Welcome to "Wedding Diaries" – Your Idyllic Country Cottage on Ærø
Hi! My name is Alina, and I’m originally from Hamburg. In 2016, I got married on the beautiful island of Ærø and instantly fell completely in love with its magic. Three years later, we bought our dream house here—a cozy countryside escape we lovingly call "Wedding Diaries". We would absolutely love to welcome you here to write your own unforgettable stories.

Our charming double house is nestled in a picturesque setting, surrounded by stunning mustard and wheat fields. If you’re lucky, you might even spot horses grazing peacefully in the backyard. Here, you will experience true peace, authentic Danish hygge, and plenty of space for the whole family or a large group of friends.

What Awaits You in Your Private Cottage Half
You will be staying in a completely private, self-contained half of the house, featuring its own private entrance, a massive garden, and full amenities. The historic guest wing of the house dates all the way back to 1795 and is bursting with character!

Bedrooms: 4 cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds.

Living & Dining: A spacious, relaxing living room and a large, fully equipped kitchen featuring a cozy dining nook.

Bathroom: An inviting bathroom—our own little gem.

Outdoor Space: A massive 2,400 sq. m garden, absolutely perfect for soaking up sunny days, unwinding, or hosting fun barbecue nights with friends.

Historic Charm & Cozy Vibes: > Because our house boasts a history of nearly 200 years, the ceilings are lower than in modern homes. Underneath the rustic wooden beams, the standing height is approximately 1.90 m, and 2.00 m elsewhere. This is exactly where the home's unique charm lies! Especially during the winter, these traditional low Danish ceilings ensure the house stays cozy and warm for a long time once the central heating or the charming wood-burning stove is turned on.

Perfect for Large Groups (Up to 18+ Guests)
The entire property consists of two separate semi-detached units. When you book, you get one full half to yourself (comfortably accommodating up to 9 guests). Traveling with an even bigger group? No problem at all!

Together, both sides can host up to 18 people (9+9) in proper beds. If you are planning a getaway for a large group or have extra guests joining, just send me a message and we will almost always find a wonderful solution for you.
