Outdoor entertainment includes several games to choose from: Full length Bocce court, Corn Hole Toss, Dart Board, Ring Toss, Badmitton. Let your imagination run wild, creating family fun and laughter together!

After spending your day out and exploring, come back to cook away in our AWARD winning Gourmet 'Country Kitchen Magazine'. Plenty of room for all to gather while 3 or more cooks create in the kitchen. Enjoy friends and family in this open concept 16 seat dining area. Cook, talk, serve wine and cheese all the while being included in the fun. Featuring granite counter tops, Kitchen Aid Commercial-Style Gas Range w/double oven and griddle, 16 seat dining room table.

Hayes Pond: just down the professionally maintained dirt road, 1/2 mile walk leads you to a pristine and picturesque 30 acre spring/mountain fed private small lake; 2 areas for water access, one with a small grassy area for chairs, one area good for boat access. 3 person canoe, 2 -4 person paddle boat (all provided). Allows you to fish and swim. Big mouth bass and pickerel are only a worm away!

Perfect property with all amenities and lawn sport toys for 3 generations to enjoy, 5 seniors, 6 parents, and 5 littles played bocce ball, croquet and badminton on the various lawns and swam and used the paddle boat on the little and big ponds. The kitchen and dining area was big enough for many hands and seats, and the 2 different video screens allowed both kid and adult movies to be enjoyed simultaneously.

Seclusion and space for the whole family…

Our extended family stayed at this beautiful home in the woods for a long weekend, Friday to Monday. It really felt like a home- not just a house. The house was spacious, comfortable, charming, with lots of places to relax. The kitchen was outstanding. The patio, bocce court and gas grill were equally enjoyable. It is extremely secluded and a bit remote, so even though it was 10 miles from a big grocery store, it took over 20 minutes to get there. The access to the paddle boat and canoe at the nearby pond, as well as the Otis Public beach (20 minutes away) were great diversions. We also enjoyed excursions to Stockbridge, Lee and Great Barrington. I was concerned about 2 ½ baths for 15 people but this worked out fine for us. This house is highly recommended!!

We had the most wonderful stay! The house is absolutely beautiful, and every detail has been thought of. The kitchen was a delight to cook in, with every thing you could ever possibly need. The yard and patio were so peaceful, the beds were cozy, and the living area was perfect for game night. We had a perfect stay. Thank you so much!

Amazing house

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend with friends in this house, everything was perfect for adults and kids. It’s better than the pictures ! It’s the perfect place for 4 families to cook and spend nice and warm time together.

issue with one of beds upstairs

My grandson slept on top of the comfort and when he awoke he was bothered all night by something on the bed. When Jack woke up he found rat/mouse large pellets on his bed where he slept all night. They were green pellets. I guess the cleaning people forgot to get rid of them. ugh We do love staying there!! Thanks again John especially for the wine and choclates!! Diane

Family Celebration

Wonderful home for our 15 person family celebration. Great large dining room for us all and gourmet kitchen where we all could participate in preparing meals. Bocce and badminton was fun and sitting around a fire on the patio. Went kayaking and canoeing on the lake and enjoyed the beautiful gardens. Such a well equipped and comfortable home.

Amazing home

House is wonderful, exactly as described. Fabulous for groups or family reunions. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare any meal. Our only regret is that we weren't around enough to really enjoy the property as we were in town for a wedding and were very busy. The road to the house was a tiny bit tricky late at night. But overall everything was amazing and would love to come back to really enjoy the property.

Family Vacation

Very quiet, out in the woods

Beautiful home, spacious. Not near stores, but we knew that going in. Grounds are beautiful, kitchen well-stocked with dishes and pans, switches very well labelled, and excellent instructions left for us on-site. The gardens are top-notch, very impressive.

Idyllic family vacation in Otis

This property worked really well for our three-generation family gathering. The kids loved their stay in the loft, and each couple/adult had their own bedroom with ample storage space. The beds were comfortable, and the attic fan and breezes kept us cool in 90 degree weather. The garden and patio are lovely places to relax and spot salamanders, hummingbirds, and even (once!) a black bear in the back woods. The house was well-stocked with kitchen supplies necessary to feed a large family, plenty of puzzles, games and toys for multiple ages, and books. All TV and internet hookups worked well, though we didn't use them often since there was plenty to keep us busy. The bocce court was a huge hit, and we made ample use of the lower lawn for volleyball and other lawn games. The pond was a huge hit as well. We really appreciated that the hosts made life jackets and boating equipment easy to access, with jackets for every age group in our party (infant to adult). While we were traveling with some of our own boating supplies, this meant everyone could be out on on the water together. We took advantage of the great location to visit The Mount, hike some local trails, and visit Lee and Great Barrington for coffee, ice cream, and shopping. Our hosts were great communicators, too! We appreciated their diligence and responsiveness.

Family Reunion

The house accommodated our large group wonderfully. Extremely well equipped - we cooked many large meals and found everything we needed. The property is gorgeous. We range in age from 4 to 81 and it was comfortable and fun for all of us. Thank you!!

Family weekend

Great location to host a large family. Our teens loved the loft. We enjoyed many hours in the library playing games and relaxing. The patio, yard games and fire pit were fantastic. The pond down the road was great for the kids fishing and for a quick dip. Beautiful property. Would love to go back!

Family Thanksgiving

Our family stayed in this beautiful oasis and had a great time. Everyone had a place to sleep and there was a pack n play onsite that worked great for our children. The house sits on a hill so it is HIGHLY recommended to have a 4 wheel or ALL wheel drive vehicle. The owners are very responsive and they were very helpful when I asked them for help with items around the house. We would highly recommend this house to families who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The premium outlets and Big Y was 20 min away and Springfield was 45 min away. Our family took a trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame and everyone enjoyed it.

Otis rental

Very spacious home - perfect for 8 adults! House and amenities as described. Super easy check-in. Very well-equipped kitchen. Played indoor and outdoor games, used fire pit and watercraft. Unusually hot, humid, rainy weather made it difficult for dehumidifiers to keep up with dampness.

Family friendly

We loved the big country kitchen that made meal prep and mealtime so much fun for our large family. We also really enjoyed the garden, the games, the pond for fishing and boating, and the local town beach with our littlest vacationers. Super easy check in and check out, though I might have inadvertently swiped a box of corn starch that was not ours - whoops. Happy to replace!

We have been coming to the Berkshires for over 25 yrs. There is a energy and warmth to this area that is undeniable. We decided to build a home based around family. We built it with enough room to 'grow' our families all together. We have spent many a Thanksgiving and holidays enjoying the fun this house offers. The love that is in this home is apparent as soon as you enter.
