Apartment of character with neat decoration, a lot of charm, quiet, completely renovated, with unobstructed view above the rooftops, in a luxury building in perfect condition, very well equipped, wifi, fans in each room, luggage assistance, relaxing setting after a day of sightseeing, located on foot in 5 to 10 minutes from the city center, in a reputedly very pleasant area of the 'Chartrons, on the edge of the quays on the Garonne classified 'Unesco', 500 meters from the new CITÉ DU VIN in front of the new HALL of Bacalan and 15 minutes to VINEXPO by the tramway located 100 meters from our apartment "stop "Médoc", private parking at 300 meters, apartment very close to tourist sites and good restaurants, on the quays important market on Sunday, organic market on Thursday, self-service trade 200 meters "Carrefour Market."
Well placed for bike or walk on the banks of the Garonne and boat trips.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just as nice as advertised and was super-quiet, comfortable and well appointed. The tram and ferry were both less than a block away which was really convenient.

Wonderful stay in best area of bourdeaux

This is a gorgeous home with amazing light, comfortable beds and in the best area of the city, close to rue notre dame. The tram stops right outside so it is very convenient to get to many areas. Bourdeau is a lovely city- make sure to visit st emilion and arcachon if you have time.

A highlight of our trip

This was one of the nicest VRBO stays we’ve had. Large and well furnished apartment with lots of character and interior design features. We loved the area as well just near the river and a choice of trams or a healthy walk to the downtown Bordeaux attractions. The hosts were there to greet us on arrival and answer questions. They bought a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Very pleasant stay!

Ces vacanciers sont arrivés avec le covid et de ce fait nous n'avons pas pu correspondre normalement pour les accueillir. L'appartement est indiqué avec des ventilateurs pas la climatisation.et habituellement nous n'avons pas de problèmes pour correspondre même si nous ne parlons pas couramment l'anglais.! Ils ont laissé l'appartement très sale ! Nous ne conseillons pas ces vacanciers !

A Wonderful Place to Stay

Nicole's appartment was just what we wanted. It was very nicely furnished and felt like a real home. Lots of space to spread ourselves, set in a vibrant part of Bordeaux but, because it is at the back of the building, very quiet. The tramline just outside allowed us to travel into town easily. The carpark nearby was easy to use. And Bordeaux is a great place to stay. And Nicole's appartment was a great extra bonus.

Perfect Location and Great Hosts

Our stay started with a visit with hosts Nicole and Jacques who thoroughly went over all of the MANY great features in the apartment. It is beautifully decorated in a grand yet comfortable atmosphere that makes one instantly feel at home. The area is rich in fine restaurants along the same street as the apartment as well as across the street along the waterfront which is also perfect for long strolls or a bikeride. We recommend this location highly!

Smartly furnished apartment in stately Chartrons building. Superb location near tram stop and parking. Amiable hosts Nicole and Jacques. They provide everything you will need except an elevator, requiring a climb of two flights of stairs to the flat. Staying there is definitely worth the exercise.

Beautiful Bordeaux Apartment

The apartment was as lovely as the pictures depicted. The furnishings were exceptionally elegant, but also totally functional. The location on the tram line and across from the river walk were perfect and convenient. The hosts, Nicole and Jacques were very welcoming and thorough in their review of all amenities. We were very glad to have met them.

Lovely apartment in great part of Bordeaux

We were met outside by Jacques and he helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Both Jacques and Nicole greeted us and showed us around the apartment. They were helpful with dinner recommendations and left us a nice bottle of wine! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful place and would recommend to anyone.

This is a lovely and comfortable apartment well suited for a visit to Bordeaux. It is suitable for individuals with good mobility (two flights of stair to access apartment and a narrow staircase to loft bedroom). Slightly north of the downtown, we enjoyed the immediate area (several good restaurants and across the road from a beautiful river walk) and found access to the city centre quite easy. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Some French is helpful to communicate with owners. We had a one week stay with some poor weather. The apartment was comfortable and homey so we enjoyed an afternoon in with a book. Highly recommend.

We recommend this beautiful apt highly! It is immaculately kept and offered everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The location was perfect. A very lively area across from the river and the tram was a very short distance walk. We had a slight communication problem as the apt was listed with a/c however this was not the case. The hosts were going to change the listing. It was no problem as the rooms stayed cool even during a heat spell of 90 degrees and there were fans for comfortable sleeping. We loved the property and highly recommend it.

Thank you Nicole & daughter Caroline for warmly welcoming us. Your meeting us & introduction to parking & the apartment gave us such a good start to getting to know Bordeaux. We so enjoyed the comforts of the apartment and closeness to shops the tram and walks to the city centre and public garden for morning walks. Thank you for the fans in the hot summer.

Very Comfortable Apartment, Good Location, Responsive Host

My wife and I stayed at this property for four nights. The host was great and very responsive. The apartment was very comfortable and convenient to major attractions. The allow challenge is that the apartment is on the second floor and you have to take 47 steps to get to apartment and there is no lift. If you are capable of taking stairs this is an excellent property.

3 week stay for French experience

Excellent property however property does not have air conditioning which was one of our two requirements (wi fi and air conditioning)just fan in each bedroom which was insufficient for high temperatures.. otherwise lovely property and excellent communication.

Notre appartement semble beaucoup apprécié, nous y avons mis tout notre cœur afin de satisfaire nos hôtes. Toutefois, nous n’avons pas pu climatiser l’appartement, celui-ci est situé dans un endroit classé ce qui ne nous autorise pas d’y installer une climatisation., Nous avons informé nos hôtes sur notre annonce que ce sont des ventilateurs qui sont prévus .

Spacious and well located apartment. Parking, 200 meters away, is a big plus.

The owners are very gracious. The location is excellent with the Garonne and the tramway in the front. Good restaurants nearby. The apartment is on 2 floors with the main bedroom, a second bedroom, a bathroom and a separate water closet on the second floor. The living room and the kitchen are on the first floor. The coffee machine is good but there were not enough coffee capsules for our 5 days stay. The apartment is in an attractive old building and we had to climb some stairs as it is on the second floor.
