Situado tan pronto como entras en la ciudad, nuestro amplio estacionamiento es muy acogedor, con un montón de espacio para aparcar lo que sea que tal vez remolque. Justo al lado está el camino de las hamburguesas, la puerta de entrada para quads. Maquinillas de afeitar y motos de nieve para recorrer la ciudad. Management Retreat

Another amazing stay!

We always look forward to our stays at the lodge! We enjoy being able to bring friends and family together under one roof while all having our own space. You can’t beat the location, so close to all the off road trails, the lake, and the main downtown is walking distance. This truly is a one of a kind property and we can’t wait for the next trip.

Already looking forward to another trip!

This property really is amazing! We had a multi family vacation and everyone loved it! Each family, all with smaller children had their own space/bathrooms/ and even 3 kitchens! During naps or bedtime people were still able to hang out in the common area without disturbing anyone. The common area is also very large and accommodating! And the location, You can’t beat it!! We brought both boats and razors and we had plenty of room in the massive parking lot! I would say this really is a “fun for all ages” property!

Friends winter getaway

Cabin was definitely HUGE! Plenty of room for everyone and each family had their own rooms and pace to stop and unwind and be alone if needed! Bar area is amazing we created some great memories! Only down side is main floor over was left dirty so it was Smokey when we turned it on, as if someone spilled oil or something inside. We used the second floors oven instead. Not too big of a deal. And I wish we didn’t have to take our trash. It’s a bit of a bummer to have to worry about bringing the trash back. But I do have a great set of friends and we all helped. I just never had to do that before and I stay at a lot of Vrbo’s. Other then that it was definitely an amazing trip and would definitely do it again! Thank you Jill

Pleasent location for part of our wedding party

Very Clean, Comfortable, Spacious place. Owners helped us immediately with a small issue with the heating. Would definitely recommend!

Family get together

Big with a lot of room and bathrooms. 3 story cabin that sleep over 20+ people. Little grass valley reservoir is only a short distance for swimming and picnicking. Cabin is off the main road and expose for so not a whole lot of privacy. Att carriers will have excellent reception. Everything else there is no service. We had a great time. Definitely recommend for a big group gathering.

Massive Cabin for my Huge Family🤩🤩

This place is Amazing. They have a binder with Hostorical information. Read it when arriving, it tells you information about everything. The place is insanely huge, there is a small house right next to the parking lot, with a bedroom as the first room. The next door in that room opens you up to that houses kitchen and bathroom. And next to the television, there is another front door. And on the opposite side of the TV there is a room with a large bed and 2 bunk beds. The main house has 2 entries, one below the stairs and another above the stairs. The first floor opens you up to a large bar area, and kitchen with a living room with dish satellite 📡 TV. The next level is reached by the first stairs, or a second set of stairs next to the living room area across from the bar. On the second level you will find a room with 1 large bed next to the balcony and another kitchen with a living room with dish TV. And another room with a large bed and a door leading to 2 smaller beds for children. That room also has another door that leads to a bathroom. The bathroom has a second door that leads to the kitchen of that floor. And lastly the 3rd floor of the main house. It has 2 rooms, with 2 huge beds in each one. A smaller bathroom wit a shower and one of the rooms has its own balcony. This place is huge and beautiful the location is amazing. There is so much to see and do. Small tips I have to future travelers would be. READ THE BINDER. As far as garbage goes don't bring alot of disposable dishes. Because you have the options to haul off your own garbage or have the property do it for a fee. We hauled our own since it wasn't much and we were only there for 2 nights. Also bring a small leaf blower to blow away the dust off the balcony, and the outside walkways we did that and it was very clean. (: And as far as cellphone coverage goes make sure to check your service provider and their coverage map. My T-Mobile had no service. lol My Dad's At&T was powerful he had everything data and calls. lol My Uncles Sprint was decent. Which is weird because T-mobile and sprint merged. And my Aunts Verizon was about as good as my dad's At&T. And my other Aunts boost mobile was without service as well. So that's all I have for any future travelers that come here.

Wonderful Retreat Location

We loved everything that this property had to offer. The multiple kitchens made cooking our holiday dinner a breeze. The house was spacious and gorgeous inside and out. Next to trials and the small town of La Porte we spent our time exploring as a family and enjoying what wilderness has to offer. We would definitely rebook.

Birthday Celebrations

What a great place to have a party. Tooooo much space almost. Plenty of amenities! Tooo much to see and do in a weekend. All located in a beautiful little town and close to a gorgeous lake. Couldn’t ask for a better spot to stay. Make sure you bring all the supplies you need food and drink wise. It’s remote and limited out there. Would highly recommend but keep it a secret.

Great Stay for Groups

Better than imagined, I needed a place to house my family during my wedding festivities on the Little Grass Valley Reservoir and this was perfect. There are a couple steeper, narrow sets of stairs to the upstairs bedrooms that were a bit difficult for older members of the family but overall the space was clean, well organized and labeled, and stocked with everything we needed. Great Location near the center of La Porte.

Great Place for a Wedding Party or large group to Stay

For this location it was a great place to stay, so many rooms as great bar and dinner area down on the first floor and lots of beds. There was a few broken door knobs and a few minor things but the place worked really well for our wedding guess to stay at. Thank you

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing!

If you want the stuffiness of Tahoe this isn't for you. Tho Lodge is decorated beautifully, the beds are comfortable and La Porte gives you the old time feel of what family and friends is (in our opinion) supposed to feel like. We had a mini family reunion and the Lodge was perfect. It was like a mini home away from home. When traveling with a large group it can be difficult to get your own space to get away for some alone time. The Lodge is built for people to break off from the group and spend some quite alone time or go play games in smaller groups without "bothering" the rest of the group. We enjoyed everything about what the lodge had to offer. Thank you for a great weekend and we will definitely be back!

This property was once know as The Rabbit Creek Resort and The Gold Country Resort.
It was once home to a restaurant and post office. We stepped in and have restored and transformed this landmark in La Porte into lodging for friends, family and VRBO to enjoy.
