Vacation apartment (100sqm) near the Baltic Sea at the gates of the Hanseatic city of Wismar

Our spacious vacation rental (100 square meters, modernized/renovated in 2024) is located in a rural area along the B 192 between the Hanseatic city of Wismar and the small towns of Warin and Neukloster, and offers ideal access to the A20 (3 minutes by car) and A14 (8 minutes by car) highways.

It features 1 large bedroom with a double bed and 1 small bedroom with 2 single beds, as well as sleeping accommodations on the sofa bed in the large living room. If needed, an additional rollaway bed can be added to the bedroom or living room. There is also space for a crib.

There is one large bathroom with a bathtub, shower, toilet, washing machine, and sink area; one small bathroom features a shower, toilet, and sink area.

Bedding, towels, and dish towels are included, as are dish soap and hand soap.

The kitchen is fully equipped (refrigerator-freezer combo, stove with oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and much more).
A separate dining room is perfect for cozy get-togethers and is equipped with a TV.

Another large TV is located in the living room, where, in addition to the large couch, there is a table with chairs for cozy gatherings.

You enter the apartment via a patio furnished with a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing outdoors.
There are facilities for barbecuing.
Ample parking is available for cars and bicycles.
Wi-Fi is free of charge.

Across from our house is the historic “Storchenhof Reinstorf,” a three-sided farmstead listed as a cultural heritage site. This family-run business offers regional products, beef and sausage products, poultry, honey, and handmade treats such as jam, jelly, liqueurs, juice, and much more.
There are animals you can pet; one highlight is the pair of white storks that have been nesting here for decades and raising their young. The clattering of the storks is an integral part of the scenery here.

Destinations within easy reach from here include, for example, Warnemünde with its regular influx and outflow of giant cruise ships, the island of Poel, the Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Rostock, and Lübeck, the state capital Schwerin with its impressive castle, and the Baltic Sea resorts of Boltenhagen, Kühlungsborn, Rerik, Heligendamm, and many more.

A sailing trip aboard the Wismar cog “Wissemara,” departing from the beautifully designed Wismar harbor, offers a hands-on medieval experience.

Or experience the maritime atmosphere on a harbor tour—a relaxing blend of maritime history, industrial culture, and stunning views of the historic old town.

“Karl’s Strawberry Village,” a unique blend of amusement park, rustic farmers’ market, artisan workshops, and culinary experiences, is also a very popular destination for visitors of all ages.

You can explore the beautiful countryside on bike and hiking trails.

Nearby, the beach resorts in Neukloster and Warin (each about a 10-minute drive away) invite visitors to enjoy a relaxing stay with dining options, pedal boating, rowing, swimming, and a playground (admission is free at both locations).
Shopping and dining options are also available in both of these “little towns.”
The ÖPMV (bus) is a 5-minute walk away.
The nearest airports are Rostock-Laage, Lübeck, and Hamburg.

Please specify your pet’s breed and size in your inquiry. We charge a fee of €10.00 per night to cover the increased cleaning costs.
Unfortunately, in the past, bringing pets has increasingly led to significant messes, which considerably increase the cleaning effort. To keep the apartment clean for subsequent guests (including those with allergies), the following rules apply:
Pets are strictly prohibited from sofas, armchairs, chairs, and beds. Please bring your own dog bed or a suitable blanket. In the event of exceptional messes, we will have to charge separately for the additional cleaning costs.
