This was my family's 2nd stay at Wade Home. The layout of the house is perfect for multiple familes to share. The beach is right outside of the front door and the view from the main room is unbelievably beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed and we also used the outside barbecue. The house is 10 minutes away from Hanalei and Princeville for restaurants and shopping. The only drawback is that the house is not air conditioned, so a few of the bedrooms get pretty hot. We greatly enjoyed both of our stays.

Paradise with our grown family

We had 10 adults and this property was a dream. Quiet location on the beach with great snorkeling right out the front door. Hot tub was great. A little off the beaten path which is exactly what hat we wanted. We will definitely stay here again.

Awesome House and Location

This is an ideal property. We had three generations sharing the house, and everything was wonderful! Exactly as advertised!Note that the beds are on frames making the mattresses very high for older people. We pulled mattresses off the frame so that they could get in and out of bed, and no problem from then.

Awesome waterfront property perfect layout for family

Our family loved this home the layout was so perfect, each family group had a wing to themselves with a master suite upstairs. The beach in front is like having your own private beach . The beach was perfect for all ages. The snorkeling was great with colorful tropical fish and turtles. We will be back.

Christmas week 2022

Layout of the house is perfect for a family group or multiple couples. Three master bedrooms plus two bedrooms with two beds each, each with access to its own bathroom. Great access(across a small dead end street) to a very safe beach with good snorkeling right off the beach. The kitchen cabinets need some serious upgrading. For a house with all of the advantages this house offers, it just needs to be refreshed. Otherwise, a great property.

True north shore experience

From the most calm seas for the first 3 days to beautiful giant swells for the rest of our 7 days. Near the end of the road this house offers the peace and quiet and views we long for in our trips to paradise. We couldn’t stay in our original condo due to a water leak, and the amazing team at KVR more than made up for it by letting us stay here. We won’t rent with anyone else, they have always taken great care of us.

Great rental. Such a great spot that a small evening wedding picked right in front of the home to have their ceremony. Easy wade into the water with snorkelling right off shore. Would definitely stay again. A few items weren't working and we spoke to the property management company at exit (not a big deal at all) and they were kind and interested in making sure everything was perfect for the next guests. Great experience.

Restful Island Beach Stay w/ Adventure Bonus

House was perfect. Our family's 4th time to this location but 1st in this house. Space and layout excellent, location and proximity to beach excellent. Good beach chairs. Everything worked perfectly. Snorkels were good but fins were children's size or a very small adult, so if you wanna use fins, gotta rent em in town. Lack of a/c noted by other reviewers did not bother us given good supply of fans. Hot tub worked well. House kitchen equipment excellent. Beds comfortable, bathrooms and showers worked well. Seems like local law enforcement has been stepped up to keep beach clear of campers...very much appreciated. Rental agent responsive to issue regarding a rebellious smoke alarm. A.m. rooster burden lower than in past. Will be back after saving up.

Near Perfect

It is literally steps from the beach situated on a reef that lets you walk or shallow swim what seems like forever. The sunsets are as if they were made just for you. Bring a tripod to capture them or just grab the provided beach chairs and prop yourself on the little stretch of beach that's just in front.You will need a car to drive to nearby grocery store, coffee shops, etc, but everything is a short trip away. The place is well-appointed. There were a few relatively minor post-pandemic hiccups but the agency was courteous and eager to respond. They sent someone out to hand-deliver an appliance that needed replacing. I'd like to see some upgraded appliances — especially a better coffee maker (a french press would also be great for individual cups) and blender — given the tier of place it is, but not a deal-breaker.If you're wondering whether it's worth it — it definitely is, especially if you want a PLACE you can sink into and enjoy rather than running to and fro. It is easy to get to things, but this is a place to enjoy being at as much as enjoy being on Kauai.It works well for a group of people that are connected to each other. Enough space to spread out and not get in each other's way. And you do share the kitchen so at least be able to get along and have good agreements for those moments when you cross paths. You'll want to do a good shop and get all the things you'll need because once there, you won't want to leave. I mostly didn't.We took jaunts to Queen's Bath, a fishing trip and one night out to dinner, but mostly we enjoyed this amazing home that has just enough details to make it still feel inviting but not like you're in someone else's space.I will return as many times as I can.

The house was perfect for our multigenerational family of 10, with three full primary king-bed suites and two additional bedrooms with two twins each. The setting was sublime, and the house comfortable and welcoming.As the chief cook for the family, I'd also like to commend the amazingly well equipped kitchen. It was such a pleasure to have oversize pots, pans, and serving dishes and just about every appliance one could hope for.I'd be happy to return for an even longer stay.

Amazing Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was really the perfect house for us. Took my whole family -- kids and grandkids. Five adults and five kids (6 months - 10 years). The house was really perfect. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Plenty of beach towels -- which was really appreciated. And the small little private beach across the street was amazing. Water could have been warmer --- but considering the time of year -- it was great. The kids were able to snorkel out quite a ways and saw loads of fish and turtles. Some even did a night snorkel out to the far drop off and saw octopus and eels. The great thing about the location was the house is almost at the end of the road -- so very little traffic. Cars did turn around in front of the house -- but honestly wasn't a problem. The checkin and check out were smooth and had no problems with the house. I personally would have loved a french press coffee pot :).... but the others were happy with all the kitchen was stocked with. House was clean and light switches were labeled which was super helpful since there are several spaces that had separate lights. Grandsons had more fun getting coconuts and fishing, and chasing geckos and snorkeling -- no one even attempted to turn on a TV. Highly recommend this house for a large family --- but even a small family would love it!

Wonderful rental for families

We spent every night on the deck, star gazing and every day on the beach in front of the house. The view is gorgeous and the calm beach was perfect for smaĺ children. The kitchen was very well equipped, although the fridge was temperamental. A word of warning: the house isn't air conditioned. During our stay, the 2 smaller bedrooms were 90° every night, even with 2-3 floor fans running all day. The breezes outside never seemed to cool the house.

Best Vacation House in Anini Beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can't say enough good things about the Wade House - it was the perfect place to stay for our 25th anniversary with our family. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach. The floor plan is great for a multi-family group, with three master bedrooms (all with ocean views!) and two additional bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. It was wonderful to be able to spread out and have our own space, while still enjoying all the amenities of the house. One of our favorite things about the Wade House was the private beach across the street. It's such a beautiful spot, and we had a blast taking family photos and snorkeling with the sea turtles. It really added to the overall experience and made our trip feel even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend the Wade House to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable vacation rental in Anini Beach, Kauai. It was the perfect place for our family celebration, and we'll never forget our time there.

Perfect home at the beach

The layout of this house is perfect for a nice family gathering. There are three king suites and two rooms with two twin beds each. There is a large living room and dining room table for ten people. There’s room for several helpers in the kitchen too. Endless ocean views from almost every room. There’s practically a private beach directly across from the house although we shared it with a couple getting married and a necklace company’s photo shoot. It is a beautiful setting for photos. At the end of the road for quiet privacy but don’t forget your groceries since you have a little trek to town. We were out every day so it was easy to bring home anything we needed. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had the best supplied kitchen we’ve ever seen in Kauai and there was a great starter pantry which I appreciate so much! It feels like a loving thing to think of others by having some spices and olive oil, soy sauce and the like. Five stars vacation.

Great family spot next to the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great experience. Would definitely recommend house to any family looking for incredible beach access with nice living room and kitchen area for large group.
