Holiday Weekend with Family
At first glance everything thing seems nice. But then when we went into each room several light bulbs were either missing or burnt out making rooms dark. The rollaway beds were either missing slats and sagged or the mattresses were in bad shape. Some of the bedding was old and tearing. When we went in the spa, we could not find extra towels and there were only enough bath towels, one for each person, we had to dry our towel before we could use them for our shower. Supplies were very short, we barely had enough toilet paper to last seven people for three days. We had one small roll of paper towels, which did not last the weekend we were only given four washcloths for seven people. Supplies in the kitchen were at a minimum. If you plan on doing any cooking or baking, you’ll need to bring your own supplies like cookie sheets, a can opener. Don’t assume items will be available, if it’s not listed on the amenities it’s probably not there, like a hair dryer, laundry detergent or wine glasses. Overall we had a nice time. Megan was super responsive and helpful and brought over a few things we needed right away. My kids loved the spa and did morning yoga on the deck. We baked cookies and made pizzas and improvise with a small baking pan.
