Liebevoll restauriertes Landhaus

Schön restauriertes Landhaus in ruhiger Lage lediglich die Nachbarn hört man von Zeit zu Zeit. Das Haus verfügt über eine gute Ausstattung und sehr bequeme Betten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und spricht fließend Englisch und etwas Deutsch. Schön wäre es,wenn an allen Fenstern Fliegengitter wären.. Leider erreicht man die großen bzw. interessanten Städte wie Florenz, Sienna und San Giminiani erst nach einer Stunde mit dem Auto. Nah liegen Pisa und Lucca. In diesem Haus ist man zwingend auf ein Auto angewiesen. Die Unterkunft verfügt über reichlich Spielzeug für Kleinkinder und einige Reiseführer. Auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen. Die Bäder/Toiletten befinden sich im ersten und zweiten Stock. Die Dusche im ersten Stock ist sehr klein und verfügt nur über eine sehr schmale Türöffnung. Ein Strand ist auch in 40 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Alles in Allem ein Haus, in dem man sich wohlfühlen kann.

Gute Zeit

Die Kommunikation mit Romina war hervorragend, Romina ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Anfahrt ein wenig schwierig zu Anfang, dafür wird man aber mehr als entschädigt durch die wunderschöne Lage mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Der große Garten bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum verweilen und die Ruhe zu genießen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Danke Romina

Perfect house for families

We enjoyed the location with more than enough space for our 4 children (2-9 years), everything was prepared for them: a lot of toys inside and outside, a baby-chair and baby-bed with linings. The garden has a beautiful view, a large table in the shadow and is safe for children, there is no traffic around the house. Romina was very friendly and gave us many ideas what we could visit with our children. The house is about 40 minutes to the Sea, 20 minutes to Lucca, 45 minutes to Pisa and 15 minutes to the next supermarket. We really enjoyed our time in this beautyful place! P.S. think on bringing something against moskitos, there are many of them.

Ruhig und Abgeschieden

Nach sehr kurvenreicher Anfahrt auf den letzten Kilometern erwartete uns Romina schon. Sie ist sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar/erreichbar (WhatsApp). Rein optisch störte ein Bauzaun vom Nachbargrundstück; dort wurde sporadisch mal gearbeitet. Das Haus fanden wir wie beschrieben vor. Alles hat funktioniert, ist aber schon in die Jahre gekommen. Der Weg zum Strand dauert ca. 45 Minuten (Viareggio) mit dem Auto. Fußläufig ist kein Restaurant zu erreichen, alles nur per Pkw. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht ist dort vollkommen richtig, wer näher an das Meer möchte, sollte dort nicht buchen. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist das Haus m. E. nicht geeignet (zu viele Treppen, im Haus wie auch im Garten).

Great Location

We very much enjoyed our stay in this quiet place in the hills north of Lucca. Romina was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of recommendations. She surprised us with a delicious chocolate egg for Easter! It was a great experience!

Beautiful house, stunning location

Italy at it’s best: the house is beautiful and spacious. Decorated with care and well equipped kitchen. Garden is gorgeous with a beautiful patio and stunning views. Lucca is less than 20 minutes and with train connections to Florence and Pisa. Do hire a small car indeed but that is easier in Italy anyway. The owner Romina was lovely and easy to communicate with. Excellent service with letting the cleaner come halfway or stay of 2 weeks as a bonus. Highly recommend this special location.

Es war alles super!

Haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Romina ist total nett und hat uns mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps sehr geholfen. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Bergdorf, man hat also eine etwas beschwerliche Anfahrt. Aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Dafür hat man oben angekommen die absolute Ruhe und einen herrlichen Ausblick. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt, Romina!

Schönes Wohnobjekt mit Flair

Die alte Scheune wurde sehr schön umgebaut und mit Herz eingerichtet. Die Küche ist aufgrund fehlender Fenster etwas dunkel, so musste man dort stets das Licht anschalten, an den Umstand gewöhnt man sich aber schnell. Eines der Schlafzimmer in der ersten Etage hat wie beschrieben ebenfalls keine Fenster, hoch eingebaute Scheiben lassen bei Bedarf (können per Vorhang verschlossen werden) etwas Tageslicht vom daneben liegenden Schlafzimmer in den Raum, eine Belüftung ist allerdings einzig über die Zimmertür möglich.... aber das weiß man ja vorher. Das zweite Schlafzimmer in der ersten Etage ist wirklich schön, hat große Fenster (eines mit Moskitogitter) und einen schönen Ausblick über den Garten in die toskanische Landschaft. Der Master-Bedroom mit Bad en Suite im Dachgeschoss ist traumhaft, tolle Einrichtung, komfortable Ausstattung des Badezimmers, toller Ausblick! Hier sind zwei Fenster vorhanden, durch die angebrachten Moskitogitter kann man immer gut lüften. Insgesamt hat uns in diesem Haus tatsächlich nichts an Einrichtung, Geschirr, Haushaltsgegenständen gefehlt, es gibt wirklich eine sehr gute Ausstattung. Der Garten ist auf mehreren Ebenen angelegt und zu drei Seiten durch eine Hecke sichtgeschützt.... auf evtl. mitreisende Hunde muss man dennoch aufpassen, da der Garten vor dem Haus liegt und Hunde durch die Einfahrt einfach davonlaufen könnten. Unser Hund hat dies nicht getan, im Haus hat er sich ebenfalls sehr wohlgefühlt :). Der Garten ist mit diversen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, Grill und Pizzaofen ebenfalls bestens ausgestattet. Die Lage in Querce, oben auf dem Berg, bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Die Anreise erfolgt über eine teils sehr enge, kurvenreiche Straße, auch mit unserem großen Auto war das aber kein Problem. Der nächste Supermarkt sowie eine Apotheke sind in ca. 12 Fahrminuten erreichbar. Die wirklich schöne Stadt Lucca mit diversen kleinen Geschäften und Restaurants/Bars ist mit dem Auto gute 20 Minuten entfernt, hier lohnt sich das Wiederkommen auf jeden Fall! Pisa und Florenz haben wir uns ebenfalls angesehen, auch diese Städte sind absolut sehenswert und vom Haus in ca. 40 Minuten bzw. 1,5 Stunden gut erreichbar! Der Kontakt zu Romina als Vermieterin lief vor und während unseres Aufenthaltes komplikationslos, auch über WhatsApp. Danke für deine freundliche, offene Art, Romina! Sogar eine kleine Unterhaltung auf Deutsch war mit dir möglich ;). Wer weiß, vielleicht sieht man sich irgendwann einmal wieder!?

Fantastic vacation in Querce

We enjoyed our summer vacation in Querce a lot: two weeks with biking, sunbathing, visits to Lucca, Pisa and Florence and some really good cooking. Time was just too short to explore this beautiful and charming area. The house was a good starting point for biking, and the steep and curvy road from the main road was a really good work out! The garden was peaceful with a magic view, Nice and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.

Urlaub in (der Nähe von) Lucca

Top Vermieterin. Kommunikation per WhatsApp klappte super. Auch bei Sonderwünschen wurde sofort geholfen. Haus und Garten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt und boten alles was man braucht. Sehr enge Straßen und ein etwas langer Weg zu Einkauf- und Erlebnismöglichkeiten sind der einzige Kritikpunkt. Ansonsten haben wir hier sehr schöne 2 Wochen verbracht. Danke Romina!

A beautiful and peceful place to stay in the Tuscan hills above Lucca

We came here after a week of walking in Tuscany. It was just what we needed. Romina is a perfect host. She showed us around the property and explained how everything worked before leaving us with her contact details in case we needed anything. The house is lovely and cool in the heat of the summer. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been modernised and are very tastefully furnished with everything you need. There was even soap by the basins, and a hairdryer. The garden is lovely - with shade at the top all day, and in the lower garden in the afternoons. We used the BBQ to cook all our meals and ate under the gazebo. The only noise we heard was the birds (except for a couple of times when we heard music from a weekend celebration somewhere in the valley wafting up the hills!). The local supermarket is very good and had has a fresh fish and meat counter. We visited Lucca - a charming town with a wonderful shady walk all the way round its walls; Pisa; and a stunning garden at nearby Villa Reale. We even got used to the steep and winding road up and down the hill to the house without trouble. Romina is a lovely person - and so helpful. She answers text messages promptly before you go and makes you very welcome. We had a really good holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if you're looking for peace and comfort in a lovely country house.

Schönes Haus und liebe Vermieterin

Wir waren mit 5 Personen 2 Wochen über Ostern in dem Haus. Der Weg dort hin ist zwar etwas nervig aber hat uns nicht sooo gestört. Dafür könnte man herrliche Ruhe geniessen. Unser Problem war eher, dass es nachts noch ziemlich kalt war. Also mussten wir Früh und Abend sehr viel heizen um nicht im kalten zu sitzen. Doofer Weise ist das Wohnzimmer offen und die ganze Wärme zieht in das Treppenhaus nach oben- also sitzt man trotz viel Heizen bei kalten 15C° am Tisch. Und da der Preis für das Heizen in Itlalien utopisch hoch ist haben wir uns diesbezüglich sehr geärgert. Auch der erhoffte Whirlpool entpuppte sich leider nur als eine Wanne, bei welcher die Blubberfunktion auch nicht ging. Dass man beim Duschen ganz unfreiwillig Wechselduschen absolviert ist wohl der Lage des Hauses verschuldet. An sonsten war in dem Haus alles da was man braucht und auch die Vemieterin hat sich Mühe gegeben. Die Waschmaschine fanden wir sehr witzig und haben mehr oder weniger auf gut Glück gewaschen ...das ist halt Italien. 😄

Traumhafte Tage

Wir wurden von Romina herzlichst empfangen. Das Haus liegt wundervoll inmitten der Natur. Da bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Am frühen Morgen trällern die Vögel. Der Garten draußen gleicht einem Frischluftwohnzimmer. Im Haus drinnen ist alles sehr sauber und typisch für die Region Toskana. Die Küche ist sehr praktisch. Die Schlafräume sind sehr liebevoll möbliert. Die Bäder sind perfekt ausgestattet. Der Wohnbereich ist gut aufgeteilt. Bietet genügend Platz für 7 Personen. Lucca ist in 15 Minuten erreicht und bietet alles was Herz und Gaumen wünschen. Wir sagen Danke und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen

Christmas in Toscany

We stayed during the Christmas period with my family for 10 days at the beautiful house of Romina. The house is located in the hills near Lucca. It was very quite and peaceful. One could only hear the birds sing. The house was decorated in a typical Italian cosy way. Romina had arranged a christmas tree with a gift for our family, so thoughtful her! The fireplace in the house was comfortable especially during the colder and rainy days. Hiking directly from the house into the hills was nice with beautiful views. Lucca is only 15 minutes from the house by car and a very nice city to see, walk on the city wall and do some shopping. We hope that we will have the chance in the future to return in the spring to enjoy the beautiful house and environment in Toscany! Thank you Romina for the perfect arrangement and you hospitality! What a special villa!!

Fantastisch huis op een nog mooier plekje

Het eeuwenoude huis is echt heel mooi. Alle authentieke elementen zijn bewaard gebleven. Toch heb je in dit huis alle gemakken van hedendag (van wifi, magnetron, X-box tot regendouche en bubbelbad). Echt een aanrader. Als je in de tuin zit is het uitzicht adembenemend. Binnen een kwartier zit je midden in Lucca. Binnen 10 minuten zit een restaurantje waar je heerlijke pasta's en pizza's kunt eten. De paar kleine nadelen (binnen in het huis is het koud en het bed in de master bedroom is erg hard) nemen we graag op de koop toe. Kortom, een huis waar we graag weer een keertje terugkomen!!

Un luogo molto meraviglioso per tuta la famiglia

Abbiamo scelto questa casa per le vacanze d'estate, per la famiglia, cinque persone, e l'scelta ha estato molto accertata! La casa è molto carina, confortabile, pulita, con un gran servizio, e con tutte le cose che servono tanto ai bambini come ai giovani. L'intorno è meraviglioso, le viste alle montagne è anche il passeggio che si può fare da mattina, prima di cominciare la ruta turistica per la Toscana. Ma la tranquillità si accompagna de l'avvantaggio d'aver Lucca accanto, e anche l'autostrada per arrivare a Firenze, Pisa, San Gimignano,... È finalmente, cosa si può dire di Romina! Meravigliosa, tanto carina... amabile e attenta. Veramente un luogo per ritornare!

Perfect

What a gorgeous house! Everything was just beautiful and Romina went out of her way to help us... meeting us on the day we arrived to take us to the house, showing us through the house, and giving us the run down on how things work. She also gave us directions to where we needed to go. She was definitely right about the sunset from the terrace area. Precioso! I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Nous avons été ravis d'av...

Nous avons été ravis d'avoir passé nos vacances dans cette grande et agréable maison ! Les pièces sont spacieuses et trés bien décorées. Il y a un petit jardin trés bien entretenu où nous avons pu manger et faire nos grillades . Nous avons aussi été agréablement surpris par la superbe vue sur les montagnes toscanes !
