Bungalow encantador y ecléctico de 1925

Mi casa es un bungalow artesanal de 1925 en un antiguo vecindario establecido en el centro de Memphis. El precio del alquiler incluye toda la casa. Nos mudamos cuando se alquila la casa. Tenga en cuenta que tenemos un perro y un gato. Se trasladan con nosotros, pero si tiene alergias a las mascotas, debe tenerlo en cuenta. La decoración incluye arte local y arte popular internacional que hemos recopilado de nuestros viajes. Tenemos un gran porche en el porche delantero. El dormitorio tiene una cama queen size y hay un sofá amplio y muy cómodo en la sala de televisión para una tercera persona. El salón y el comedor son amplios y abiertos. Hay un patio trasero y un patio cercado que es adecuado para perros (solo se porta bien, por favor). Creo que mi casa es adecuada para niños maduros. Tengo una cama queen size y proporciono sábanas y ropa de cama. Estoy ubicado a .9 millas del zoológico de Memphis, a 1. 3 millas de Rhodes College y a unos pasos de la ruta de senderismo Vollintine Evergreen. Se permite fumar en el porche o patio trasero, pero no en la casa.

The coolest Artsy House in a sweet little neighborhood!

The host created a wonderful world for one to enjoy in Memphis! So many interesting pieces and features to this place! Awesome neighborhood, close to everything! The host even had a wonderful setup for available adult beverages! Highly recommend this house!

Interesting and entertaining bungalow!

Great house for my visiting parents and dog. We enjoyed all the sitting areas and all the wonderful artwork throughout the property. Host was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Very clean and nice personal touches were included. Highly recommend!

Excellent value

The home was a great value and gave our vacation a more personal feel. The location was great to enjoy both Beale St. and the Overton entertainment district. The flexibility with allowing us to bring our pup along and the contained back yard was very welcome. Great responsiveness from Olivia when we had questions.

Fantabulous Stay

Property is so charming and homey. We had decorations for halloween inside and out. Nice touch. Puppies loved the big back yard and we loved the jacuzzi. Interior is super unique and wonderfully cozy. If we need another stay in town, this will be our choice. We loved it all.

Memphis Memories

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olivia's bungalow. The location was great for shopping, restaurants and getting downtown within 10-15 minutes. The decor in the house was indeed eclectic and interesting. The kitchen was well stocked and the honor bar was a welcome source of snacks and drinks. We brought our dog with us and she was very comfortable. We would stay with Olivia again if our travels take us to Memphis.

I've stayed here once before, and it was everything positive that I remember. Adorable little bungalow that is so well decorated and eclectic, you might not even want to leave. Olivia was wonderful. We absolutely loved her little home perfect location. Really cool decor. If we are back in the area this is definitely where we will stay. Hot tub was very nice for a relaxing evening after adventuring around town. When we first got there and walked in alexia was playing blues music I thought that was a cool personal welcoming touch.

Colorful, funky place

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We loved the colorful and interesting decor. Our favorite room was the front porch, where we could just relax after a busy day and enjoy a beverage and listen to the birds. Olivia's notebook included local restaurants, activities, and how to get around and where to park in downtown Memphis, which was helpful and very much appreciated. The location was great and quiet. The hot tub was wonderful.

Older well maintained home with lots of room inside and out.

Very fun home with wonderful amenities. Very nice enclosed front porch and fenced in front and rear yards. Easy Uber or Lyft rides anywhere you need to go. Very nice walking trails right down the road. Olivia and Vincent love Memphis and are very glad to share their tips and tricks. Loved it!

The best VRBO experience ever!

What a wonderful charming place, perfectly located for a casual stay-in or easy access to interesting neighborhoods and restaurants and local sights....and what a kind and accommodating host. My brother and I gathered there for a long-postponed reunion, to cook and talk and take walks and drink a little beer. We LOVED the front screened-in porch, the interesting and cool back yard (give that fire pit a try!), the well stocked larder, the art...really just everything. RECOMMENDED AS BEST VRBO IN MEMPHIS

Artistically delightful Accommodation

I was pleasantly surprised by the special little touches and details, such as the honor bar (providing snacks, beverages). This house is filled with a plethora of character & folk art giving it that "Mississippi Magic". They open their home to you stocked with anything you would need for a comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located within about 15 minutes of anywhere in the city. The Memphis Zoo is nearby and was a nice way to spend a day. If you want some great BBQ try Central City, its delicious ! I would absolutely stay there again. A true gem

Warm and Inviting

We enjoyed staying here from the moment we walked in, Olivia has literally thought of everything when it comes to hosting people in her home. We couldn't have had any more amenities at a hotel that costs twice the price and 1/2 of the space. The yard is perfect and our small dogs could run around without us fearing they would escape. I want to come back in the summer to experience the outdoors more, it was so rainy and cold when we visited. The location is perfect for getting around to see all the sites in Memphis. I have never been to Memphis before and was worried about safety, but we felt extremely safe in this neighborhood, the neighbors waived to us and it was just a great experience overall. We will be staying here again next time we come to Memphis for sure!!

This truly was our home away from home!

Olivia is the best hostess! Her eclectic home is full of love and creativity, clean, and smelled great. So much to look at, just as the pictures show. The first morning pancakes were awesome, the local beers, wine, and beverages she provides are extensive, and very reasonably priced. The guide information made it very easy to navigate the city and surrounding areas. Close to all Memphis attractions, and yet in a neighborhood, where we even got to know the boy from across the street! We started each day dallying on the front porch, and ended each evening in the cozy TV room, watching Netflix or the local news. This was our first trip to Memphis, we did the music tour, seeing the Rock and Soul Museum, Stax Records, Graceland, and our favorite stop, Sun Recording Studio. So much history and amazing things to do in this city, and we only scratched the surface. We'll definitely be back, and next time we're bringing our dogs, they'll love the backyard. We loved it so much, we searched houses for sale in the same neighborhood, who knows, we may become Memphians ourselves! Thank you Olivia and Vincent!

HIGHEST Recommendation

This is such a gem of a find. I can't overstate how pleased I was with my stay. The location is great, and within minutes of anything you would want to see in Memphis. The bungalow itself was darling, with plenty of room, a huge sun porch, and a beautiful backyard that was perfect for my two pups. However, my favorite things about my stay were the little touches Olivia provided to make sure we were comfortable. There was a binder welcoming us with a ton of great information about Memphis and the neighborhood. There were fresh flowers on the table and a delicious aperitif tray in the fridge awaiting us. The house was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need during your stay, including toiletries, cooking ingredients, Wifi, Netflix, and a fully stocked cash bar, which we partook in heavily. :) Not only that, but Olivia has obviously put a lot of love into her place by showcasing her personality and the objects through her many travels. Every time I looked around, I saw something new and interesting. By the end of our trip, I felt that she had become a good friend of ours. I really can't recommend this place enough. My sister, my mom, my two doggo babies, and I had the best possible time for my 40th birthday, and Olivia made sure we truly felt at home in Memphis.

Cozy home in a quiet neighborhood close to the zoo

We've rented several homes through VRBO and this one didn't let us down! We were in Memphis for a wedding at the zoo and we couldn't have picked a better location. It was literally 5 minutes away. Weeks prior to our arrival, I was able to reached Olivia via email and she responded very quickly and answered all my questions. She even sent us her guide to Memphis attractions and eats prior to our arrival which was a first and very appreciated! I just wish we had more time to explore all her suggestions! Her house was well stocked and it really did feel like home. Her spice cabinet was very extensive as was her liquor and drink selection. She even had all the ingredients to make pancakes ready for us to make the next morning but we don't eat them otherwise we would have enjoyed them! Another plus was Netflix, we had access to hundreds of Movies :) The only tiny "negative" to our experience is there had been a cat in the house weeks prior that we weren't informed of until we got there and I am allergic to them, but luckily I had my allergy meds and I was not having much of a reaction. But I wouldn't let that stop me from staying there again. So overall, it was a wonderful experience and way better than staying at a hotel with no personality and way too much traffic. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed Memphis! Thank you Olivia!

Loved staying here

This home is absolutely perfect for a cozy stay in Memphis. It’s located right along a walking trail and has a lovely screened in porch for nice weather. I used the hot tub multiple times, which was a dream. The house smells nice and is neat and clean, and has lots of interesting artwork to wander around and look at. The back yard is fenced in, so if you bring a pet they can stretch their legs. The fireplace was so cozy and warm and their little tv room was soo comfy and dark, the perfect nap spot. I would recommend it to anyone staying here.

Perfect for us.

We had a great stay. This property is very close to just about everything. My wife made the comment that everytime we went somewhere, it was less than 15 minutes. Sun Records, Stax Records, Larraine Motel, Beale Street...all so close. It's an older home with a screened in porch. We are smokers so it was great to see an ash tray on the patio table. The hot tub was a huge bonus. It worked well and after the pool area in the hotel we stayed at the night before was closed, it was great to hang out in the hot tub here. The neighborhood was quiet as well. The hosts seem to know what they are doing. There were snacks and beverages available for a very low cost. We are non-drinkers but appreciated the sentiment with the offered adult beverages in the home. It's comfortable too. Many places to hang out. TV is well loaded with a firestick but we had trouble finding the Masters and ended up live streaming it on my computer. Had a great time here. Memphis definately has a personality of it's own! Loved the history and music. Don't shy away from the recommendations of the host for food and places to go. We did twice and had some horrible service at some local restaurants. We had some great service too. The Cafe Eclectic was a favorite!

Hi, I'm Olivia and I have lived in Memphis for many years. I grew up north of New Orleans and my husband and I love travelling and have seen quite a bit of the world. We both love folk art and I enjoy bluegrass and folk music. We have been thrilled by all of the recent additions to Memphis, especially the farm to table restaurants and the bike trails.

I knew I wanted to live in mid-town Memphis. When I started shopping for homes THIS was the house that was made for me. The HUGE screened in porch and the big open living/dining area sold me right away.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

When I was shopping for a house my real estate agent said to relax because I would 'know' when I found the right match. When I saw the huge screened in porch I was excited but when I saw the huge open living and dining space I was sold! The back yard patio is a bonus as well.
And the huge oak trees create the shadiest therefore coolest back yard.
