owner can add on to the cottage is the air condition for each bedroom. The 2 days we were there was very hot (85~90 degrees). That would make a prefect place to stay. Thank you so much for having a beautiful cottage.

Great Views, Sunsets and Star Gazing

I have mixed emotions about this property. It is a nice large house that needs some love. Definitely not a 10 out of 10 that some reviewers gave it. Pros: We had six adults and six children and had plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook for a group. The sunsets, sunrises and star gazing were amazing and we loved our evenings outdoors. Cons: Air conditioning is by room air conditioners. None in the basement bedrooms (4). Very warm our first night there. Mice and mice droppings, but we are in the forest so.. Two smoke alarms started beeping in the night two out of four nights staying. I think that could have been prevented by maintenance. Property manager responded quickly and replaced batteries both times. Most of the bedroom furniture drawers don't open. Two of the bathrooms have showers in claw foot tubs that are very treacherous. Low water pressure in upstairs bathroom. High water pressure in basement bathrooms.

Incredible Stay

I booked this trip for my family (9 adults and 3 kids) to go see Yosemite. In the run up to our trip, California was hit with record storms and Yosemite was closed and the property was damaged. Liza, the property manager was exceptionally communicative, letting us know well in advance the extent of the damage and how it could effect our trip. Liza and the property caretaker worked hard in the days leading up to our trip to resolve all of the damage issues and gave frequent updates on the progress, including offering to let us reschedule or cancel. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy, the property is immaculate, and the views are astonishing! The house is exceptionally well stocked with amenities from firewood, to puzzles, board games, and books, to the most well outfitted kitchen I have seen in a rental property. The kids brought snow gear and spent every minute they could sledding down the rapidly melting snow and Liza was able to give advice on where they could go to find more snow as well as additional hiking options with Yosemite closed. Liza really did everything she could to make our stay special. My only complaint is that we want to go back and it's hard to find a free weekend given the properties popularity. A huge thank you to the folks that make Liliskag so special!

The defini"Climate controlled rooms" means heaters, not air conditioners

This property is as beautiful as the pictures, inside and out. We happened to go during a heat wave, and those members of our family who stayed in Mono, Tioga, Bodie and the Bonus room were very unhappy that their rooms had no A/C. The great room and kitchen are large and the swamp cooler in the corner didn't cut it. The thermostat in the great room never got below 82 degrees and with the ovens on in the kitchen, I am sure it was close to 90 there. A mouse played peek a boo with us under the bathroom door in El Capitan, the area rugs in the living area need a good shampooing, of the 3 BBQ s available only one worked properly. The side by side refrigerator is defective, doesn't make ice and the panel between the refrigerator and freezer is so hot you can't touch it. Of the two ovens in the kitchen, only one would reach 450 degrees. The dryer in the utility room takes forever and the outside washer's water hoses are switched, so if you want to wash with cold water you have to set it to hot. The 3 maintenance men who take care of the property are so helpful, especially Scott. He always has a joke to make you smile if you are up early enough to catch him outside. There are abundant fruit trees and black berries on the property. The Rainbow Falls swimming hole a short drive from the lodge was our saving grace in the evenings to keep from sweating all night long in the house. The sunsets were an event for our group, with chairs lined up on the lawn waiting for that Kodak moment, always beautiful. The close proximity to the park gate was a nice plus, and we enjoyed outings to Jamestown, Columbia and Sonora. Lots to see! For the amount we paid, we felt that things should have been in top condition. and that just wasn't the case. But there are lots of good things about it too. It's hard to know what is going on at a property you don't live at unless the renters tell you, so that's my intention and to help the next guy be prepared for a few items that need improvement. Some split unit A/Cs in the lower bedrooms and another one in the great room would greatly help summer renters, but our understanding is that they are at the end of the power grid and there isn't enough electricity to support them. I hope this is helpful to someone.

Fantastic lodge in a great location, well stocked kitchen

Liza was very communicative and helpful in planning the trip. They clearly put lots of care into the property. The living space is cozy with great views, the aesthetic is pleasant, and there’s ample space for a large group. Definitely recommend.

Amazing holiday weekend

Rental process was perfect from start to finish. The cabin was clean, organized and extremely well stocked to entertain a large group. The location was perfect for enjoying Yosemite and the many other local hikes and swimming holes. The cabin hosts took incredible care of us making sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to visit Lilliskog again. Thank you Liza, Tom and Scott!!

Making Memories

Lillaskog was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for everyone. Liza answered all of our questions as we were preparing for our trip. The kids enjoyed picking grapes and blackberries. Sunsets were beautiful. It was nice to have two sets of washers and dryers for our size of group. The kitchen was big and stocked with many essentials. Overall a great experience. It's all about making memories!

Annual family multi generational vacation

2 grand parents, 4 married children, 9 grandchildren. 11 of the group climbed Half Dome. All 19 enjoyed the associated Tuolumne river whole day rafting trip. Yosemite access is close by. Swimming holes nearby. Management removes garbage daily. Beautiful views. Adequate housing for all of us. Kitchen is the best supplied of any VRBO that we have attended. Would definitely return to this property the next time we vacation at Yosemite.
