Sun Kissed Villa es un nuevo y hermoso de 4 dormitorios, 4 ½ baño, villa frente al mar completado en la primavera de 2014. Situado en una comunidad privada en Bengal Beach, al este de la pequeña localidad de Rio Bueno y al oeste de Discovery Bay, Sun Kissed ofrece a los huéspedes los beneficios de una casa y un entorno encantador, pero también la comodidad de estar a una distancia razonable de ambos Ocho Rios y Montego Bay. The staff (Chef Tony, Sandra, John’s, and Tifari) were great, they took such good care of us. My only constructive comment is that the lounge chairs by the pool all need to be replaced, as many of them are broken, also the kayak and paddle board should be replaced as they’ve seen better days.

Family Vacation

The location was nice! Having the beach in the backyard was amazing. We loved the pool as well. Tony, the chef was great !! He cooked us really good meals. We enjoyed our breakfast dinners the most. The jerk pork and coconut shrimp was amazing !! He was also very sweet and accommodating. He gave us family vibes. Overall, we had a good time.

A Carribeean Paradise

This villa is a paradise. The location is superb, the staff is delightful, and the host is most helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We played hard every day, ate well every meal, and slept soundly every night - what more could one ask for.

Great stay enjoyed it

We were a party of 10 including kids. We were taken care of so well. We all enjoyed the hospitality! Everyone looked after us well!The only thing that we would have liked differently is cleanliness of the kitchen, the pots and pans etc. not used to seeing the old worn out utensils being used to cook so found that a bit put off. However had it not been for chef Tony who made us amazing food and accommodated requests, food options would’ve been difficult. We r taking back great memories. Thank you!

Wonderful Staff

We vacationed to celebrate my Jamaican Uncle's 90th birthday and more family stayed in "fantasy" a couple doors down. This is a wonderful home, but really is in need of care. From a broken tub (unusable), outdoor showers (also unusable), broken lounge chairs, ripped cushions on outdoor furniture, and large pots outdoor devoid of plants--the photos online show a much nicer house than reality. The staff, however, were wonderful and friendly as we have found many Jamaicans to be. Chef Tony was an excellent cook, Tafare his helper was sweet and a hard worker, and both Sandra and Johno were also hard workers who made us feel welcome--They all made us feel welcome and cared for. Our visit was wonderful, because of the people we were with and the staff. The house (though it has tons of potential) needs more care. I know it must be very hard to keep a home like this up, but it really needs some love.

Beautiful Home

Sun Kissed is gorgeous! The house is laid out great. Our stay was the week after Beryl so it was a little hotter and muggier than normal and we had tons of mosquitos but nothing that anyone could help. We lived in the pool most of the week and it was great. Chef Tony is amazing! The best food we have ever had in Jamaica. Jonno and Jermaine became great friends. Recommend this house for a stay in Jamaica!

The home was very comfortable, pool was welcomed, and the staff members were both professional and very friendly as they strove to meet our family's needs during our week's stay. There are some "upkeep" items with the house that need attention, and I will advise the owner on those.

Wonderful family vacation in beachside villa!

Beautiful house and perfect beach location. We had teens to grandparents age wise and couldn’t have picked a better house. Wonderful staff, Gloria the cook was amazing, so delicious. Maryann kept the house beautifully clean and attended to our needs and Johno the caretaker was always around and builds a great beach bonfire! Deana the concierge arranged various excursions for us and some scuba diving. Would definitely come back!

Relaxing Friends Trip

Cook and staff are fabulous. House is a bit more dated than pictures indicate, but well maintained and excellent location in a quiet bay. Local activities are worth checking out. Our group is quite seasoned in our travels, and our trip to Sun Kissed was over Super Bowl weekend. There were challenges with the house internet, but staff made accommodations to make sure we saw the game and were well fed. A great time was had by all in for our group of ten!

60t birthday party

7 women all gathered at Sunkissed to celebrate our dear friend's 60th. We had a great time because the villa was perfect. Plenty of room inside and out. Everyone had her own bathroom and bedroom and the outdoor terrace era was so nice. We could all be together or break off from the group at any time for peace and quiet on the beach.

This stay was amazing

The staff was great. Always on point and willing to help. Bird made authentic, great tasting food for every meal. Grounds were clean every day and the house was spotless, even with 10 of us staying. Cleveland, our driver, really made our trip special his knowledge of the island added a memorable touch. The house is not in the cities but a short distance from almost every where we wanted to go. All without the hustle and bustle of a city. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in Jamaica.

70th Birthday Celebration

The house is great for a large family. The staff is fantastic and taking care of the group. Amoy really did a great job with the food preparing various local dishes along with crowd favorites. If you want a great place to truly relax you have everything you need. The pool is great, the beach is great for all ages, the house is clean, and the beds are very comfy. We were there over New Year's and Jahno made the most spectacular bonfire on the beach to celebrate as well as lock up each night. Jav was always there for great drinks and our DJ. Marian was behind the scenes keeping the place looking like a resort. Between the staff service and the great house and location, you can’t go wrong staying at Sun Kissed Villa.

SunKissed Villa Family Vacay

Our party of 12 enjoy the property thoroughly. There were a lot of amenities on site that kept our group occupied. The beach was beautiful was exclusive and there was a nearby water rafting excursion. The staff was amazing, Chef Tony prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner wonderfully during our stay. The housekeeper, Kamesha, was very friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Johno, the groundskeeper kept us safe, secure and was amazing overall help. Jermaine was very flexible and very accommodating. The driver, Cleveland, was very patient and informative. The house could use a little TLC but not bad. The rooms were spacious for the most part. Although there is AC in all the bedrooms, the home could benefit having AC in the common areas. A TV in a more centralized location would do wonders and screened in bedroom windows so one could enjoy the ocean air without the mosquitoes. Our family vacation was a wonderful experience which was mostly due to the staff.

Nothing Short of Amazing

We recently had the pleasure of vacationing in Jamaica with a group of friends for a surprise 50th for my wife. It was an incredible experience that exceeded all our expectations. It was simply breathtaking, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality by the staff at Sun Kissed, provided us with an unforgettable trip filled with fun, relaxation, and adventure. The crystal-clear turquoise waters were straight out of a postcard. We spent countless hours swimming, snorkeling, and soaking up the sun, enjoying the perfect tropical paradise right at the house. Amoy (chef) and Orville were just awesome!! Wain drove us all over as we had the opportunity to explore the stunning Blue Hole, where we climbed and hiked amidst the cascading waterfalls. It was an exhilarating adventure that brought us closer to nature and created lasting memories. The Jamaican people are incredibly warm and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Everywhere we went, from the staff to the locals we encountered, we were greeted with genuine smiles and welcoming spirits. They made us feel at home and their vibrant culture added a special touch to our vacation. Sampling traditional Jamaican dishes like jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish, and fresh tropic fruit that Amoy brought daily. WE CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!! -Diaz

A bit disappointing

The initial experience was very good aside from the bedrooms not being cooled prior to our arrival making it very hot. We quickly learned the water pressure was on existent but since we had no plans to leave we decided just to deal with it. Things really shifted when the chef’s mood changed. We set a menu but also told her we were going to try to find fresh fish. She never mentioned her allergy to crab. Without detailing every event by day 2 the chef didn’t hide that she was not happy to deal with us. We are a very simple group and constantly complimented her cooking. Something just wasn’t right and it was clear. I reached out to mgr about our experience so they were aware - on the day we left. 6 days ago. Haven’t heard a peep. With great reviews I questioned my experience but all six couples traveling together felt every detail of this very strongly.

Amazing 65th Birthday Celebration

Sun Kissed Villa was the perfect location to celebrate my 65th birthday with 7 best girlfriends. It was absolutely gorgeous. First, Deana helped setup an unforgettable weekend. Every local vendor recommended was top notch. She was always reachable and accommodating, like when we had flight delays and needed to rearrange transportation. I can’t say enough about the staff who became family to us. Chef Amoy had free reign with meals and she did not disappoint. She is an amazing cook. Her sweet plantains are to die for. Amoy made several local dishes and took special care with my birthday dinner on the beach. Orville provided great service during our meals with his charming personality. Johno didn’t just make sure we were secure at night. He made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. He even helped us turn the living room into a stage for our talent show. His bonfire during the beach dinner made for great pictures. Miriam quietly went about the business of keeping the villa clean and in order. Even our driver Clevie was the best. When he saw that we like to party he brought the boombox onto the bus as we went out on excursions. If you’re looking for a beautiful location with a great staff Sun Kissed Villa is the place for you!

Great location

Upon arrival we were instantly impressed with the villa and its location. We actually thought that it looked much nicer than the pictures. We had ample space within and outside of the property. The bedrooms were a great size and the bathrooms were huge in size with mainly walk in showers. The outdoor spaces as well as indoor catered for both comfortable dining and lounging. There’s a choice of areas around the poo to sunbathe or relax on a sun lounger. There was also equipment to enjoy kayaking or floating in the sea. The beach was steps away from the villa and it felt like a private beach as it is only shared by a few villas. There is plenty to explore at sea too as we stumbled upon a mini cove great for snorkelling. As soon as we got there we were met with a warm welcome by the staff. They went over and above to ensure that we had a great stay. The meals that were prepared were authentic and delicious. Arranging meals was very flexible and you could order whatever you desired to eat. The Wi-Fi and water pressure could be improved. Prior to the holiday, we were asked about trips that we wanted to do and an itinerary was prepared for us by the manager. They could also provide transportation. However, we decided to hire our own vehicle as this worked out more cost effective. We did many fantastic excursions and visited different parts of the island. We had an amazing holiday.

Perfect for Family of 8 - Sunkissed!

This is a property you will want to return to each year! Our family of 8 found SunKissed Villa to be perfect. Plenty of room to gather or spread out. Each space unique and with a lovely & tranquil view. Comfortable beds w/nice respite AC in each room. Clean house, beach, pool and pool deck. Walkable gated community where each person felt safe. We made our way to the bar outside the gate for drinks. A perfect spot between OR & MB. Our group did activities together (Glistening waters a must do!) to some apart (distilleries versus waterfalls & ziplining) The difference maker for this property is the staff. Cleveland was friendly and safe driver. He was thoughtful about where he took us and always had great things to share. We also had a great driver in Wayne. He made our excursion so special with added detours to learn about the area and history. Jermaine was a new butler, He greeted us with rum punch and was attentive. Miriam was so sweet and helpful. She took care to clean our rooms, wash and dry a few clothes, and helped to make everyone feel so warm and welcome. -Johnno (a new family friend) there every night & day. He made us feel safe well taken care of... he built the best bonfire. But if you come - come for Amoy. Amoy was more than an amazing chef (have everything she makes!) She knows how to make your visit a delightful and delicious experience. Lastly, thank you to Deana, our wonderful concierge.

Family memories made.

The staff was excellent. Very accommodating, welcoming and friendly! We had the best birthday dance party courtesy of DJ (Chef) Byrd and Jahno built the most amazing bonfire imaginable!! Al was on point during meal service and clean up. Marianne quietly went about the housekeeping while constantly laughing at our goofy little girls. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Some of the photos in the listing don’t match the current layout. (I believe that one of the pics might be from another house altogether.) Not a big deal but it did make room selection with the littles a bit more difficult. There is definitely some maintenance necessary that should not fall on the staff to fix and they should be addressed sooner than later. One big example is the set of large accordion doors for the living room. They cannot be opened because there is a broken key in the lock. As a result there was no air flow in that section of the house so we didn’t spend any time in there whatsoever. Do not be afraid to ask the staff for the things you need (beach towels, bath towels, something specific from the store… etc) they will do their very best to accommodate you!! This truly was a slice of island living where we made beautiful family memories with the help of our wonderful staff.
