Great host

A few issues with the carpets, but it was looked after within hours. Great stay and Cindy was great to deal with as was the front desk.

Nice place to stay

Our condo provided plenty of room to enjoy an extended stay for 2. It was adequately furnished and supplied. We enjoyed the larger-than-most screened patio. The unit is close to a pool and other amenities, and we took advantage of the nature trail within the resort. For families, the resort has kid-friendly offerings and it's close to Disney. .

Beautiful condo

This condo was beautiful (the pictures don't do it justice). It was very clean and welcoming. The staff during check it were very friendly. The pools and beach area were very nice too. I 100% recommend this place for a quiet family getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

We've stayed at Bahama Bay several times and this unit did not disappoint. It is spacious, very clean and accommodating. The king bed was comfortable. Cindy made sure basics were there for us, such as dish soap, towels, 1 dishwasher powder pack, a dish sponge, small toiletries in each bathroom. etc. The grounds are lovely with all the pools, ponds and pretty, colourful buildings. Just a tip for new visitors to Bahama Bay. Bring coffee filters, perhaps packets of salt, pepper, an extra white garbage bag, extra dishwasher tabs, so you dont have to buy full containers if you are doing a short stay. I would definitely rent this unit again.

Wonderful Stay

We were a group of four adults and had a excellent time in this condo. For future renters Who will be staying longer than a month, some things to consider is bringing your own sharp knives and we brought an electric fry pan which was wonderful. We also brought a rug for the bathroom but that was our preference. They were a little lacking on blankets so if you tend to run cold you may want to bring your own blankets. We had an overall excellent stay and highly recommend this owner and this resort.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful community with multiple pools, a splash pad, spa, game room, and restaurant. This unit was nicely decorated and just a quick ride down the street from Disney Parks. Communication with the owner was quick and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Davenport!

This was my second time booking this location and will plan to book a third time. Property manager was able to extend my stay twice due to an unexpected delay in my departure for my job. She communicates in a timely manner and is very nice and professional. Staff at clubhouse desk is very polite too. Property is very ideal for my family with teenagers. Spacious screened in patio for morning breakfast and doing work for my job. Spacious and is located on first floor (no steps). The landscape is beautiful and we enjoyed walking the sidewalk trail throughout the resort on the sunny days.

Excellent place for a family vacation

My family of four had a great stay at this property and the resort. Cindy was very professional and pleasing to correspond with. The property was clean, was well furnished overall and with palate pleasing dishes in the kitchen for use. We loved using the various amenities the resort had to offer & will certainly staying back here again

I would recommend to a friend!

Very pleasant stay, front desk was friendly, and the resort was quiet! Good time of year to go; unfortunately, the weather was colder than usual but would reserve again with same owners. Very nice decor, clean, and accommodated our family of 4 perfectly!

Great property, close to Disney

This is a nice, modern property in a gated community. We did not have time during our stay to explore any of the properties amenities (pools, restaurants, etc), but the property is beautiful and well-maintained. About 20 minutes to all the Disney Parks 10-15 minute drive to tons of restaurants (Outback, Applebees, IHOP, etc) and shopping (WalMart, Publix, etc) About 10 minutes from I-4, so access is easy About the unit: There were 4 of us, 2 adults, 2 kids, and the unit had plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable 3 TV's with cable on every one Should have everything you need for a comfortable stay Full size laundry in the unit. Huge plus for long stays, and not having to share or use a coin-op Great central A/C unit that kept the unit very cool, very quickly Why I didn't give it 5 stars: Shower in the master bath was terrible. Low water pressure with a terrible showerhead. Kitchen was lacking in a few of the basics that we've had at other units (salt/pepper, pizza cutter, etc). But it does have plenty of dishes, silverware, etc. Unit is starting to show its age a little bit - white covering on some of the cabinets is peeling, brass fixtures, etc. In the end, none of the Cons should outweigh the Pros if you're considering this unit. I don't give 5 stars unless the unit is perfect, and although this one was close, it wasn't 100%. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Orlando again.

Fabulous condo. Very well appointed

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Only complain t from teenagers is that Wi-Fi was bad!! Condo is well supplied and very comfortable

bahama bay resort vacation

This unit was a 2 bedroom ground floor unit and was all that I had hoped it would be. Very clean and was a great location close to one of the pools. We were missing a remote for the bedroom and called and maintenance sent someone over fairly quickly definitely would stay there again. It was very convenient to Disney and Sea World. Had stayed at this resort back in 2005 and everything was exactly as I remembered it but that time we were on second floor. Would highly recommend this resort and of course this unit because on ground floor.

Beautiful

Check in was easy, Cindy the owner had emailed with the address to put in my GPS. Resort was beautiful, the condo was lovely my family and I felt as if we were home. Beautifully decorated, once we check-in the front desk called to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely rent this condo when we return next year.

Great unit and location - didn't disappoint.

We booked this location for 10 days and were not disappointed. It was close to Disney and all amenities. The unit was very clean and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We tried 3 of the 4 pools and depending what you were looking for they were all great. Front desk were very helpful when I needed something and they always followed up. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had. Not too far away was this beautiful place called celebration. A very nice quiet place to visit if you want a break from the bustling downtown Disney. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody and would definitely come back to this unit. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Very pleased with unit and location

The property was clean located in a nice, quiet location - away from the chaos of Disney. Plenty of amenities. The pools and recreation areas were well maintained. A couple of the front desk people were not very knowledgeable about the area attractions, but were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Awesome Place

We were impressed with the condo the minute we walked in. It was immaculate. It was better looking than the pictures shown online. I was impressed with all the things provided in the kitchen and the bathrooms. It made our month long stay in February very comfortable. We especially liked the mattress on the master bed. Having had back trouble recently, we were a little concerned what the bed would be like. It was terrific! We both had a good night's sleep every night. The location was close to stores if we needed something and also very close to Disney. My husband loved being able to use the hot tub at the pool, which he used almost every day. He met some very nice people who come down here every year. The month went by so quickly. We had no trouble deciding that we wanted to come back again next year for 5 weeks and stay in the same place. Thanks for providing a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing home for a vacation!

Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay!

I had taken a lot of time searching for kid friendly places to stay while we were on vacation and this place was exceptionally kid friendly! Our son loved the pools and the splash pad. The house was lovely and up-to-date as well as having comfortable furniture. I felt at ease being in a gated area. The condo was in the perfect location away from busy city area but close enough that travel times were minimal. We went to Disney's Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom while we were on vacation and Magic Kingdom was about 9 miles away and Animal Kingdom was about 6 miles away, both very easy to get too from the condo. The resort was well kept. The front desk was helpful and staff very friendly. The only problem was ever had was the one day we decided to have lunch at Tradewind's restaurant at the resort we sat for 15 minutes without getting any service or acknowledgment that we were there. We left and the staff at the front desk were super apologetic about the incident and offered to help us in any. It wasn't enough to ruin our trip or ruin our day we just ate elsewhere. The condo had everything we needed to cook with and eat in. It was also stocked with towels and washcloths. There is a Publix grocery store about a mile away or there was a Super Target and Walmart about 3 miles away. This was convenient and cost saving to be able to eat in. The only thing I could've asked for was some cleaning supplies. I kept wanting to clean the floors or wipe down the counters after cooking or getting ready in the bathroom.I probably would've vacuumed had there been one, not because it was messy but just to tidy up like I would typically do at home. On the 3rd day I ended up going to the store and buying cleaning wipes so I could wipe down things just because with a child things get sticky and since it's not a hotel you don't have cleaning service except for the cleaning at the end of your stay and I didn't want to leave things a mess. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and we definitely would book this condo again!

Great value and very peaceful!

Spacious 2 bed/2 bath property - very clean and front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful - the toaster was broken and they replaced it within half an hour! I stayed with my son for 6 nights and I felt it was excellent value for 2 bedrooms! The resort was very quiet in September which meant that I could swim laps for up to an hour with hardly anyone else in the pool most of the time (not necessarily a good idea since I pulled a shoulder muscle and am now having physio!!!). The pool at the clubhouse is great (3 mins walk) but the pool for the 'block' is tiny and I would imagine that it would really busy in high season. Also, as someone else mentioned, there is a paved 3/4 mile nature walk around the lake which I walked around a few times each morning - and I never met anyone else walking or jogging there! Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that. The front desk staff also let us check out at lunch time - obviously if there was a booking the same day this might not have been possible but it was greatly appreciated as our flight back to Europe was not until the evening. Security deposit returned within 48 hours!
