Great place for a family with 2 younger kids!

Nice and clean! Great layout and location. The lanai has a wonderful view of trees and landscape. Close walk to both pools and the Murphy beds are super convenient and easy to pull down/put up.

Have stayed at the MKV 5 times, 2 of them at this particular condo. It has everything you need for a great vacation. Clean and updated. Host was very responsive when needed.

ONE OF THE BEST

This beautifully-appointed condo gave us 12 delightful days in Maui. The kitchen was as well-equipped as my own. The lovely, large loft bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed… and so quiet at night. An easy walk to the pools. Fabulous snorkeling if you walk about 5 minutes north on the beach. Castaway Cafe was so convenient with top notch dinners. We want to come back here again, and stay in this unit if possible.

Great slice of Heaven!

Our stay here was perfect. It was exactly what we were looking for while here for a wedding. Conveniently located one stoplight away from Whalers Village. The beach was a short 5 minute or less walk down the path. Great way to wake up to coffee on the lanai with birds chirping and a view of the beautiful flowers. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We found chairs and umbrella in the closet for the beach. We slept well on the upstairs bed and our teens slept well on the Murphy beds downstairs. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Condo but not 1bdrm

I've been to Kaanapali Villas @10+ times before. The location is beautiful and quiet, as always. The condo unit was equally beautiful. However, the unit was advertised as a one bedroom, yet it is actually a studio loft, as the upstairs bedroom has an open wall above the living room. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.

The beds were great, kitchen had everything we needed, and all was in good working order. The only issue we had was when we first arrived and could not find the thermostat (the air had been turned off prior to our arrival and it was a balmy 85 degrees in the unit). There was no mention of the thermostat in the information book, so that would have been helpful! We eventually found it on the second level. Loved the condo and the property grounds at MKV - would definitely stay again!

We have stayed at the MKV four times, this is the first time in this condo. The grounds are always gorgeous, the pools clean and the staff friendly. This condo had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The large lanai was my favorite part

Great location & property - one major flaw

No question this location can't be beat. Steps from the beach, quiet complex, walkable to a lot of restaurants (and a short drive to more). Fully equipped kitchen, beach gear, etc. Just right for our family of four (two older teens & parents). We did have a maintenance issue that went unresolved while we were there. The downstairs bathroom doorknob was broken, trapping our daughter inside. She was able to take the door off the hinges once we passed some tools through the louvers to her. Let manager know, but it wasn't fixed. Then our other daughter got trapped (we'd been trying to leave the door open, but it blew shut). Again, took the door off and this time just left it. If the girls had been younger or less familiar with tools, we would have had to break the door down to get them out. No one ever came to fix it or even got back to us after it happened. So, it probably won't happen to you, but if you do have an emergency, you're kind of on your own. Overall though, we had a blast and the beach couldn't be beat. Uncrowded, great snorkeling, friendly staff.

Spectacular!! Great location, updated comfortable unit with great lanai and access to Kaanapali Beach Walk. Great beach and lawn area off beach to find shade and watch sunsets. Castaway Cafe was small and friendly and had good food. Close to everything but not congested like many of the bigger resorts. Loved our time here and will be back!!

Piece of paradise

This unit is a nice unit and we loved the location-nice beachwalk both directions. Grounds were kept up and it beat the expense of the resort hotels. Nice, big bathroom downstairs, comfortable bed. Definitely a nice place.
