Hermann Vacation Apartment - Oberlausitzer Hof Vacation Home

The Hermann vacation rental is located on the first floor. It features a living room (formerly a log cabin-style room), a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. It can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). Thanks to the couch in the living room, it’s also possible to accommodate two additional guests on a pull-out bed.

Immerse yourself in a carefully and meticulously renovated half-timbered house and discover both its historical and modern features.
This half-timbered house has a long history. It was built about 200 years ago and has been home to countless residents ever since.
Our goal was—and still is—to integrate valuable artifacts from the past into a modern, contemporary living experience. You’ll find our love for the house’s history reflected not only in our guest rooms but also in the apartments. During the renovation, it was important to us, on the one hand, to preserve as much of the original character as possible, and on the other hand, we placed great emphasis on ensuring that the renovation was carried out in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. We used primarily natural materials, which also contribute to the well-being of guests with allergies. Our two goats, surrounded by a colorful flock of chickens, complete the farm atmosphere. Every morning, the farmstead offers you a wonderful view over Spitzkunnersdorf and, when the weather is clear, of the Iser Mountains. It is situated in a quiet location away from road traffic.
The vacation home features two vacation apartments and two double rooms with private bathrooms that can be booked separately.

There is a small library in the upper hallway. It invites you to browse and relax with a cup of tea and a good book. Most of the books in the library come from the Umgebindehaus.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout our vacation home.
A party room is available for rent.



On-site fees: If needed, a washing machine and dryer can be used for a small fee.



Check-in is from 3:00 to 18:00, and check-out is from 00:00 to 11:00.
