Magnífica villa junto al mar acceso directo por la propiedad al mar, piscina de agua de mar, superficie del terreno 2500 m2, tres grandes terrazas y un solarium junto a la piscina. 4 dormitorios con baño, amplio salón, casa diseñada por un reconocido arquitecto, ubicación excepcional. Cerca del magnífico sitio de los arroyos Cassis que se puede llegar a pie desde la propiedad. Ubicado cerca del restaurante y del club de tenis Presqu'ile. La villa se encuentra a unos 15 minutos a pie del pueblo de Cassis.

Wonderful place

A beautiful, spacious well kept family home. Fantastic location with great oceanside pool. Always seemed to be lots going on in the water in front of you. Stayed here for a week. A good 20 min walk to central Cassis. Our hosts Sylvia and Corinne were very gracious. Would definitely come back.

A Wonderful Stay in Cassis

We rented this VRBO property between 7 friends for a week and were delighted by it's beauty! We had a wonderful time and I think the best way to write a review would be with some pros and cons: Pros: - The saltwater pool and direct access to the roches for swimming is unbeatable. If you love the water, you will love the amenities this house has to offer! - Access to the washer/dryer/clothes hanging line - Kitchen was well appointed with all the dishware and cutlery you would need. The exterior BBQ was also a plus! Cons: - Only one of the bedrooms had screens on the windows, so we faced many many mosquitos and bugs in the evenings, it would be great if the smaller bedrooms could be fitted with window screens, or be sure to pack some bug spray! - Only the master bedroom had a ceiling fan - it would be great if some smaller fans could be made available for the other bedrooms as they did not have as good of air circulation, especially the rooms not facing the water. So be prepared by packing smaller fans or cooling items for these rooms. Some things to note: - While the house is in a lovely location, be prepared for a 20 or so minute walk into town! Not even really a con, just as an FYI. - We loved the saltwater pool, but note that if you need the water changed, there will be several hours of waiting for it to drain and be refilled that may impact your vacation. That being said, our host Corrine was quick and efficient in planning the water change when we requested it!

Séjour magnifique dans un cadre époustouflant

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans un cadre époustouflant, en bordure des calanques et à quelques mètres de la mer. L'intérieur de la villa est assez simple, mais fonctionnel. Comme la météo était clémente, nous avons passé notre temps à l'extérieur. La villa propose plusieurs terrasses, toutes plus agréables les unes que les autres et avec une vue à couper le souffle sur le mont Canaille. L'emplacement est idéal, à l'entrée des Calanques et à quelques minutes en voiture du centre de Cassis. En plus de la magnifique piscine, il y a un accès direct à la mer. Quel plaisir que de faire un plongeon dans la grande bleue en se réveillant, juste avant le petit déjeuner. En résumé, un séjour magnifique.

Magnifique maison. La maison reste fraiche malgré la chaleur. Les espaces extérieurs sont superbes et bien pensés. Les pins apportent de l'ombre, la piscine d'eau de mer a été appréciée par tous et déjeuner avec vue sur la mer est une expérience sensorielle!

Fabulous architecture and location, but beware of unpleasant surprises

The architecture of the villa, by Fernand Pouillon, and its location is truly fabulous. Beware however that the grounds are not exclusive and are shared with a another couple living in an outbuilding. You may also need to perform your own washing and cleaning on arrival for a more enjoyable stay, as we had to. Beware of lastminute supplemental payment requests from the owners against the threat of cancelling your reservation as well as unjustified attempts to draw on your deposit upon your departure. Overall, the property and location are wonderful but it is a shame that a worry-free hoiliday is not assured.

UN LIEU PARADISIAQUE

vaste propriété, maison très bien agencée. Nous étions 7 adultes et avions la possibilité d'avoir chacun notre intimité grâce aux terrasses extérieures ainsi qu'à l'espace intérieur. Bâtisse de caractère dans laquelle on peut évoluer sans se déranger. Merci à Benjamin pour sa disponibilité ainsi qu'à la propriétaire (Madame BARTHELEMY) qui a toujours répondu présente pour le bien être de ses locataires.

Best week ever in France!

We went to France late in June 2019, with expectations of having a nice, sunny and warm holiday. For that purpose, we found this villa that looked nice from the online description and in the area we were seeking. And we really got what we were looking for. A large and nice house that had everything we needed. And not to forget the pool and the pool area, which were marvellous. We spent several hours there every day. So, we concluded the six of us that stayed there together, that this had been the best holiday we ever had in France. We'd love to go back there anytime, and we strongly recommend this villa to others.

It' s a charming and magical family home but...

Firstly may we say how much we enjoyed the magical environment of your longtime family Home and the sheer beauty of the area in la Belle France that is Cassis. So many strong lovely family memories. Thank you too for letting us stay the final day so we weren’t leaving in a rush. We have stayed in many many lovely homes over the years in Europe and so the following feedback is based on this. The Pool being cold and emptied - The pool was freezing on the first day and after 4 days we had got the pool up to an acceptable temperature to find out instead of the pool being cleaned it was completely emptied at approx 11 am on the 5th day . We were told it would refill in about 4 hours . Some 8 hours later it was full with freezing cold sea water which meant it wasn’t available to use virtually all that day and most of the next day. This deflated the morale of all of us as the pool is an vital component of any English families holiday . Surely we should have been informed that this would be happening and I wasn’t –there is a big difference clean and empty – my French is fluent and this is not acceptable in any shape or form in the middle of a holiday. We made extra efforts not to let the doors slam in the wind - however an accident occurred with the window of the door In the UK these would have to be fitted with safety glass and as you are renting the house out it’s likely that this will occur again and potentially someone possible a child could be seriously injured I feel you should address this problem as you may run the risk of legal action in the future. It would too have been polite to ask at least once how my wife’s cut leg was healing too. Lacking an Instruction book It is usual have one - we needed one for Number of a doctor and hospital casualty the electric gate and what to do if as happened it stopped working where the bins and recycling bins are And perhaps useful advise with recommended restaurants the best mosquito spray ( we were badly eaten despite our English products) and telling us just before as we are leaving did not help and where the all vital information when you arrive in an unknown place. It also would have been informative to know that the front gate was also used by someone else who lived in the corner house that was alarming and invasive too. We hope you and your family think of addressing these issues so future holiday makers at Cassis can have a perfect time in your fabulously located home .

The best holiday home ... ever

Since more than 10 years we travel to southern France and we always look for houses with an authentic style and impressive views. This house is located at the best ground of the „Presqu‘ île“ you can imagine with a stunning view on the Cassis bay and the Cap Canaille. Additionally the design of the house and the whole interior and furniture is the one of a classical French villa. It feels like home <3 and I can imagine how much fun it was to buy all this classical furniture and artwork across some decades. The kids enjoyed the seawater pool while we enjoyed the „sundeck“. Mme. Barthélemy and her staff have been very friendly and helpful all the time. We can highly recommend this house.

A great place for a family holiday

A charming house in a fantastic position. Attentive and helpful owners. A car is vital to get to the shops although an electric bike might be even better or, at least, more fun. Marseille only 30 minutes by train. The barbeque is impressive but actually doesn't work terribly well

The villa is magnificent and the location and view amazing. The pool area is wonderful. The villa is ideal for 8 adults and well equipped. There are different dining areas depending on the weather. We want to come back.

Superbe!

Situation splendide pied dans l'eau, jardins superbe et piscine avec vue de mer panoramique, environnement calme at beau, location elegant, propre et bien entretenue, le proprietaire tres gentil en nous offrant de bons conseil. Cinq minutes par voiture a Cassis, petite ville authentique et charmante ou se trouve un bon choix de restaurants et magasins. Je recommanderai sans hesitations a tout le monde et reviendrai avec plasir.

cadre magnifique mais ...

cadre magnifique mais beaucoup de points à revoir: écoulement eau, odeur désagréable, cafards, lampes hors service, pas de cafetière, tapis de transat hors d'âge, certains points de propreté à revoir, salon de jardin rongé par la rouille .... Ces défauts dont beaucoup doivent être connus de la propriétaire sont inadmissibles dans une location qui se veut haut de gamme. C'est dommage que ces points négatifs gâchent cette location idéalement située.

Magnifique Villa - Cassis -Vue imprenable!!

Une magnifique demeure (typique provencale) a quelques minutes a pieds du centre de cassis. Tout d'abord je dois dire que les photos postees ne devoilent pas completement la beaute de cette maison ou meme l'endroit magique ou elle se trouve. Tres spacieuse et parfaitement amenagee, nous pouvions diner/dejeuner pres du barbecue a l'abri du vent ou si le temps etait plus calme une grande table est presente sur la terasse orincipale avec une vue imprenable sur la mer Mediterranee et le cap canaille. La propriete est sur differents niveaus donc mous pouvions nous mettre au soleil pour bronzer pres de la piscine ou bien a l'abri des pins pour faire la sieste a l'ombre. La maison est propre et tres bien entretenue ainsi que les jardins, et la piscine.Nous n'avions aucun probleme a contacter le proprio si la piscine avait besoin d'etre nettoyer il nous aurait envoye un professionel pour s'en occuper. Bref, les proprios sont sympas et accessibles, la maison incroyablement magnifique, la location en elle-meme peut paraitre un peu chere mais cela vaut vraiment le coup si vous voulez decouvrir la vie en Provence et profiter pleinement de tout ce que le bord de mer peut vous offrir. A louer sans hesiter!!
