Vacation home "Graureiher" - also ideal for cyclists and paddlers in the Recknitz Valley

Welcome to the "Graureiher" vacation home—your little retreat surrounded by nature. Tucked away among gardens and far from the noise of the street, you’ll find a cozy oasis here spanning about 30 square meters, where you’ll wake up to the sound of birdsong in the morning. The cottage still exudes a bit of that ’80s charm, but thanks to central heating and running hot water, it offers every comfort year-round. Its nooks and crannies give it a soul and a history, creating an atmosphere of immediate comfort and warmth.

It’s ideal for couples and small families, but also warmly welcomes active vacationers and waterway travelers looking for a relaxing stopover on their journey.

Outside, you can enjoy a direct view of the Buchenberg from your private terrace, where gray herons nest every year. Since the house is nestled in our small, natural garden—which we, as the owners, tend to with care—we’re sure to run into each other every now and then on the green paths. The location is a dream for explorers:, If you bring your bikes, you can store them in a dry place here and set off directly on the bike paths to Ribnitz-Damgarten or Bad Sülze. Explore the “Amber City” of Ribnitz-Damgarten or visit Bad Sülze, known for its salt heritage and the colorful Dahlia Festival. Nature lovers in particular will find plenty to enjoy in the “Unteres Recknitztal” nature reserve, and the Recknitz River itself is a wonderful, peaceful spot for paddling. The famous Marlow Bird Park is also just a short walk away, and for a day at the beach, the fine sandy beach on the Baltic Sea in Dierhagen is only a short drive away.
