Ingrese a una hermosa casa aislada ubicada al lado del faro de la bahía de Yaquina. Perfecto para unas vacaciones románticas o una escapada familiar. Preciosas vistas al mar de 180 grados desde la sala de estar. Frecuentes sesiones de ballenas y águilas desde la cubierta. No hay acceso directo a la playa, pero solo cinco minutos a pie a través de un sendero forestal aislado hasta una playa tranquila con piscinas de marea virgen y hábitat protegido de aves marinas. A solo 5-10 minutos en coche de la playa de Nye, el histórico Newport Bayfront y el acuario de Newport. A una milla a pie del parque estatal Yaquina Light House y del centro de interpretación. Sam's Sea Haven was absolute heaven. From the beautiful landscape to the view of the ocean and the sounds of the waves, this place was absolutely magical. One of the days we were lucky enough to see 4 whales right outside. Amy was a wonderful host, very quick to respond. I had even asked her if she had a cooler at the home that we could use, she said she didn't but messaged me quickly afterwards saying she got one for the house. I would hands down stay here again. You won't regret booking this heavenly home.

The grounds were beautiful. Minutes walk to beach. Great location near Newport Harbor. Nice appliances, kitchen. Huge bedroom with comfortable bed. The owner, Any, is special.

AMAZING.

We had an absolutely incredible time staying here. The location is superb, the views are one of a kind and the entire experience was amazing. We called this place home for roughly 10 days and even that didn't seem like long enough. The surrounding area is wonderful to explore, the local shoppes and dining are fantastic and this is the perfect place to relax after a long day. Amy was always quick to respond if I had any questions and was very easy to work with. We will absolutely will be back!!

Paradise with a view

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving weekend here. Cooked and relaxed. We loved the feeling of the house and the sense of being isolated from hustle and bustle. We Agree with the young artist who left his painting on the fridge who wrote This home is magic. The bed was so cozy we had cat visitors every day. Sunrise sunset perfection. THANKYOU Amy.

Our stay at the Amazing Ocean View was everything we hoped for. We stayed 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. Amy’s home has a wonderful lived in quality. The landscaping provides privacy and beauty. The hot tub was a bonus. We found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. And There was a lovely welcoming basket of goodies. We would stay there again. *would recommend luggage racks, being ‘older’ it’s hard when luggage is on the floor.

Overall outstanding experience at this O eansode property. The home was very comfortable and inviting with amazing views of the Pacific and the Yaquina Lighthouse. The gardens and Jacuzzi made our stay even more special. The communication with the owner was also excellent.

A magical place

I feel so lucky to have stayed at this amazing home. The views are spectacular and the garden reminded me of something out of a fairytale. The house itself was perfect for my family and included all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

Cozy bungalow with stunning view

The location of this home was breathtaking with crashing waves and and a great view of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. We found it hard to leave this hideaway to explore the surrounding areas. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The communication from owner was excellent and the beautiful gardens added so much to its charm. It was nicely decorated with lots of special touches. It was very hard to leave and hope to return some day.

Fabulous stay

I thoroughly enjoy staying at this home... the amenities are great and sometimes hard to leave to do other activities. Walking to the beach from this home is lovely and the tidepools are amazing at low tide. Definitely a place to return

Newport oasis

The moment I got here, I was in awe of how beautiful this property is. You don’t even feel like your close to anyone, the house is so welcoming and you have views from everywhere! The cobble stone paths are so cool! I will 100% be going back, I was not disappointed. My group has been coming to Newport for the past 5 years for wine fest and we have never stayed somewhere we automatically wanted to go back to!

Beautiful setting. Gorgeous view. Convenient. Well-stocked. Only neegative is height of both beds. Mattress almost impossible to get on...much too high. Supply footstool or use thinner mattress. We thought we wouldn't be able to get in bed. We're all tall adults.

Great views of the ocean and lighthouse

The view from the deck are amazing. Fantastic view of the ocean and the lighthouse. The back of the home is very secluded and very relaxing. The interior of the home is very comfortable. Some of the dishes were not clean but that was solved very easily. Would definitely stay here again if we are in Newport again. Interactions with Amy was very easy.

PERFECT in EVERY WAY!

WOW, what an impressive VRBO. Thank you, Amy, for providing us with a stress-free, charming, zen-like hideaway. This home is perfectly located right on the coast line with a beautiful view of the ocean and gardens visible from nearly every window. There really wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't already provided. If you are on the fence about which VRBO to lease...THIS IS THE ONE! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful Ocean Haven

Sam's Sea Haven was a bit of a splurge for us but well worth it. Even though the house is located in a neighborhood, we felt we were in a world of our own, soaking in the hot tub, gazing at whales off Yaquina Head. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms had everything we could possibly need. Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, the aquarium, and whale watching tours were all nearby.

Wonderful, relaxing retreat

The home has a warm and welcoming feel. We loved it from the moment we stepped through the gate. Inside, the home is nicely decorated, a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with snuggly comforters. A welcome basket with wine and snacks greeted us in the kitchen - and it was welcome. Wonderful views from the deck as well as from the hot tub. The robes provided for the hot tub walk was an extra special treat. We will definitely return to this lovely retreat. Amy, our host, was great to work with and very accommodating .

Amy our mother is the matriarch of three daughters , three son in laws and nine grandchildren that love living the in the Pacific Northwest. Amy manages and takes care of the property. and recently retired as a RN lactation consultant. Annie is a family practice doctor and a proud mama of three, Molly is a family therapist who is also very proud of her four little ones and Sadie takes care of her two little ones and works as a RN in the emergency room. Our mom, Amy, who created this home with her late husband Sam (who this property is named in honor of) is a creative visionary and has delivered many babies in her time. We are excited to be able to share our own home in Newport. We endeavor to make our home warm,. welcoming and a haven for our guests to rest and reconnect .

My late husband Sam and I fell in love with this property while lost and accidentally driving down the hidden driveway . From the moment we saw the house, the hidden oasis and endless ocean ahead grabbed us. Little did we know the house was for sale, and when we went to look for property for sale in Newport, there was our dream place! The universe really does work in mysterious ways. The woman who owned the house before us was a master gardener and planted the hydrangeas and fuschia shurbs that are now trees We have continued caring and adding to an established flower garden in honor of my late husband who also appreciated the beauty and mystery of a flower garden. In fact the flower bed in front of the house was a driveway when we bought the house years ago

Sam's Sea Haven is a hidden oasis serenaded with the ever present sound of wind and surf. The house and the lot are on a flag lot which hides it from any street view, so once your park your car the overall impression is that you are completely secluded. The cottage garden leading to the house has blooms throughout the year.
The magic really envelops when one enters the house or step on the wrap around deck there is a view of the woods below and a 180 view of the ocean and lighthouse. Now one has truly entered our secret oasis.
