Living with a view of the countryside and the Elbe

The vacation apartment is located on the upper floor of our charming, historic thatched-roof house and offers you a spacious layout with bright, welcoming rooms. You’ll feel the relaxed atmosphere the moment you arrive: fresh Elbe air outside, warmth, tranquility, and a great attention to detail inside.

A real highlight is the location right on the water. From the kitchen, you can watch the ships passing by on the Elbe—from small sailboats to large container ships. In the living room, on the other hand, you can enjoy an unobstructed view across vast fields and experience beautiful sunsets as well as the tranquility of country life.

Sleep & Relax

Our accommodation features two separate bedrooms, both equipped with comfortable double beds measuring 1.80 m x 2.00 m. High-quality mattresses, a quiet location, and the relaxing surroundings ensure restful nights.

In addition, the living room features a high-quality sleeper sofa with a real mattress, which comfortably sleeps two additional guests. This makes the apartment ideal for families, friends, or couples who are traveling together but still appreciate having plenty of space to retreat to.

For stays of 5 nights or more, an evening in our cozy outdoor sauna is already included. Enjoy the unobstructed view across the fields, feel the tranquility of the North, and leave your everyday life behind.

If you’re staying with us for a shorter time but would still like to use the sauna, please feel free to ask us—we’ll arrange everything for you at a fair flat rate.

Outdoor Area & Location Right on the Dike

Our accommodations are located right on the dike. Just a few steps away is the Abbenfleth beach on the Elbe—a wonderful, sandy natural beach for relaxing, taking a walk, or watching the ships go by.

Especially nice for dog owners: The beach also has a separate section for dogs. Four-legged friends are very welcome here.

The Elbe Cycle Route—one of Germany’s most beautiful bike paths—also runs right outside our door. Perfect for long rides along the Elbe.

Our location combines idyllic nature with exciting excursion opportunities. In no time at all, you can reach the beautiful old town of Stade with its historic half-timbered houses, small boutiques, restaurants, and picturesque harbor.

Also nearby is the historic Grauerort Fortress—a special destination for history buffs and photographers.
