Great stay

Great place beautiful view from balcony. We loved the sunset views. My husband enjoyed the fishing from the side of the property. To d of food options and activities nearby. Has everything if you plan on cooking. We only found ourselves in need of salt and pepper lol

Great stay

The place was perfect, the view, the pool and amenities of the condos were nice. It is not right on the beach you have to walk to the actual sand part, you do see the beach from the room. Not close to the Malecon, it's a 5 min drive if that. Overall good stay though, close to other restaurants, quad rentals.

We are happy you enjoyed your stay, and would love to host you again. You are right, we have a private sand area above a rock wall, and about a 200 yard walk in front of the resort and Peñasco Del Sol to Sandy Beach. Although it is approximately a 5 minute drive, the Pinacate is the closest resort to the marina and malecón.

Gorgeous view!!

We were thankful to have a set of bunkbeds as well as a double bed in the kid’s room. Sand toys and children’s books as well as a washer & dryer were welcome bonuses. Owners were quick in their communication whenever we had questions. The view from the master bedroom and living room is beautiful.

Spring Break Boys

Very nice place with all the necessary essentials for stay including a full kitchen and a laundry room in the condo as well. Beautiful view of the pool area and water. Spacious enough for 7 people. The wifi was really bad though but you don't come there to sit in the room on your laptop. The owner was very welcoming. Great for spring breakers!!!

Thank you Franklin. A brand new air conditioning unit was actually installed the day before your arrival. It was tested but perhaps the unit was still cooling down. We appreciate your feedback, and have processed a partial refund for your discomfort. We hope to see you again.

Won't be coming back

There were no towels / no wifi except the lobby and only on occasion and it was a 15 minute walk to the beach-also the refrigerator was only mildly cool never got cold.

Curtis, I am following up with the onsite rental company to understand what happened to the towels. You requested a location closer to the marina, and I tried to be upfront about the 200 yard walk to the beach - 15 minutes is an exaggeration. I appreciate your follow-up saying you and the boys enjoyed your stay. As you know, I have provided a refund of more than half the rental as a way to apologize for any inconvenience. Sewer Gas, Old property

The Master bathroom ended up being none usable due to a fowl odor coming from it. We were initially told that there were no washcloths and after contacting the host we magically received them and they tried to address the bathroom smell. Overall, the place is dated, no restaurant or swim up bar on site. Paying for a 2 bed, 2 bath, but ending up with a 2 bed 1 bath sucked. The host did compensate for the bathroom fiasco.

A great safe place close to beach, but in need of updates

Overall, this was a great place to stay for our family. We felt very safe at the property which was our biggest concern. The gated parking lot with attendants around the clock was great! The master bed was big and comfy, but the beds in the 2nd bedroom were all pretty uncomfortable and squeaky. The resort itself was very nice. Great pool and outdoor area and view! Make sure you bring your own pool towels. The inside of the condo was fine and clean but could really use some updating. The metal chairs are rusting, the couches are old and the big one has a wooden plank under it to fix it which makes it very uncomfortable. The fridge was pretty small but it suited our needs. We really appreciated the washer and dryer. The main street you travel down to get to the condo can be pretty intense and busy. Tons of vendors, side by sides with music blaring, and the partying were a little much for a family of 5 to navigate trying to walk down the street, where no traffic rules are enforced. There was good beach access. We enjoyed being able to rent an umbrella, but the vendors at the beach are non-stop until you get into the water! Overall, I would recommend this condo due to safety and proximity to beach.

The condo was great except I wish we would have had some extra towels. Wish we could have had some condiments for our breakfast like salt pepper etc but other than that everything else was awesome

Excellent Location

Great place to stay at Rocky Point and its location is perfect, your pretty much close to anything you want to do in Rocky Point. We recommend anyone that is planning on going to Rocky Point to stay here. Easy check in process, the owners answer any question you might have in a timely manner, and you feel real welcome by the owners. Great location.

To begin this is a great location. It’s within walking distance of tons of places to eat. 30 min walk to the fish market. The problem we had is when we got there the place was really dirty. Salsa dried in the counter and on the floor. The rug was terrible. We couldn’t walk without shoes. The sheets were thin and dirty and the bedspread had not been cleaned. I contacted the owner. He wax very responsive and said he didn’t know he got someone to come up. She brought me new clean bedding. And assured me it would be cleaned the next day. It was. There are some things the cleaners are responsible for and other things the owner is responsible for. I understand he hasn’t visited for awhile and hope he cleans things up and replaces things that are just mildewed and damaged. I also understand that with the amount if people renting the unit it’s impossible to keep things in good shape. Which is the reason I’m not giving lower scores. We had a great few days.

charming and comfortable stay!

The condo was super cute and clean! It was very comfortable and felt like home. Had no issues at all finding the property and it was safe as it had security and the parking was supervised. I highly recommend this place especially if staying with your family!

Marina Pinacate at the end of the beach.

We enjoyed our stay. Kids had fun in the pool. Beach is a short walk down beside the condos and hotel. Food is within walking distance. The kids loved having the bunk beds.

First time visit to Puerto Peñasco

This was our first time visiting P.P and we were very happy. Brent responded to my initial inquiry about his property on a timely manner and answered any questions I had. The property was situated on a great location close to beach, food, shops. I was hesitant at first since we were traveling with kids having to haul cooler, canopy, toys...ect. to this off site beach. But, it was a very easy walk with no problem with kids and all. The check in process was very easy we arrived a little early and the room was ready for us. The rooms were very clean and the thermostat was working great perfect for this very hot and humid July weekend. The bedrooms had working T.V's (limited channels) for bedtime and 2 DVD players (strongly encourage to bring movies for the Kiddos). Not a big deal since we were out all day. The pool was nice seating around the pool are limited so if you like to lay out claim your spot early or bring your own chair. I brought almost everything from home but the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. The washer/dryer was a life saver nothing is worse than coming home with suitcases fully of dirty laundry. The only issue we did have was the very poor WiFi service (none) in the room. The lobby did have service but not in our room we enjoy listening to music. Overall, I would highly recommend this property it was a great first time. Thank you Brent and your family for allowing us into your beautiful home.

Ideal location!

Our family of 8 had such a great time staying at the Carr family’s property. Most importantly we were a short walk to the beach-that’s key when you’re dragging stuff for 6 kids along with you! The condo pools were great too. We loved that an ATM was just steps away. The condo itself had beautiful views (including the fireworks from the pirate ship), and comfortably fit us all. Brent was very quick to answer my questions before our visit. And the directions to get there were simple to follow. Shopping and food are all within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Loved being walking distance to so much. The Pinacate grounds are well kept, and recently redone. Only resort on the beach with fire pit on the beach for chilly nights. Unit has WiFi, great views from patio, and comfy master bed
