Acurrucado en el campo, en el corazón del Parque Natural de Perche, esta encantadora casa es un hermoso lugar para una familia o unas vacaciones de una pareja. El piso del ático con dos dormitorios, baño y pueden alojar hasta 6 personas. En la planta baja se puede encontrar un precioso cuarto de baño con WC separado, una amplia sala de TV con chimenea, una cocina con una mesa de comedor y amplia sala de estar con sus impresionantes chimeneas y un patio con vistas a la piscina y el parque. La casa está elegantemente decorado con detalles auténticos para resaltar el ambiente típico francés. La piscina y el hermoso parque (1 acre) completan el escenario.

Muchas actividades agradables, tanto en interiores como al aire libre están disponibles: Día camina o excursiones en bicicleta por la fascinante "Vía Verde" (vía verde), que pasa a través de los parques regionales Normandie-Maine y Perche, y es una actividad multi-pista construida en el 65 km del antiguo ferrocarril Alençon / Condé-sur-Huisne; Jugar al golf en el campo de golf muy tranquila y hermosa de Belleme, paseos a caballo en uno de los numerosos centros cercanos a la casa, visitar los hermosos pueblos de los alrededores (Le Perriere, Mortagne au Perche, Belleme, Moutiers). O, simplemente, descansando junto a la chimenea con un buen libro, escuchar música, ver películas en DVD o SKY TV.

Great location

The house and the surroundings were beautiful. The swimming pool was great. We sometimes had to leave the house because the neighbour was renovating the roof of his house. The owner of the holiday home contacted the neighbour what we appreciate

Peaceful and relaxing home from home

My wife and I have just returned to the UK after a fantastic relaxing holiday at Brumenfret. From Calais it was about a four hour drive - amazing that the sat nav found Brumenfret and guided us right to the door. We were made welcome by a lovely French lady who showed us around. The house felt just like home as we walked in with all those little items that made us welcome - as mentioned elsewhere salt, pepper and oil was to hand as well as an ample supply of toiletries. The house was exactly as described with lots of room and a big kitchen which was used a lot as we prefer to eat in most of the time. Mortange Au Perche is close by with two excellent supermarkets - Super U and Intermarche - so fresh provisions were always available. The garden is fantastic especially if you travel with children and there are games available for them to use. Whilst the pool was not heated, the cover meant that we were able to use it most days. The peace and tranquility is to be experienced when so close to a moderately sized town and for us, the lack of a seagull dawn chorus was very welcome. If you want total privacy, peace and quiet you will find it in abundance. We highly recommend this little haven.

Coulimer - Maison avec parc et piscine

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour d'une semaine dans cette maison de campagne tranquille. Les photos ne rendent pas l'impression de grande taille par rapport au réel, ce qui est une bonne surprise. La maison n'est pas toute récente, elle mériterait quelques touches de rénovation notamment au niveau des sanitaires (à changer, le système des douches) mais on s'y sent très bien. Tout y est pour passer des moments de convivialité, le grand salon, la grande cuisine, la piscine ! Nous mettons une note globale de 4/5 car nous avons souffert du manque de réseau. Très compliqué de passer des appels téléphoniques ou naviguer sur internet (ne pas prévoir de télétravail). J'ai pu m'entretenir au téléphone et par Whatsapp avec Ersilia et son mari, ils sont sympathiques, très arrangeants et réactifs dans les échanges. Nous avons été accueillis par un charmant couple sur place qui ne sont pas les propriétaires, super disponibles et adorables. Merci à Chantal pour son très bon accueil et ses conseils !

Belle propriété au calme, adaptée aux enfants avec le grand jardin. Un point de déception pour nous cependant, avec un abri de piscine non rétractable du fait de sa vétusté. Nous aurions aimé en être avertis. Grande réactivité des propriétaires à nos questions cependant, et prestations globalement conformes à l’annonce. (Sauf le micro onde absent) Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, un tout petit peu moins enthousiasmant que nous avions imaginé.

The swimming pool cover is planned to be replaced by a very modern, user friendly, model in winter 2021. Due to CoVid it was not possible to replace it in 2020 as it was planned.

Great holiday, fantastic house, lovely environment!

We had a great holiday here. The house has everything that is needed to enjoy a fantastic holiday with children, and it looks even better than on the picture. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the ping pong table and lot's of other games, the nice garden...and the lovely region. Lot's of nice hiking & biking trails, maybe not the big touristic attractions, but just that made it even more special and relaxing!

Prachtig gelegen in rustige omgeving. Authentiek huis met grote tuin en mooi zwembad. Keurig verzorgd. Interieur huis is donker en verdiend misschien een update. maar heerlijke vakantieweek gehad en tot rust gekomen.

Off The Beaten Track.

The Gite is in the heart of the countryside and is secluded apart from one house next door, but the gardens are shielded by trees. It is 10 minutes drive from the lovely town of Mortagne-au-Perche. It has good facilities and is very quiet. There was good communication throughout the process from the owner, Ersilia. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Un très bon séjour

La maison est magnifique, très au calme loin de tout voisin! Le jardin est très beau, la piscine peut être recouverte et garde donc bien le chaud. Seul point pour que tout soit parfait, il n'y a pas de lave linge ni de micro-ondes ce qui n'est pas pratique avec des enfants ! A part ça très bon contact avec les propriétaires qui vous envoient plein de conseils avant l'arrivée, ils sont très disponible et la personne qui nous a accueillie sur place était adorable. A recommander pour des vacances où se détendre !!

What a gem!

We spent a fabulous week in July 2018. If I could of given 10 stars I would! The home and setting are stunning with every little detail considered for guests! We can’t recommend highly enough and will be staying again! The children ages 3 and 8 quote “this is the best holiday ever” (day 1) “can we come back every year!” Needless to say this was the general feeling of us all! We were able to indulge in real quality family time with no interruption from the outside world! For busy working parents this was precious! Thank you for such a special stay! See you again !

Très bonne semaine de vacances dans la région du perche

Très belle maison au calme proche de toutes commodités. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances en famille malgré une météo mitigé..... La maison est spacieuse avec beaucoup d’agréments à disposition (Ping pong, baby foot, TV+DVD, livres,....) également un joli parc arboré..... Seul petit bémol, l'eau de la piscine un peu froide et l'abri pas pratique

Lovely holiday house for getting away from it all

Thank you so much for a relaxing holiday in the picturesque Normandy countryside. Ample games in the house / gardens etc for the children to use! They had a marvellous time using the pool and spent a good portion of every day there. Most trips out were a little further afield, such as the Castle of William the Conqueror in Falaise, but that just added to the feel of really being able to get away from it all. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice place to be !

We had a great week in this lovely house this summer. It's very quiet, functional and clean. Everything's needed is present, except maybe the washing machine. Swimming pool isn't warmed but, with the good sun of August, it was warm enough for daily use. All the family enjoyed and recommend this place !

A lovely base in Southern Normandy

We went with our 3 kids: 6yr, 4yr & 18mo. Easy to find, and approx 2hrs from Caen. This is clearly a much-loved home, and the owners are very generous with it. Cider in the fridge on arrival, kitchen basics available (nice not to have to buy salt etc). Good communication before, and during our stay. Lots of information available for things to do. The house and garden are much bigger than the photos suggest, and its in a lovely peaceful location. There are 3 large bedrooms: 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs, which wasn't ideal for us but would be OK if kids were older. The pool is unheated but has a hard semi-circular all-enclosing cover (think polytunnel) that warms it up a bit (& makes it safe for children). Mortagne is a lovely town, with an indoor pool (need speedos not board-shorts), but the thing we most enjoyed about the area was cycling on the voie verte. Perfect for children, lovely scenery. We brought our own bikes but there are several at the property. You definitely need a car though, & cycling directly from the property is probably only for proper road cyclists. Hanging out at the house after a bike ride, in the pool on warm days & playing in the oodles of inside & outside space, was really relaxing. Highly recommended, many thanks

Luxurious stay

Me and my band mate went out to stay here for nearly a month to write and record. It was truly an amazing experience, hidden away we felt we were in the middle of no where, in a huge house with our private pool and so much land- we felt like kings. Bikes were provided to cycle to the nearest towns, also cab numbers for a ten minute drive to the main town and super market. We met some remarkable characters at the Jazz cafe, a 10 min drive from the house, a lovely english couple happy to help and wonderful interpreters to help us interact with the equally great locals. Ecelia and Stefan were always contactable and very helpful, recommended for a peaceful get away and a true experience of France.

Quiet Retreat

An easy drive from the Channel Ports (including those at and around Calais) makes this property very accessible. The house has a rural setting but is only a 10 minute drive from Mortagne-au-Perche with its supermarkets and other facilities. It has lots of space and could easily accommodate more than the four of us (two adults and two children aged 6 and 4). It is well presented and clearly loved by its owners who make available their own recreational items for young & old such as games, table football & a DVD player. The photos on the website don't do justice to the house & garden which were clean & well prepared for our arrival. The owner was very helpful not only when we needed advice about one or two idiosyncrasies of the property but also about places to go and things to do. I'd certainly recommend this property & it's good value too.
